Probably the last straw with me for the Claremore location. Enter the empty of customers restaurant at around 5:00 on a Wednesday. Door chime makes all kinds of racket announcing someone has entered. I stand at the counter for no less than five minutes while a couple people move about the kitchen area occasionally coming up towards the front counter - they see that I'm standing there and completely ignore me. After five minutes more people enter, making even more noise. Nothing from the employees. I gave up and left. This is not the first time this has happened. Came here on May 31, 2025 at 8:29pm. Terrible service. My total was $10.40, gave the kid $20.50 and apparently that simple transaction completey overloaded his Gen Z brain. He tried to give me the 50 cents back, I explained gently "no, you'll give me $10.10 back I don't want a bunch of singles". Totally overwhelmed this kid I guess. I showed him the VERY simple math on my phone and he still didn't get it. Total dummy. Never again. For goodness sake just put what's handed to you in the computer and learn some simple math. If I could give it a zero star then I would. I've been here three times in the past few months and previously a few times in the past few years. I quite going a couple of years ago because of bad food. My past few experiences under the new management is the first time great food and service from the manager and team, fresh food. However, the past two experiences was not good. Missing items from orders, the previous time coleslaw was missing. Yesterday, I simply ordered the 8 piece Fill up+ 8 pc. Tenders in the online app. I went in got the bag got home, no tenders in the bag. I then called the store and asked to speak to the manager on duty and the reply was a rude "I am the manager on duty", I then asked for her name and she rudely replied "first what's your name" and "what do you need". I told her that I got home and was missing half of my chicken. She rudely well next time you are in, I'll write your name down and you can get it then. I said no ma'am, my wife will be on her way, we need the other half today to feed everyone dinner. I asked for her name again and she rudely replied and hung up the phone. When my wife went to pick up the missing tenders she was treated with disrespect and rude, childish behavior. It's not about the food at this point, it's about the unprovoked, unprofessional, disrespectful behavior that this associate gave. She was even laughing about her rude behavior in front of my wife, trying to impress her teammates. This is the way you're going to lead your team to treat your customers then I will never step foot in this place again. I Would think twice if I was you, before you waste your money at this location. A place at the bottom of receipt states your meal was packed double-checked by and has no signature because they would rather treat their customers rudely then to double check your order and give a name, or be responsible and accurate. We moved here from Colorado a few months ago, and loved KFC. We went to this one and was totally disappointed, one was they didn't have any paper boxes so they put our biscuits and brownies in the white to go bags. Second was our 12 piece chicken was actually one giant piece of chicken that was under cooked and almost raw in the center. Very disappointing and we will not be going back. read more

This place has horrible customer service. The employees aren't even wearing KFC shirts. Went at 7:00pm for dinner and had to wait 15 minutes for a biscuit. After 15 minutes, we went in to check on our food and the guy completely forgot we were waiting outside. By the time we got our food, it was cold. Went to KFC on a Saturday night at about 7:20pm, ordered 2, 16 piece dark meat only. Was told by (manager I believe) that they could not fill my order due to their last call being at 7 and he would not be able to make the chicken for me. I thought that was weird because they don't close until 10pm which I challenged him and brought this up. He continued to tell me their last call is at 7 and would not give me what I asked. I walked out of there and took my business somewhere else, will not be returning to this KFC. Lazy workers, was about to spend over $100 on my order but being that it was 7:30, he had decided to shut down for the night even though their closing time is 10pm. This is easily one of the worst KFC's I've ever been to and that's saying something! The girl doing drive thru was very rude and talked to me like I was dumb when I asked if the nuggets were in the bag. Turns out they weren't! When I got home I called five different times and no answer which shouldn't be too surprising. The food was stale and when I said I'd wait for some more extra crispy to be ready she said "there won't be any ready for awhile". So not only was the service terrible, food terrible, missing food, and they didn't answer the phone but they don't do military discounts at this location! Usually the KFC isn't so bad here, food wise anyway. My husband and I often get KFC drivethru for our Sunday afternoon meal and I must say, it's usually delicious. Today, it was completely inedible. All the food was super overcooked, dry, and withered. I couldn't even bite my sandwich. it was so hard! The fries were like eating tree bark. I placed and paid for my order online expecting that it would be ready when I got there. Mind you I placed the order at 11:30 a.m. for a 3:30 p.m. pickup. Buyer beware !!!...This is a franchise restaurant and they do not offer everything you see advertised by the corporate store !!! Went thru the drive thru on 8/14/2018 and ordered the breast/wing $5 fill up. Instead of telling me they did not offer that particular item the person preceded with the order. When I got my food I looked in the box and was missing the cookie. The girl at the window gave me a cookie and I preceded to leave. I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged $7.09+tax for the meal. I pulled up the promo on my phone and went inside to show the manager. Came to Claremore for work and had a craving for some chicken. I tried this KFC location and food was great. I got a bucket because I like to keep extra chicken to snack on at night; chicken were fresh & hot. Service was very friendly and even though there was a line, things went pretty quick. I haven't liked KFC food for years and my opinion didn't change on this trip. We only went there because I had two of my grandsons with us and this was something they could agree on. I gave it three stars because the lady running the place the evening we were there was great.
