Food was excellent. Reasonable priced and drinks were amazing. We had the key west shrimp and teriyaki chicken. Very tasty with sides of black beans salad and rice.

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The owner was so nice and really made the experience enjoyable. You can buy fresh fish to take home or eat in there, which is great. My wife and I shared the Poseidon platter and it was the perfect size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Watching the chickens in the tree next door while we ate was such a fun little bonus.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you go just before dusk you can watch them climb the tree to go to sleep.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had the grouper it was the best fish I've had on this whole trip. It was seasoned to perfection. I got it grilled. They have many options for side dishes. Everyone was happy with their meal. The waitress Shay was extremely attentive and patient. She was by far one of the best waitresses we've had this whole time. they have a good fish selection. They also have a nice case full of fish that you can purchase the smoked fish dip looked so good Yum. Thank you so much.

Absolutely must go! I think the hype of "on the water" spots over rides great food in this area and this was our fav meal of the week. This indoor/outdoor hybrid restaurant was delicious and really a great fine. Seafood was fresh, seasoned to PERFECTION and not overcooked or oily. Fried seafood is a light dusting with great flavor and doesn't taste like flour and oil at other spots. Service was outstanding and don't leave without a slice of chocolate cake or pie. Absolutely will be back!

One of those I don't want to leave a review and spoil what feels like a hidden gem type reviews. Stopped here to dine in for some stone crabs (we saw the sign from the road), insanely fresh considering the price. Also got a pulled pork sandwich and shrimp tacos, both delicious. We were there right when it opened so not sure how busy it gets. We did see several locals and/or tourists drop in to ask about the catch of the day, the market seems a great spot to pick up seafood. Great service, but I could see it getting tricky if the crowd picked up. Certainly no frills seating, but expected considering how great the prices and quality were. They were telling us about some expansions and renovations, so it may spruced up by our next keys trip - because we will definitely be returning!

Lobster and grits Lobster great but worse grits ever for this dish

Great service Good breakfast The lobster and grits were a disappointment Instant grits made with water only with some sprinkled cheese on top was LAME Here's how you need to make them- Instant In a medium saucepan, bring chicken broth and 2 cups water to a boil; generously season with salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and bring to a simmer. Whisk in grits and cook, whisking constantly, until grits have absorbed liquid and are very tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in cheese and butter until melted; season with salt and pepper. Top with chopped green onions

If you like extremely fresh fish prepared perfectly and simply, this is the spot. They really know local fish and how to make the flavor shine. Let me be specific. If you want salmon or lobster thermador, go someplace else. If you want yellow tail, triple tail snapper or grouper, then come here. Ask what is off the boat today. I recommend the blackened seasoning which they apply sparingly. Tastes great and is not salty. The servers know their stuff. I like the thatched roof area for dinner because of the ambiance. But the deck in the other side has no tvs. A plus. You will love it. My fav.

Food was overall good, but the main dish we came for was the Buffalo Mahi bites. They used to be thick, but they were very thin. (We last came in 2022.) Drinks were good and [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience was cool![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was not very attentive.

You go around the corner to the bar area to order any drinks. We found a spot outside at a picnic table by the marina to eat. The food is fresh but overpriced. The lobster roll was good but had more roll than lobster. The lobster chowder was better than the lobster bisque I had at a different restaurant but still not as good as what I make at home. I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.

I ordered the grouper, which is typically a highlight in the Florida Keys, but it lacked even basic seasoning and fell flat in flavor. The coleslaw was noticeably too sweet for my taste, and the potato salad included green peppers, which is an unusual choice and didn't complement the dish well. The service also left much to be desired. Our waitress was inattentive and provided very little information throughout the meal. Most concerning was that we left a significant portion of our food untouched, yet she never checked in or asked if anything was wrong--something I would expect at any restaurant, especially one as busy as this. Overall, while the atmosphere may draw a crowd, the food quality and service did not meet expectations. For comparison, I've had a far better grouper sandwich at Keys Fisheries Market & Marina, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope improvements can be made, as this location clearly has potential. Respond to owner, your response is your opinion, I have no reason to give bad information, if you watched your video as you stated you would have been able to see my friend and I dusguessing the food, also she never refilled our tea as frankly we didn't even drink it all. A good and attentive waitress could have mentioned that it came with coleslaw not to give two portions. It's whatever sir and if you want to get more technical, they grouper was fishy tasting and still had the dark vein line down the filet.

We got seated inside just as the sun was starting to set. Sadly all the guests that had finished eating right before us decided to walk over to the dock outside the restaurant which just so happened to be the exact viewing location for the sunset so we didn't get any really good photos of it bc there were so many people over there videoing it and taking photos. It was still nice scenery while we waited for our food though. I ordered ceviche to start us off as our appetizer and it was really good. My dinner was a pasta dish with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was supposed to be a white cream sauce but it was really runny. Even adding extra Parmesan cheese to it didn't help thicken it. It tasted ok. Not my best pick. I had a choice of soup or salad with it. I chose their she crab soup and I'm glad I did. It was great. Almost reminded me of homemade chicken and dumplings soup just with crab. I really liked it. I should have stopped with that and the ceviche. My husband got a grouper fish sandwich. He thought it was good but the prices were a bit high for what it was. His fish sandwich was $29. Although good, not worth $29. My pasta definitely not worth the $31. May be a bit of a tourist trap but the food was decent.
