I was able to get my nails done, and I really love how they turned out! The prices are very affordable, and the location is convenient, especially since it's not too far from one of my new work locations. I believe my nail tech's name was Hannah, and she did a great job. However, I do not know if I would bother coming back again due to a few reasons, but I would not try the same tech again. One, I noticed after the appointment that I had two cuts on separate cuticles from the tech trimming them back. Additionally, each of my cuticles were not given the same amount of attention. One particular finger stands out with the gap between the gel and my new growth being larger than the rest. I am aware that perhaps my nails grow unevenly, but I've gotten my nails done before and never had this issue so I think it's still worth noting. I also left the salon with unnoticed gel under my nail that I had to chisel off later. Lastly, at exactly the one week mark, the gel on one nail started lifting. That particularly upsets me because I'm worried about moisture and bacteria getting trapped so I had to remove the gel much sooner than anticipated. I work a desk job and genuinely don't do much with my hands so I am confident it wasn't anything I did. Overall, for $60, I expected better. I am honestly most disappointed because I was willing to support a salon with their values. Lastly, parking at the co-op is no longer free and hasn't been for at least a month. I got my nails done 4 weeks ago and they're still going strong. The gelly polish doesn't lose its shine so it still looks like a fresh paint job and there is no lifting on the nails.
