This spot is hidden gem, if you're visiting...if you're a local then you know about the great breakfast at Keystone Restaurant. This spot is a solid breakfast/lunch diner, nothing extra just places to sit and eat your meal. Service was spot on, to me it seems like they're trying to get you in and out, to get started with your day. Ambiance? None...it's a nice little family run spot that is serving up a great tasting breakfast. I had a breakfast sandwich with their home fries, the breakfast tasted homemade. ***Flight Attendant approved***

Was downtown and decided to try out. Table had Western omelet and 2 French toast with eggs and bacon. Bacon was very tasty and the right consistency. French toast was very yummy with a good eggy flavor. Had tea and coffee also. Friendly service and diner ambiance (very clean).

Great breakfast spot that gets packed with customers on the weekend, so be prepared to wait for a table and move fast to get one that's open. Or you can always sit at the counter if there's room. Standard offerings for breakfast and lunch. Nothing that's going to blow your mind other than how busy it gets and your food won't take that long to come out. These cooks are FAST! Waitresses, not as fast but there's only so much hey can do when it's as busy as this place. The amount of take-out orders they were fulfilling while handling a full restaurant was truly astounding. I'll be back to try again and see if I can get this review up to a 5 star. Stay tuned...

Great breakfast and good service. Cooks are in the open and food comes out fast. Had the eggs, potatoes, sausage and scrapple. Sausage was homemade and very good.

This place didn't look like much from the street but it is family owned and they make you feel welcome. The owner John is very nice and professional. All the workers was nice even the customers it had the everybody knows your name feeling small whole in the wall dinner . The food was good dinner food and they server a late breakfast or even maybe all day. It is a 4 star greasy spoon dinner.

Queen Elizabeth sits on a THRONE And Communism got OVERTHROWN Bill Clinton's intern got him BLOWN But there's no diner like KEYSTONE You used to call my CELLPHONE You used to leave a message at the TONE But now you're touching road on some other Yelper's BONE Still there's no diner like KEYSTONE So I Arma-traded you for JOAN And like the Mona Lisa I made her MOAN I must have a heart because I got her ALONE And there's no diner like KEYSTONE WHAT What to get: Diner Food Why: There's no Finer Food What if I'm on a cruise: Get Liner Food What if it sucks: Be a Whiner Food What if it goes to Hong Kong: Get China Food Don't you have to go: Kthxbyenow Food If you see a bunch of cops at this diner - obviously - they're the Keystone Cops. But then what cops aren't these days amirite. Ohhhhhh. This is the best thing I've ever eaten in Harrisburg and one of my favourites and all of Pennsylvania. And if you need to use the bathroom here, it's the Peestone Diner. It's nothing fancy and nothing elaborate, but what they do have is excellent breakfast food and all kinds of homemade delights that put most diners to shame. Their prices are so dirt cheap that you're basically getting free food. I certainly will be back here for regular noms. Every time I'm in Harrisburg, in fact. Service as delightful as well. And if you prefer salty fast food fried chicken, go to KFCStone Restaurant. After eating a very disappointing hipster breakfast down the road, we came here and fell in love, and paid a third of the price for three times the amount of food, about 103 times as tasty. And that is the problem with the vast majority of hipster food. Give me this place 100% of the time, with the 100% tolerance and progressivism of the hipsters as a side. And if you're wondering who your Mother, your Sister, and your Girlfriend are secretly dating right now, I'm actually dating all Threestone Restaurant.

Keystone is a standard take on traditional American breakfast food. The eggs were decently executed but not lavish. I ordered turkey bacon but was given ham instead. Not a big deal, but an indication of sloppiness by the expeditor and servers. The textures and flavors were reliable and consistent to classic breakfast food, but not impressive.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time on a Tuesday morning around 9 am and the place was pretty busy. They also had a lot of people coming in for take-out orders. Good sign! It's a small restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch with table and counter seating. Looks like your typical greasy spoon, divey diner--which, in my experience, usually turns out to be the best kind!! It's a seat yourself establishment - so find your self a table or seat at the counter and the waitress will come over to you promptly. They are a family owned business with really friendly staff and the waitress told us they've been around for 60+ years. Another good sign! They have a decent menu serving eggs, French toast, pancakes, breakfast meats (including bacon, turkey bacon, beef sausage, scrapple (my FAVE) and ham)--your typical breakfast foods. They offer grits or homefries with each breakfast. I didn't try the grits but the homefries were great with a buttery flavor. I also enjoyed my eggs over easy (perfectly cooked) and scrapple. My boyfriend enjoyed the French toast (made with Texas toast), eggs w/cheese and beef sausage. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. This is a place I will definitely visit again--they have a way of making you feel like family/great friends from the time you walk in the door. Such a great find! Parking was on the street and with Park Mobile I paid $1.85 for an hour. They also DO accept credit cards.

My waitress (Danyell) immediately took my order of shrimp cocktail and the prime rib special. The food is where the experience soured. The shrimp cocktail (6 pieces) was cooked well and arrived chilled. The issue I had was with the garlic aeoli, cocktail sauce, and old bay seasoning dust that was generously sprinkled on top of the shrimp. Both sauces were under seasoned and the dry old bay seasoning added an odd texture and taste that detracted from th flavor of the shrimp cocktail. The prime rib was extremely tough, had no flavor, and was missing the cap. This was a big disappointment as I expected more from award winning chef Dougie Krick. The meal included mashed potatoes, however, as they do not offer a baked potato, I substituted for steak fries which arrived greasy. Total with tip was $85. Given the quality of the meal served, not a value. The server was very attentive and frequently refilled my drink without asking.

I found it a little difficult to take in the HUGE menu and make a decision while standing in line, but that's just me. So we ordered, got a table sign and went to find a table. There weren't many available. Like, maybe 2. We sat. We watched some amazing looking food go by. The food was brought out, along with our coffee flight and other beverages. I had a 2-egg breakfast combo and upgraded to the Fruity Pebble French Toast. It was a huge amount of food, likely enough for 3 people. The French toast was beautiful dish and I couldn't finish it all. Once food is dropped off (wordlessly) there is no more "service." You refill your own coffee mug and bus your table when you're done. The food is imaginative and excellent. It's not really a service style I prefer outside of theme park vacations, but the food is good enough that I'll be back.
