Well I needed couple for nonsense things as all my banking is automatic. Flying Internationally for over 35 years I had to use auto payments for monthly bills of course. I retired but found out I may need to write a check. I am 59 and to you younger folks we had to write checks and use a mailbox to pay bills. Here we go folks I need a book of checks. "I have not wrote one for minimum 20 years" but first order checks don't arrive in my PO Box? So second box of checks sent to PO Box was delivered but I was not the person who received them from Post office box. (Buckley WA Post office pathetic) Now remember my account number changes for EVERY auto payment. I have now called twice to all my vendors. Trust me that was hours on the phone to add new account. Plus I am getting calls now and nasty emails why my account has no funds. now talking to a real person from the Philippines. 8 hours on phone EASY talking to vendors to change to new account numbers twice. Ok I ask for 3rd try on another book of checks. Understand I am frustrated calling all utilities and insurance and car loan payments etc.... And having to call with credit card to make sure my normal month bills are on time. Guess what I got my book of checks starting number # 101 ok folks you think that's going to be a problem? I had tried several times to make a appointment online. The website had errors. Tried to contact the ranch via telephone but no answer and no ability to leave message requesting a return all. Finally decided to hop into the car and drive to the branch. Big mistake! There was one teller, and one staff person seated at a 'business' window. I inquired about notary services and was told that the notary was busy. I inquired as to how long the wait might be and was told they had no idea. It was suggested to make an appointment online. I informed them that I had already attempted to do that both both onine and by phone. I decided to wait this out and see where it went. As I waited I placed a call to BECU to inquire about their services. After about 10 minutes, a staff person approached me and said two bankers were notaries and both were unavailable. This was a different message than what the lobby lizard had stated. Whe I stated the matter of my document, it was determined that they couldn't sign a real estate document. Very disappointing and time to move my accounts. By the way,the licensing agency around the corner was amazing!
