If I could give 0 stars, I would. Says it closes at 11, i went at 10:30 and sat at the drive thru waiting for someone to acknowledge i was there but no one said a thing. I drove around again and noticed a worker sitting and on his phone and didn't have a headset on or anything. I went back up to the window thinking maybe he was doing something the first time and yet again, i waited and waited and no one took our order. As i drove away, i saw him in the same spot on his phone. I don't understand how people can just choose when they want to stop working even though it's not even closed yet. So unprofessional and selfish. That worker is a horrible excuse for an employee. Really disappointing. read more

We use to love KFC! The food was always delicious and a real family treat. The last few visits have not been good..Whoever is in upper management needs to step up and straighten things out. I waited at the drive thru for easily 15 minutes last night and was told they could not take my order until they were "caught up" I was told they were working with a short staff of only 3 people. That really stinks for the 3 employees trying to handle a dinner rush! When my order was finally taken I was told "nope, no extra crispy chicken...I said ok original will have to do. I ordered a 10 piece with 2 mashed potato sides. When I got home my bucket only had 8 pieces.. Not cool for the amount of people I was serving. I ended up with a wing. The gravy containers were not even half full . This was so disappointing! The KFC in Cortland will not survive if this poor service continues. This JFC can be hit or miss. Sometimes the good is exactly what one would expect from a KFC and other times it is bad. Service is the same way. Sometimes it is quick and other times it is slower than molasses. read more

This is the 4th time I have ordered online for quick pickup, and every time I order about an hr in advance, and when I arrive, I'm lucky to get out within a half hour. This time I ordered around 3 pm, and set quick pickup for 4:15, arrived, was told that it would be about 25 minutes because chicken just went down. Mind you the order was 135.00. I e found no owner phone number listed anywhere in the store. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, no response, and they disappeared. Love the food, but the quick pickup is a joke! And they offer no apologies or anything. But the employees seem to have a great time joking instead of working. read more

Ordered drive through. Ordered two big boxes and wanted different sides per box and was immediately told that we only get one side and I said the big box meals? She said yes fries. I said the big box comes with two sides a biscuit and a drink. Then she said yes coleslaw and fries I said I want different sides one being mash potatoes. So we ordered one big box with fries and coleslaw and one with mash and fries for my lunch tomorrow. She repeats it back with macaroni and at this point I just agree.. pretty sad when you order food and they argue with you about what it comes with and it specifies on the board. Get to window check food and no biscuits.. horrible horrible service and they do not check orders. Don't recommend it and also very rude to customers. read more

Traveling home from Niagara Falls, I thought I would stop at this KFC, as I had a hunkering for their chicken. I walked in, taking a look at the offerings, deciding what I would get. There was a man ahead of me placing his order. I have no idea how many workers were on for the shift, but the guy manning the order/payment station left that to go help put together some orders. I waited and waited and waited. No one ever greeted me or said, "I'll be with you in a few." If someone had done that, I would have willingly waited because I knew they knew I was there. So, I walked out and KFC lost a customer that shift. I went someplace else. read more

I ordered a 14-piece original recipe with a large side of cole slaw. This was today at 3:00 p.m. on August 7th, 2022. The girl at the drive-thru was extremely nice. As for the food I received??? HORRIBLE! This chicken WAS NOT COOKED TODAY! The coating was hard and very dark. The chicken itself was dry as Death Valley!! The coleslaw was excellent! It's sad to have to pay over $21 for day-old chicken! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN! This location was in Cortland, New York. read more

This has to be the worst KFC in the country. About three months ago we ordered a 21 piece bucket that contained 18 pieces. Tonight I went there and ordered two pot pies. Was told they only had one. How does KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN run out of CHICKEN!!?? I've been to this KFC many times, and I dunno if its becuase its in Central Cortland, nowhere near a highway, or the place is extremely busy. The reason I say this is because they've ran out of biscutis, and another time FRIED CHICKEN. How do you run out of chicken? The place is also, extremely dirty, with crums scattered on the table, and the chicken is always, Too Crunchy and too fried. Would not recommend KFC here in Cortland, if you want chicken in Cortland, go to A&W down the street (on a Thursday) for their Chubby Chicken. read more

KFC chicken is like no other and you either love it or hate it. I LOVE it (but my cardiologist tells me I should hate it) and buy it a few times a year (to hell with the cardiologist) and would give the food 5 stars, BUT ... the staff is more often than not incompetent and fairly often gets my order wrong. read more
