Spent the day bicycling on Gasparilla and stopped in for a snack and a drink. The bloody Mary was very good.

Tammy will take care of you! She made this amazing grouper happened for me. Lovey place downtown. I almost had brunch, but the grouper sounded so good and it was a great choice.

Brittany did an amazing job - Although the grouper was a tad bit salty- the salad was very big - took home for later - key lime reminded me a lot like cheesecake * thanks again

My friend wanted to go to Boca grande to look around and since I've never been here, I found a place to eat. This location was very clean. Odd that the bathroom is outside and around the corner but that's beside the point. The service was phenomenal was very helpful in us choosing what we were going to order. If I had one complaint it would be that his reference for size for the nachos was estimated. These nachos were huge for an appetizer for two people and we ordered small. I got the fish sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and my friend got a chicken club, which was also very good. According to him I would gladly come back here and eat again.

One of the few places we could find open on the island for dinner and they had plenty of outdoor seating with live music. We were greeted instantly and told to pick any table we wanted. There were probably only 5 other tables occupied so the service was fine since it was open. The dishes were honestly better than we expected. The salad was very basic but I really enjoyed my fish with veggies and rice. The veggies were over salted but not a huge deal. The fish was cooked nicely and the fruit salad on top was delicious. Overall, nothing special but better than we expected.

Nice outdoor seating area under umbrellas. Started off with a key lime margarita so delicious! I had the grouper basket it was just okay, my partner had the BLT fries are sold separately. I would say the food was average. Our server Brittney was amazing, friendly and cheerful offering excellent service. The restroom was dirty, smelly and honestly would not return just cause the restrooms were so bad, the main reason for the lower stars

Nice place to grab a bite. We hit the beach early and after catching some rays on the sand we decided to go and do brunch or breakfast as it was. Breakfast served between 8am - 2pm, and lunch begins at 11am. I didn't get past the lunch menu as we ordered some drinks, 10:30am aaah who's judging. Food came out in no time and it was hot and tasty. Place is dog friendly as most of Gasparilla island is. Would definitely come back for lunch.

I went to this Bistro two days in a row and the service the first day was unmatched! The second day we got soggy food, half melted cheese (for a grilled cheese) and the other plate just didn't taste the same. The difference was the staff... the first day our waiter was very polite and informative, she was right on the money! The second day we had a different waiter and the cook was also different and it showed. The service was terrible and the cook didn't make matters any better!!! Our food waited under the warmer for a while about 10min (hence the soggy bread) but it failed to melt the grill cheese... When you have staff that doesn't care about their work it makes the experience worst. Unsure if I would go back or not but we'll leave it to chance.

Great food and good service, the food took a lil longer but it's okay because they were somewhat busy during the time I was there. I ate the grouper sandwich and the key lime aioli was 10/10 amazing!! It's a bit higher priced but comparable to the other places nearby. Would definitely go back.

Nice place to eat outside. Nice music outside. Friendly staff. As a plant based person, one of the salads was enough for me. The bread for the ahi tuna sandwich was very good. Reasonable and glad it was open at 3:00 on a Sunday as we were just passing by. Large bowl of soup- didn't expect that. But my boyfriend said not much lobster in it.

Absolutely amazing breakfast!! Had the key lime Benedict! Mimosas and bacon! And check out this key lime pie?

Just had awesome fish tacos (cobia) at the Pink Elephant. Always in search of better than average…read morefish tacos and they did not disappoint. Plenty of meaty fish similar to mahi. Delicious topping & sauce. Highly recommend. They come 2 per order and they split them on plates for us since we just wanted a snack (only went in for a drink). The onion rings were also way above average, crunchy and delicious! Austin the bartender is really sweet and keeps the customers happy. Enjoyed sitting at the bar so he could serve us again. Don't recommend going on a holiday weekend though. What were we thinking? Well the beach had no parking and the streets were very busy. Glad we found a place to park at the pink elephant. We just wanted a little beach outing for vow-renewal "anniversary." Wink. Probably going again soon on our engagement anniversary!

The waitress took our order and besides being served our food from the runner, we didn't see our waitress again. My friend who has an allergy was served the wrong food and we never received refills on our drinks, water, etc. The food was good. Presented nicely and pretty good portions. I finally had to get up and go find our waitress inside at the end to get our check to leave. Would have loved to have a good experience. May try one more time.

If you find yourself at Love Boat Ice Cream on Sanibel Island, don't let the line discourage you…read more Like so many great places on the island, there was a line out the door when we visited, but it moved quickly and was absolutely worth the wait. The shop itself is pretty simple, but the star of the show is the homemade ice cream. They offer an incredible selection of flavors, and there's truly something for everyone. I ordered the Brownie Batter and Gator Tracks, and while both were delicious, the Brownie Batter was my favorite. If you're a chocolate lover like I am, it's rich, decadent, and full of chocolate flavor. We also tried one of the sorbets, which was good, but it didn't stand out quite as much as the ice cream. The only suggestion I'd have is to include descriptions next to each flavor on the menu board. With so many unique options, almost every customer ahead of us had questions about what was in each flavor. The employees were incredibly knowledgeable and patiently answered every question, which was impressive considering how many flavors they offer. Having descriptions posted would help keep the line moving while making it a little easier to choose. One of my favorite touches was something completely unexpected. They have three-ring binders for each of the 50 states where visitors can sign their names and leave a note. Our group represented three different states, and the kids had so much fun finding our states and adding our names. It's such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel personal and memorable. Great homemade ice cream, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fun little details that make you smile. It's easy to see why Love Boat is such a popular stop on Sanibel. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.
