We asked one of their staff member what we need to get up and running for some shore fishing at the resort we were staying at. Adam was super patient and got us all set up with poles, hooks, and live bait. We ended up going back to The Tackle Box the next day for some more live bait and ended up buying their fishing charter last moment for the next mid morning. Got to the docks about one hour early and Chris the owner and first mate Adam were there ready to go!! Chris and Adam were very professional, knowledgeable and patient with my boys and had fish on within a matter minutes! If your close to Marathon in the Florida Keys and looking to do some fishing I would highly recommend stopping at The Tackle Shop! Great and friendly staff and have everything you need!

My iphone died and so as i was trying to leave with my 1 and 5 year old i couldn't not get into my tesla . we went to the front desk where we encountered, i'm guessing a very unhelpful pregnant manager( im also pregnant ) . she was unwilling to ask staff with the walkie talkie everyone is carrying if anyone had an iphone charger . she was just like sorry about your luck . after going around we found the nicest worker Lilly to help . You go around the corner to the bar area to order any drinks. We found a spot outside at a picnic table by the marina to eat. The food is fresh but overpriced. The lobster roll was good but had more roll than lobster. The lobster chowder was better than the lobster bisque I had at a different restaurant but still not as good as what I make at home. I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.
