Whelp. Food poisoning alert. We have usually had good experiences until last night. 1.The restaurant was filthy - trash on floors, drink dispensers sticky and not wiped clean, restrooms without supplies and trash everywhere. Tons of staff on duty but no one was tending to keeping a clean store. 2. They were slammed, to their credit, but I think at the risk of food safety. Orange chicken or teriyaki chicken are the likely culprit as I am ok but my fiancé has been hit hard. Food is generally good but they undercook the veggies because they put them on the steam table where they continue to cook. So if you are getting a fresh batch of food, some of the vegetables will be almost raw which is what I got with my chicken and mushroom order. I went to get some food for my kids yesterday evening. Every time I go to Greensboro, I stop to get some food. Yesterday was no exception. I went to the front of the line and an employee was cleaning the counter around the trays when I saw the end of the wiping rag go into the rice tray over and over. The shift leader or manager not sure what she was. She greets me and I tell her I'm just looking at the rag going into the rice tray while he's cleaning. She saw it and her demeanor changed. I guess she got upset that I pointed that out cause her politeness vanished, she yanked the tray and replaced it with a new batch. I decided not to get rice this time. Neither the employee stop cleaning nor she said anything to him. Makes me feel that this is normal. Panda express cub meals are absolutely amazing and the perfect size meal when you want to enjoy Chinese with the kids without breaking the bank. We did have an order with one of the kids meals(they forgot the chicken) but it was easily rectified by just driving back up there(it was an uber delivery order) the cub meals were delicious and came with 2 sides an entree, a drink and apple crisp.
