Their menu has diminished since my last visit here. No more grilled chicken or even hot wings. The staff was friendly and the order came out quickly. I wish they had told me about any specials not listed in the menu but it's ok. No military or first responder discount here. I have only been to this location two times. Each time I ordered a three-piece meal, all white, and both times i got two thighs and a leg. The first time I wrote it off to "whatever." This visit (today), the same thing happened again. I took the time to call the restaurant and they told me that I would have to drive to their location to be able to get what I ordered That sounds reasonable, but I don't want to to drive back over there. I remember when this location opened and always had the friendliest customer service and freshest food. That was years ago and as others have posted, not so much lately. Today I stopped in expecting the same mediocre service and food, but was greeted 5 seconds after waking in, order was taken quickly and food was ready about 2 mins later. Not only was it on a plate, but it looked fresh and not simply thrown on there. It was piping hot, the potatoes had a good amount of gravy and the biscuit was soft instead of hard. Normally we write about the disappointment from visiting restaurants, but the turnaround today left me compelled to include the good. Fingers crossed this will continue and KFC will move back to a frequently visited spot. read more

I've lived in Burlington for 25 years and every time I have gone to this KFC they have either forgotten something in my order or have gotten my order wrong. Sides are never right unless you just want fries, sause is never put in your order, your drink is never right unless you just wanted Pepsi. It's like unless you order what the default options are, you're not going to get what you want, and even then things will be forgotten. Normally, I wouldn't make a big deal about such things since accidents happen, but when it happens literally every time you visit a certain location, it starts to get pretty annoying. read more

I was so excited when I saw a KFC when I was looking for lunch. I got a bit worried when I pulled up and there wasn't a single car in the drivethru and only one car parked by the store at 12:10pm. I proceeded to the drivethru anyway, in hopes it was just a fluke. I haven't been to KFC in about 5 years but remember loving the $5 fillups. I got the Chicken breast fill-up box and was so disappointed when I opened the box. They have cut the size of their chicken breasts in half! It's crazy! And the fresh baked cookies that used to be served with the box are now prepackaged choc chip cookies half the size and not enjoyable at all. The only thing that was like my past KFC experiences was the mashed potatoes. Very dissappointed in the visit. I guess the chain is trying to save money but is only killing their business. Stopped for some dinner after work. I'm traveling for work and usually KFC is an easy choice. Not this particular one. I ordered a 20 piece fill up and specifically asked for butter and honey for my biscuits. I get to the hotel and no butter and honey. I know it's a small detail, but that's the issue. It's always the small details. Last week I was here and they had no extra crispy breasts. They had me park for ten minutes and then came out to tell me they were out and didn't have any in the fryer. I had already paid for the meal so I took original just so I could go eat. I get to the hotel and there is no butter and honey, no spork to eat my Cole slaw with. Again, it's the little things. I love the chicken at KFC, but you have to "ask" for each piece of chicken. When you advertise a buffet, you shouldn't have to ASK for anything. That's why people go to the buffet in the first place. The staff could look a little happier instead of making you feel like you're imposing on them and sometimes the buffet looks a bit unkempt. KFC used to offer fried okra, squash, etc...Now, it seems it just has straight out of the can mixed vegetables. Not appealing & cold. No biscuits are ever available and if you happen to catch one up there, it's cold and hard. I've seen a huge change in service and quality in the past year. I give this location 0 stars but you have to give at least one! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! My husband and I have both been experiencing the worst bout of food poisoning in our lives! We ordered the 8 pc meal and I also ordered and ate the chicken pot pie. I had explosive diarrhea at the same time of projectile vomiting nonstop all day yesterday, and my husband has been violently throwing up nonstop within a matter of 5-10 minutes apart of each episode. I stopped by this KFC twice within the past month and had two different experiences. First time I stopped by on a Friday evening (~6-7pm). The restaurant was slow/avg busy. Only the minimum foods were on the buffet, like chicken, coleslaw, biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy and a few other KFC basics. The selection was very limited in comparison to other KFC buffet's I've been to. The staff seemed rather blah, like they didn't really care too much. The second time I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon (~1-2pm). I had a completely different experience. The staff was more friendly and accommodating. There was at least twice as many food choices include fried okra, stuffing, apple cobbler, beans, etc. along with the standard KFC basics. The selection was much more typical of other KFC buffets. This is by far the WORST KFC I have ever been to. The staff acts like they really don't want to be there. Each time I have stopped there my order is never right. Today was the last time I will go. I ordered the spicy tenders- yuck -burnt and the sauce looked like it was just slapped on. I ordered and paid for a side of coleslaw instead of a biscuit- nope got a biscuit. Mashed potatoes had no gravy, I didn't get my change back and of course as always no receipt.Severely lacking in friendliness. I should have gone with my 1st choice- Firehouse Subs.
