When I walked in two families were dining, a few couples waiting for their food, and a woman in line ordering. The restaurant has great natural light. I was not greeted when I walked in. The dining room was not the neatest. Customers weren't cleaning up after themselves at tables, employees weren't wiping down the tables or sweeping the floors. There were straw wrappers left by the drink station along with drink spills by customers. The women's restroom was nasty. Someone had urinated on the floor and put tissue over the mess. When I got to the register there were two middle aged men, (who were store managers, because I asked) tending to the register. They were not friendly at all. They acted as if I was invisible when standing there waiting to place my order. They never said, "Sorry for the wait. Someone will be with you shortly." or "Hello." I patiently waited and looked at the menu until a nice college aged male came and greeted me. He was friendly, kind, and patient. The receipt said his name was Zachery. I hope he was checking out under his name, because I want him to know how great he was in this experience. He had glasses, dark hair, with a shaggy haircut. He was the BEST! Thank you for being kind and having great customer service skills. Placing my order was a breeze with Zachery, even after I forgot to add something originally. I ordered two meals and an a la carte item. The first meal was a 4 piece regular chicken tenders w/jalapeño ranch, okra, mashed potatoes, and a roll. First I'd like to start this review off by saying everyone has a bad day every now and then. I have purchased food at this KFC multiple times in the last couple months and what I've always noticed is they were pretty fast with their service. Also I noticed there is somewhat of a language barrier cuz it seems a lot of people speak Spanish as their primary language and English may not be their first language. That being said I've always been treated friendly and kind and appreciate it as a customer. Today there was a lady in front of me and she was having a bad day. She was not getting the service that she felt like she needed and wanted to express her feelings to the corporate office. At the same time she was trying to run off the customers that were in the building and I felt the staff held their composure very well and did not get disrespectful towards the customer at least while I was there and the lady left the building right before I ordered my food. I placed my order and got service that I needed without any problem or any anger from the employee who had already been in the situation before time. This gets a kudos from me because a lot of people might have had an issue with how the other customer was talking to them and they held their composure very well. I truly appreciate this type of customer service. Because if they had done anything negative I may have never come back to this KFC again and might have been discouraged from going to another KFC and not eating this delicious chicken .
