I've gone to this beautician for years and have NEVER had any issues. I've use Merinda as my personal stylist and every time I've gotten my hair done, I get sooooo many compliments! People literally would stop me in the grocery store to ask me where I've gotten my hair done. I've referred a few people to this Salon and one woman I still keep in touch with told me she was glad that I referred her because she Loves how the stylist does her hair. I'm so satisfied with the gorgeous results I receive on a consistent basis. I won't let any one else touch my hair.

Despite having an appointment that we made she had other clients coming in and out and barely touched my daughter's hair. Thankfully another hairstylist kindly braided my child's hair. Otherwise who knows how long we would have been there. The ends of the braids I was not happy with since they were uneven and scraggly but we had to rush out since we were an hour late to a bday party. The next day I tried to fix it as best as I can. I understand a little spanish, so I heard her ask another stylist if they had any dry scalp shampoo, and the other stylist replied that they didn't. Instead of telling me that, Flora just kept shampooing. I'll definitely go back, but next time I'll take my own products. UPDATE - I went back and Flora burned the DAYLIGHTS out of my scalp. I eventually just walked in and took the first available stylist "Mirva". She did a great job. My hair had never been that straight post-relaxer. I continued to visit this stylist every two weeks until she pissed me off by taking another client and having someone else work on me. No ma'am--- I switched to Edwardo--and he was amazing. He styled my hair with the pizzazz; pin curls; and feather bangs. I stop going for a while when Edwardo rested the hot blow dryer on my forehead--ouch! It later blistered and left a scar. Ohhh....this salon charges extra $5 for naturals (that would be Black/Afro-American who don't have relaxed hair). So instead of paying $25 for wash and style like everyone else with kinky, wavy, curly hair we have to pay an extra $5. Deep conditioner is $10/extra. Salon is descent, spacious, clean, orderly, and neat (bring your own toiletry often out of toilet paper). Location + Appearance + Price + Hair + Technique + Overall, this salon has good stylist (when they figure out what you like). I would definitely return to the salon.
