We ordered a large pizza half pepperoni, half pepperoni, ham, sausage, with extra cheese and LITE sauce. When we picked up the order, the lady stated what pizza it was and everything looked good. Come to find out, when we got home and sat to eat, we both took a bite of our pizza and THERE WAS NO SAUCE. I didnt know ordering a pizza with lite sauce meant it was so lite its non-existent. Picture of the receipt shows I specifically said "lite sauce", not "no sauce". And on top of that, the just pepperoni side of the pizza had sausage on it too, and I didnt order it that way but i dealt with it. The pizza would have been phenomenal if it just had the sauce on it. This is the second time we have ordered from here and the experience has been great except for this issue. The charbroiled wings were the best part of this order. Pudgie's, we're disappointed in you guys!! Service is always great, just make sure you read and make the pizza correctly according to how its ordered! read more

I called, and the owner (or maybe his son) showed up right away with fresh boneless wings and wouldn't even take the others back. The food was great and the customer service was even better. I've been going to here forever they have the best chicken wings in Cortland N.Y. Their Stromboli and cheeseburger sub are also one of my family's favorites. The employees are always great. You can order online or call if you don't want to dine in. They still deliver to just a great place with good food. read more

I grew up in Cortland coming to Pudgie's and when I came home to visit after not having Pudgie's for years, I was so excited. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick it up and next thing I know I'm met with terrible employees tossing angry "F"-bombs everywhere, slamming doors in the kitchen, saying how awful the place and management was, degrading customers and what they order IN FRONT OF THEM and OTHER CUSTOMERS, and the grossest part was the guy doing the drive-through is going around touching money, the register, food...not washing his hands or changing gloves! Once I got home and unwrapped my sub, I noticed they put SCRAPS of meat on my sub. 95% bread and toppings, and a few shreds of turkey. This was the WORST restaurant experience in my life, and I am so incredibly disappointed. I will never recommend anyone visit again. Really sad. read more

I grew up eating Pudgie's Pizza and now that I live out of state I've come to appreciate the magic that is the Stromboli. I've had Stromboli other places but it never compares. Pudgie's Stromboli is perfection! It's like a pizza on top of a pizza with a perfectly braided crust. Theirs comes chock full of ham, pepperoni, sausage, pizza sauce, green peppers, and lots of gooey cheese. I always pick the peppers out, but devour the rest. You can cut it with a knife and fork or just pick it up and eat it, caveman style. I've even had my parents ship me one because it's so special. The pizza here is good too. It's hand made and baked with care. It's good, but not my precious Stromboli. The wings are good too, we've started ordering them as a side. They are very meaty and they offer a variety of sauces. Pudgie's is a great option if you just want a slice or if you are feeding a large group. They have good, solid food. Obviously I recommend the Stromboli! read more

I ordered a Stromboli, turkey sub, and fires. Told 20-30 minuets. I show up 30 minuets later then have to wait another 7 minuets to get the fries. For 2.49$ and this is the what I get. Favorite sheet pizza period. The crust is the perfect crispiness-not too hard to get through, but buttery, chewy and crispy at the same time. Last visit we got a full sheet: 1/2 plain and 1/2 mushroom and pepperoni. It was perfect! I also really like how the pepperoni is slightly spicy. Lots of flavor! read more

Sadly, Pudgies has become a "Last option" for me. I grew up at this place, so it's frustrating to watch them fail miserably as of late. I think the owners have lost interest or are considering retirement. Whether it's the long waits for mediocre food or the ridiculous policies (can't put peppers or mushrooms on a steak sandwich, no delivery of certain items, no coupon cards on delivery, etc), it just isn't the old Pudgie's. What can I say about Pudgies. It's a local chain that I have been enjoying in this region since I was a kid. This is one of the better locations. They have an online ordering system that works flawlessly. Their delivery drivers are always friendly. The party pack should be a trademarked item. Their wings are always excellent and their sheet pizzas are always good, but the pro tip is order them with extra sauce and well done. Rarely are we ever disappointed with Pudgies. It's the go-to sheet pizza/wings in this area for us. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time because the food is good when cooked correctly. Problem is it never is. Wing orders are never correct, pizza is always wrong and worst of all the last 4 times when picking up, they forgot to place the order so I had to wait 25-40 minutes each time on top of the 35 minutes I waited from place of order. The staff is not courteous or respectful at all. The few times I dealt with the manager, she was apologetic but this time they refused to let us speak to a manager as well as fix their mistakes. If your planning on spending 70 dollars on a family meal that you want on time and correct, do not visit this place. read more

This establishment ruined my super bowl experience. I sat there for two and a half hours waiting for my food and nothing ever came. I called three times, they assured me that my order was coming. At no point did my order ever arrive, and if I had to give them a review I would give them a negative 20 out of 100. We ordered Pudgie burger hot sub x2. The menu said "served on a toasted roll, with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo." It was not toasted, there was no cheese, tomato, or onion. It was just burnt burger meat (gross) with lettuce and mayo on bread. Absolutely nothing like the menu description or the photo available on the website menu that includes these ingredients. One of our family's favorite place for pizza. We normally pick it up and take it home, but today we ate in. The pizza was nice and hot! We always get 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 white garlic. The garlic is not too overpowering like most places. Wings...we get traditional and mild for the sauce! Mild is the best! They now accept credit/debit cards but require proper ID. If you haven't tried them yet or in a while, call them up and order a pizza! read more

Worst experience of my life I called at 2:40 for a 5pm delivery. I called at 5:10 and asked if the delivery had left yet. Was told that it left, waited till 5:30 called back again and then I was told it had not left the building yet finally at 10 minutes of six it showed up the food was cold wings for cold I called the manager Kyle and he said they give me a $10 in house credit I have no plans on going back there so I asked if they could just put the $10 back on my credit card and he did not know how to do that I will never shop here again for any food ridiculous. read more

We ordered pizza and wings from Pudgie's while staying in Cortland on vacation. Our pizza arrived at our hotel in approx. 1 hour as was expected. The wings that we had ordered did not come with our pizza. The driver said that he had forgotten them. After another 45 minutes he showed back up with our wings. We had already eaten our pizza and put the wings in the fridge for later. When we did take them out to eat them there was only a single sauce cup of blue cheese for a double order of 20 wings. I called and spoke to a manager who would only say that "yeah, that's how they do it. You only get one sauce cup. Not even an apology for our order not coming as it should have. I don't know who was making it this week but by far the baddest one we have ever had. If reviews were about food alone this place would be top notch. You CAN NOT BEAT the nostalgia infused inside the minds of anyone locally who grew up with these party packs. They are by far the most remembered thing from any childhood birthday party, I can recall. And the food is REALLY REALLY GOOD... like beyond GOOD... I wish we could classify a new word just for this food. It's that good. So you are probably wondering why, then, would this person rate 2 stars? Well... it starts with how they treat customers. For the most part no problem. Most of the workers try really hard to do a great job. But the workers aren't the problem either. From what I can tell it is either the management or the owners. I have no doubts about their abilities, as they have been in business so long... they must be doing something right, but I wonder how much better they could be if they had accepted credit cards 10 years earlier or even now didn't make it so difficult to use credit. I will warn you now, these people are like credit Nazis. I don't know who, or at what time, some stupid customer wronged them with a credit card... but it is BLATANTLY apparent that they don't like accepting credit, and are only doing it because, basically, the world today demands it. You MUST buy more than $10... you MUST have ID. Absolutely no exceptions. They will repeatedly let you know this. And if by chance you happen to leave your Drivers License at your child's school on a Friday and try to order on a Saturday, and talk to a manager and explain that you come in all the time, and you know about the ID thing, but you were hoping you could still order... and the Manager says ok... I can also tell you that you had better hope that same manager is there when you pick up your stuff... because some young blond haired guy (who I believe is a a child of the owner or related to the family in some way) will still give you a problem about it. Then tell you its your fault... and suggest you go get cash. All I can say is... certain blond haired punks are REALLY lucky the food is REALLY good. I have also been turned away from service because they were too busy working on a $400 order to be bothered by 2 slices (of which all I asked for was cold Pepperoni tossed on top of 2 cheese slices because they were out of Pepperoni slices) I didn't think that was huge deal and I even expected to pay the same price as a Pepperoni slice would normally be, but I was then told by the server (who sadly looked terrified to do it, for a seeming fear of getting fired.) they weren't allowed to put pepperoni on cheese slices. I get there and the Stromboli was ready but not the wings I waited there 15 mins for the wings I got home, and the Stromboli was cold and the wings weren't even hot.
