The sauce they serve is more of a barbecue style sauce, and while it worked, I personally didn't love it enough for it to carry all the flavor. The sides were a mixed bag. The collard greens were really good and definitely one of the highlights. The coleslaw, though, was way too pepper heavy for my taste. Also, the piece of bread that comes with the meal was honestly not worth the calories. I'd rather see them either upgrade the bread or skip it altogether. One unexpected highlight was the pebble ice from the drink machine. Small detail, but it was awesome and definitely appreciated. Overall, I'd come back and try some different sides because the chicken itself is worth returning for. To make matters worse, when we asked about the delay, we were told the wait was an hour--contradicting the original 30-minute estimate. To top it off, the food itself was disappointing. This entire situation could have easily been avoided if the staff had simply confirmed my contact information properly.
