These are the new wings that KFC is advertising currently. This is freshly pulled batch at around 12 noon today. .

They are over cooked and taste charred; other customers in dining room agreed and another guy was walking in to bring his food back. The customer service response that even if a new batch was cooked it would be the same. On top of that there was an 8-year old girl behind the counter asking to take customer's orders...the store was not neat and clean, nor were the uniforms...be warned

management/corporate. please for the love of god do something about the quality of the food at this location. this is absolutely disgusting!!!! this tiny piece of chicken is not a wing. the chicken breast is missing skin in my order!!!! i dont know what it is!!!! this kfc needs a rework. please avoid this restaurant until they get a proper management who actually care for their customer. years of bad reviews and nothing at the location has changed the slightest!!!!

I recently tried the fried strips and mac & cheese and really enjoyed both. Everything was packaged well and still hot when we got home about 10 minutes later. The dining area was noticeably dirty, with multiple tables covered in visible crumbs, food, and trash, even though it wasn't busy. It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and honestly pretty off-putting while trying to eat. This hasn't been the cleanest location on past visits but because we've been in hospitality we've tried to give some grace and have come back again, but it was especially noticeable this time. Food was mixed - the tenders were fine, but the nachos were much lighter on toppings than usual and the jalapeños, onion, and lettuce were very roughly chopped to the point I ended up picking a lot of it out. I also found a bone in my chicken, which was concerning because it was a good size. Hoping this was just an off day, but the cleanliness is something that really needs attention. For now, we might be changing up locations if we're craving Waldo's chicken.

This is another one of the meat + 3 places that show up on all the places to try when in the area. My wife had the mild chicken tenders with black eyed peas and mac & cheese. She loved her food and the black eyed peas preparation (traditional with pepper vinegar). I had the fried chicken and dressing with gravy and the green beans. I loved the fried chicken. Done right. I didn't like the dressing as it was bland and mushy. Not flavorful at all. The green beans were decent. Our counter server was surly and didn't seem happy to be there so they lose a star for that. This spot was busy, even around 11am on a weekday! The staff was hustling to get through the line and we didn't wait long to order. The employees here were friendly and welcoming. We chose to take our food home, but there are tables if you prefer to dine in. Normally, I'd be a little worried about food safety with a cafeteria line. This spot is so busy and fresh food was constantly being put out on the line. It didn't look like any of the food was sitting for long. The meats and sides rotate by the day. The offerings by day are listed on their website. Plates can be ordered as meat only or meat plus one, two, or three sides. Veggies plates are an option. They even have a family meal option. Cobblers and pies are available for dessert. I would rate the food quality and taste at 3/5. The portions are generous for the price which is why I bumped to a 4/5. It's decent enough for a large, cheap meal. The Fried Chicken was good. It's not the best I've had, but good if you want something quick. The Chicken and Dumplings was good, a little on the soupier side. The sides were my favorite part. The Carrot Soufflé was my favorite with a sugary topping. The Squash Casserole had a nice taste. The Mashed Potatoes were creamy and buttery. The Green Beans had a nice texture and taste. Nothing here is going to be heavily seasoned, just simple flavors. The Pecan Pie was really good. I liked the crust and the flavor of the filling. The Banana Pudding was good, but not the best we've had. This is one of the few spots you'll still be able to get inexpensive takeout. A basic meal without breaking the bank!

The decor is rock n roll with personalized wallpaper of beer brands renamed to honor the chicken (see photo). The service was great. He took our order and answered our questions. This place is definitely not cracking my Top 25 places to eat in Franklin. But on a rainy Wednesday…read morenight, when the refrigerator is emptier than a college dorm room, this place will absolutely deliver some good old-fashioned comfort food. Walking in here is also a reminder that... I might be getting a little older. You know you're old when you look around the dining room and realize half the "decorations" are things you actually grew up using. I'm pretty sure my grandmother had three of those items in her kitchen. Back in the day they used to bring biscuits to the table immediately. Boom. Biscuit drop within 30 seconds. Now they wait until your food comes out. Honestly, that's probably a smart move. Their biscuits are pretty darn good, and there were many younger versions of me that would've eaten so many biscuits that my entrée would've needed a to-go box before I even started. For dinner I ordered the fried catfish, which was lightly breaded and cooked just right. Not greasy, not overdone just good Southern comfort. My sides were loaded hash browns and corn, which fit the rainy-day comfort food theme perfectly. My wife ordered the vegetable plate, and she really liked it... which is impressive. Service was good, although our waiter wasn't exactly hovering. In fact, my water glass stayed empty long enough that I briefly considered sending out a search party. After we finished eating, my wife did what wives do in this place, she wandered into the gift shop to "just look." If you've ever been here, you know that can be dangerous. Fortunately, she didn't find anything she absolutely had to have, which saved me about $47 in decorative rooster merchandise. Checkout took a little longer than expected due to some register confusion, so I stood there for about five minutes reflecting on life... and wondering how a place that sells this many biscuits can't move a checkout line faster. All that said, if it's a rainy day and you're craving some good comfort food, this place will do the trick.

I ordered 2 gyro sandweech (spelt that way on purpose) and 1 white meat chicken sandweech (all had same toppings) with a side of white sauce and an herb sauce. I did a build your own, which allowed you to choose which toppings you wanted. I also got them toasted, but there is a name for the process that makes them toastier. Just ask for it to be extra toasty, they'll know what to do. My toppings: protein of choice, feta, lettuce, onion, tomato, Mediterranean ranch, black olives, rice, and tabbouleh! It looks small from the outside but, there is seating within for you to actually enjoy the experience of eating in. I must say I enjoyed the white chicken sandweech a lot more than the gyro. The chicken was seasoned so well to where it elevated the entire wrap. Will most definitely get the white meat chicken again. Gyro 4/5 Chicken 10/5 lol For all 3 wraps and the two side 2oz sauces, I paid $48. I guess I should've paid attention to the pricing, but it's devoured now.
