Came here on a Monday night and we ended up sitting at the bar. The vibes were great and the inside is decorated so cute! We had great service and I didn't get her name but she was super friendly and timed all of our food perfectly. We got the wings, half salads and split 2 pizzas. The Black and Blue pizza was really good lots of flavors and big pieces of steak. The mushroom pizza I had more hope for but it was still good. Needs like a sauce or something and ditch all the kale. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back

Out for dinner with friends. First impression, very nice inside. When you first walk in, you are greeted with an open room with a nice size bar. Dim lighting and decor hanging from above is a nice touch. Greeted right away. Ordered Margaritas and cheese curds to start off. Drink was good. Cheese curds were yummy little squares. Crispy and cheesy. We both ordered the smash burger which had great flavor. The fries were nice and crispy. Was a great experience!! Ready to go back and try different items.

Food was great. Service was just right. Nice comfortable setting. Food served piping hot. Philly Cheesesteak was perfect. Steak melted in your mouth. Very large portions. Reuben sandwich was huge and delicious. They have a great bar that we will need to visit another time.

Steak and egg bagel, chicken and waffles taco, Polaris power bowl with salmon added & liberty smash burger

Tried Liberty Tavern during brunch hours on a Saturday. The space is pretty big, and looks new. It wasn't crowded, but busy enough to have several servers. I ordered the liberty smash burger and the Polaris power bowl with salmon added. The burger was big, and very tasty. I ordered it with breakfast potato's which were good. The power bowl was ok at best. The chipotle sauce it came with just tasted like flavorless mayo with a hint of chipotle. The vegetables and quinoa mixture barely had any flavor. I also asked for the salmon to be well done- which may have been a bad idea on my part since it came really dry and shriveled. My friend enjoyed her steak and eggs bagel and yogurt parfait. The chicken and waffles taco was good, but felt like it was missing something (no Tabasco does not help). Our overall experience at the Liberty tavern was good. The server was kind, and out of the 2-3 dishes we each had, we had at least one dish we were happy with. There's many options on the menu for everyone, so I would say this is a good place to come with a group or family.

I was very anxious to try Liberty Tavern based on all the reviews. An overall 4.2 star rating got my attention. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We didn't realize that this was the last night of "restaurant week" until we got to the restaurant. We spotted restaurant week flyers at the hostess stand while we stood there for over 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. A hostess did finally appear and offered us seating at the high-tops in the bar area or at regular tables in what she called "the back room" (which is actually located along the front of the building). We opted for the backroom which was actually a very nice area. Then there's the noise. This restaurant has one of the highest ambivant noise leve of any restaurant I've been in. It was hard talking to my wife across the table. Service was adequate. Our waitress was prompt to take our orders and was very pleasant. Our appetizers came out rather quickly BUT our entrees also came out rather quickly - while we were still trying to enjoy our appetizers. My wife and I both ordered one of the restaurant week specials - which include an appetizer, entree and dessert. For appetizers, I had the clam chowder which was excellent - even if it was not pipinng hot. My wife had the cheese curds which were a skimpy portion and nothing to write home about. For entrees, I had the fish and chips which were very good but I thought the portions (fish and cole slaw) were skimpy compared to other Polaris area restaurants. My wife had the 8 oz filet and said it was excellent. For dessert, they were out of the chocolate mousse (one of two items on the restaurant week meu). The waitress offered us brownies with ice cream in place of the mousse. Dessert was very good. OVERALL -- * Food was high 3-star, almost 4-start * Service was a solid 3-star. * Hostess was a low 2-star. I really had high hopes for Liberty Tavern and can't quite understand all the 4 and 5-star reviews. We did not have a 4 or 5-star experience and will likely "drive-by" next time.

Left side is the Philly sandwich and right is the smash burger.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars. The food was above average for bar food but nothing special. The service was great: our server stopped by very quickly and our food came out within 10 minutes. The ambiance is also really nice - clean, good lighting and lively atmosphere with a packed house at 5 pm on a Friday. Their happy hour goes until 6 and gets you a small discount on drinks and some apps. We split the smash burger and cheesesteak sandwich which came with fries. The burger was fine - I didn't really love the sauce on it and cheesesteak sounded great but was just okay. The description sounded amazing - house cheese dip, jalapeños, horseradish, carmelized onion... but you couldn't really taste any of those things. I believe the fries were frozen, not fresh but they were well seasoned and hot and crispy. I would go back and try the pizza. It's a fun vibe with decent food.

Five stars for serving on Thanksgiving!! The drinks were fantastic. Turkey was tasty. They showed up and tried. Servers were great and worked their legs off. Great service!!

Service was friendly and efficient, and we all got our correct orders and bills. Most people in our party were quite happy with their food but I wasn't. I ordered the Asian Glazed Salmon, Stir-Fried Veggies & Coconut Edamame Rice. The salmon was very good but neither the veggies nor the rice had any seasoning. They weren't even salted (and I am one who often finds restaurant food way too salty). The coconut rice was nice and creamy but it had no flavor, not even any hint of coconut. Also, the restaurant has nice round booth seating but it was so loud none of us could hear the others on the other side of the booth. It wasn't loud music; it was people!!

Came here on a whim on a Sunday evening. Place wasn't super busy so we were sat quickly. Right off the bat the place looked very nice - a little modern, a little rustic, nice Christmas decorations up since we went in December. Our server seemed like she was having a rough day but she still did a nice job with everything and was very quick. Our food only took like maybe 7-8 minutes after we placed it - we were shocked at the speed lol Everything was delicious. Pretty pricey, but seemed worth the cost. My ONLY nit to pick is I feel like there should be one more pretzel for the everything pretzels. Will definitely be back

    EVERYTHING PRETZELS

Went for the happy hour tonight. We ordered the sliders with fries, the Everything Pretzels and the Margherita Pizza. The sliders were cooked perfectly. They were juicy and tasted well seasoned. They come with onion, cheese and a special sauce. The everything pretzels were so good. They had a good amount of seasoning without being over done. The pretzels were light and airy and very flavorful. They came with two dipping sauces, honey mustard and a beer cheese that was very good. The pizza had whole sliced tomatoes and mozzarella. The crust was thin but light and airy. Everything we ate was very good. Our server was super nice and attentive. The restaurant was decorated very nicely and had some very cool lighting and decor. Even the bathroom was nice.

UPDATE - Another great meal. Didn't have much time for a proper meal, so we just stopped here for a quick bite. Ordered the roasted chicken and bacon pizza and the roasted chicken sandwich. Both really good. The pizza is not from a wood fired oven, but still tasty. We'll return.

Yesterday my wife and I ventured out to hit up a happy hour, after searching a few places, we settled on Liberty Tavern. First time here and the place is decorated very nice with a good mix of woods and glass and some brass instruments throw in the mix, it had a relaxed vibe. Our server was friendly and efficient and responded quickly to any request. Since we were here for Happy Hour, we asked about the happy hour menu and after it was explained we made our selections. We choose sliders and fries first off they aren't on the Happy Hour menu rather they are the Thursday special. You receive two sliders with American cheese and the sliders come with house sauce, think thousand island dressing, topped with onions. They were cooked well but still juicy and well seasoned. The buns were grilled but still soft. Next we chose everything seasoned pretzel sticks, they were served warm, but were some of the softest pretzel sticks I have ever had. They were served with two sauce a honey mustard sauce and a bourbon cheese sauce both complimented the pretzel very well. Finally we chose the margarita pizza it was a thin crust topped with marinara sauce fresh basil and sliced tomatoes, baked golden brown but still soft. Overall the food was delicious and quite flavorful. The price was decent for the food received and we will definitely be adding liberty tavern to our rotation of restaurants.

Host said they had to check. Upon their return I was informed we could not be served as only service dogs were allowed on the patio. I was a little puzzled by this as I have brought my dog to other establishments in Ohio with outdoor patios with no issue having a dog. After driving 9 hours, all my son and I wanted was a tasty meal which this restaurant looks to have. We ended up across the street at Liberty Tavern's patio with no issue having our pup with us. Whom placed me at a very nice table. I looked over the menu, which had a little something for everybody. To be honest I liked that, plus there wasnt an over abundance of items... it was that goldilocks moment... just right. I decided to try the grape leaves. I asked if they had made them themselves and they did -which is what pushed me in the direction. You get two very stuffed grape leaves --that are definitely made in house. I was not really a fan of the lemon sauce that they use. I didnt dislike it, I felt it was a tad too thick and not enough lemon. However, I seemed to eat all of it, which is something I dont do at most places, so despite it needing more lemon I must of liked it more than I initially realized. As far as ambience, it still has the footprint of the former sushi restaurant. the bar is completely unchanged. however, they have these lovely little lilac flowers or Japanese cherry flowers hanging from trellises throughout the entire back dining room. makes it look lovely. This transforms it into its own identity. i liked it. They had soft music playing. I wasn't sure if it was Mediterranean or Spanish, but I enjoyed it. I liked my time there The one thing that needs mentioned is the pricing of the salad proteins. This is confusing. I was going to order a salad but the menu had it listed the price of a salad. Them below protiens. The price listed on menu is not in addition to salad. Its the final price of the salad. I did not realize that and thus didnt order the salad. I also didn't like being quoted 10.80 for my total and then having it changed because I used American Express to 11 something. Personally, I feel businesses should make it a little easier for their customer in the cost of doing business should be at the restaurants expense in that situation. We ordered four stacked burgers and one bacon-mushroom burger, onion rings, fries and all four dipping sauces, paid at the counter and sat down to wait for our food. We waited less than 10 minutes for Jordan to tell us our food was ready and dived in to enjoy a nice late lunch.
