My daughter's and I came through the drive-thru. There was a pregnant young lady who took our order who was polite. Up on arriving to the window to pay for my food. They had just added fried pickles to the menu. There was a lady. let me give you a description: she was African-American, about 5 ft 7 in tall, she had a long ponytail, a black halter top with her back completely out, she had on some really colorful pants. I wasn't sure if she even worked there. She was cursing about the fried pickles that I ordered. Saying that they added them to the menu and nobody told them anything. I paid $3.39 for 10 fried slices of pickles. I also purchased a meal for $25.99 with a coupon. my advice is don't go!!!!!! I was shocked, and mortified. The way they spoke and dressed while at work was shocking!!! I am 45 years I have lived here in Columbia pretty much all my life. I will never go back to Clark Lane KFC ever! This restaurant really isn't good. While waiting over 20 minutes for my meal that you have to order on a kiosk, I saw an employee drop the boxes the meals go in. He scooped up the boxes off the floor using his shoes for help. He then put the boxes with the clean boxes. He didn't change his gloves because he didn't wear any, ever. I do not recommend this location. The team members were rude, inattentive, and I'm pretty sure dishonest . I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a famous bowl (without gravy). We waited in the drive through a few minutes before being told to pull forward and wait for our food (as we were told our breasts were being cooked fresh). We were NOT told there would be a wait. We placed our order at 5:08. At 5:28, I went inside and asked about our order. I was told the chicken had another six minutes to cook. I went back to the car. At 5:35, there was no sign of our food. I went inside and asked how long it took to cook a chicken breast. The female team member (who had told me the breasts had another six minutes) informed me she didn't know. Her counterpart laughed and responded "about thirty minutes." They proceeded to ignore me until the food was finished. I left the restaurant at 5:42, 34 minutes after I had placed this "fast" food order. In addition, I had asked for no gravy on my bowl, so I was extremely disappointed to find there was indeed gravy on my bowl. This is the third time I've attempted to visit this location just to try the spicy chicken sandwich. The first two times I was told they were out of spicy chicken. This time, they did have the spicy chicken but I regrettably had to wait almost 40 minutes for the food. The food is fine, but the customer service is absolutely atrocious. read more

The 3 workers there just sat outside smoking and said to cancel the order ourselves which isn't possible. Could only call a help number with no one working it. Because of the COVID thing going one. I used the drive thru. I ordered the combo number 3 which is the three piece chicken meal but when I got home, there was only two pieces. The staff are not wearing any masks or sanitary gloves as recommended by CDC and which is also on the KFC corporate website. We brought chicken to take home. when we arrived home. the chicken was a dark brown almost black, very dry and hard. We were unable to eat the chicken we throw it away. The chicken was either over cooked or left under the heat lights to long. I'm not sure it would have been safe to eat this chicken. I will not return to this KFC.
