Their prices are higher than what you would pay at a lot that just gets cars from the auction and turns them over for a profit. Now, the business model that Workman follows is not for everyone. If you are looking for a bargain price, go elsewhere. However, if you want to get a car that has been completely gone over and ready to go, I think the price is fair considering the services are included in the price. These folks are fair and honest.

Cox Automotive owns the Manheim Auto Auctions nationwide. 3) Cox Automotive also owns "Kelly Blue Book" (aka "KBB). Are you kidding me? That's legal? A publication that tells you what the used cars are worth (Good, Better or Best condition) is owned by the same company that owns all the Manheim Auctions across the U.S and beyond? How sneaky and underhanded is that? How come the U.S. Justice Department doesn't stop companies that try to monopolize the market? Did you know that Cox Automotive also owns Dealertrack? Many many many dealerships use Dealertrack to complete the paperwork when you buy a vehicles (all the state and local specifics are loaded into Dealertrack so it is convenient for dealerships to use it. It does other things too but this is one of the main reasons people use it. Google "who owns Dealertrack". Here is what you will find: Dealertrack is owned by Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of the privately held Cox Enterprises. Cox Automotive acquired Dealertrack in 2015 for $4 billion. It operates as a major brand within their portfolio, which includes other automotive industry leaders like Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, and Manheim. They also own www.centraldispatch.com. This is the website where dealerships, auto transport trucking companies and auto transport brokers go to post vehicles that need transporting so the carriers can find these loads. They do not check carrier credentials... if they did you would not hear about the thousands of trucking companies caught driving illegally blasted all over the news across the country.

After researching I found that a Mazda3 would be my best option. With terrible credit at the time I was pretty short on financing options, but I decided to give Manheim Car King a try. I test drove a blue mazda3 and when home to deliberate. When I came back the dealer convinced me it was this grey one i was driving, I swear it wasnt. But after much questioning and some cocky guy in the office figuring out my financing and up selling me the shittiest warranty ever, I dropped $2000 on a down payment and drove off the lot. ONE week later, I heard a knocking. It got louder and louder, I took it to a mechanic and when I told them I just bought the car they told me to turn right around and go back - the engine is shot. Honestly, if I knew a little more about cars I wouldn't have bought a Mazda3 with a hitch on the back installed as this is not a towing car, but I digress. I took it back and they refused to help me. Refused to trade in or return. After screaming in showroom and telling them I would smear their name all over the internet they said I was "one tough cookie" and decided to pay for half my repair. Still cost me little over $800. 3 years later I have replaced the normal wear and tare, on top of a new TRANSMISSION, ENGINE, CLUTCH, STARTER, and the A/C doesn't work anymore. To name only the main things. I thought I was getting a great deal at $6000 - but with interest and repairs I have spent more then I would care to admit on this piece of shit and refuse to do anymore. I am now looking for a new car - and my advice to all of you is to not only research the cars you want, but the place you are getting it from. DO NOT go to a place that gets their cars from auctions if you can afford. Its a crap shoot and I'm terrible at gambling. The only thing this place did for me was get me a high interest rate loan that then repaired my credit a bit so I can now trade this hunk in. I still owe on the loan - but its so bad I'd rather cut my losses and be done with it.

They have two lots, and when I was interested in a car at the Manheim location, they brought it up to Harrisburg for me to test drive the next day. I drove off the lot in a beautiful low mileage used Audi. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership treated me with respect and I felt they were honest and truly helpful- sort of the opposite of the stereotype of used car salesman. They earned my loyalty and my praise, so I wanted to recommend them to others. These are good guys who really want to put you in the right car for a decent price.

I instantly called back and spoke to another person telling her that Ms. Ashley just hanged up the phone on me. She told me "can you please tell me what the complaint is about?". Half way of the conversation, she said the owner was here and he would call me back and hanged up the phone.
