I have lived in the area for over three years and had never been to this KFC until tonight. I decided to stop in for a quick dinner, but unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with the service. The employee taking my order, Damien, seemed very rushed and kept trying to hurry me along. When I pulled up to the window, he acted as if I was bothering him and continued to rush me. When I asked for his name, he told me to look at the receipt. I explained that I hadn't been given one, and when I requested it, he rolled his eyes, grabbed it off the register, and handed it to me. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant. Avoid Cotton and Yuma KFC if you value your health. These people do not care about food safety standards. It wasn't just once that I saw what I saw but multiple times. I gave 1 star because it doesn't allow 0 or negative stars. I placed an online order for pickup and arrived shortly AFTER the app told me my food would be ready. To my surprise, not only was my food not ready but it took the young lady working there over 5 minutes to even acknowledge my presence. Then it took 20 minutes to bring me my food. I've always liked KFC and there original chicken but seems as of late that it is a lot greasier so I ended up getting the chicken sandwich and I will say it is one of my favorite now , there pickles are nice and thick and the flavor and size of the chicken is good . It sometimes does take a long time to get through the drive thru line so you may want to just go inside and order real quick , I would also say get a side of coleslaw and put it on your sandwich it is amazing. read more

The current manager needs to be fired and replaced with someone who has experience and knows something about customer service. This all starts at the top and if he is training his employees about good customer service, then maybe the employees will move a little faster, have a sense of urgency and get the food to the customers as quickly as possible! When you go to the drive, there is no one in front of you, yet it takes about 15 mins to pick up your food. When you try to order in the lobby, they see you waiting, but they don't take your order until you have to say something. So we we're running off to an event and wanted a quick snack. We'll this week I was bombarded with the KFC ads for snack wraps. So I downloaded the the app to get the deal by the time I completed and hit place order we pulled up in parking lot. There were 2 cars in drive through and one other person in the dining room. I went straight to the counter hoping to catch someone before they started our order because the app would not allow me to click on the classic. I stood at the counter probably 5 minutes, I only noticed 2 people working ( maybe that was the issue) so we were not acknowledged. Finally someone walked around the corner and I told her about order and how it wouldn't let us choose, she said she would make. Here is the bad part, while standing at the counter waiting I pretty much lost my appetite. The prep area was filthy, floor had Food containers, trash etc everywhere, looked like a tornado went through it. I felt bad for the staff because they were obviously running ragged but I could see because of this the odds of cross contamination were high. Oh man this location is rough .... I was the second person in drive thru ..the person ahead of me took about 10 min to place order I was initially frustrated with that person lol but then got to my turn and realized it wasn't her it was the damn person taking orders lol so wait about 10 min the kid gets on and says "hello" and I said "hi I'd like to or..." the kids says "oh shiii..."then sounds like he dropped the headset and gets back on and says "what do you want to order" So I shake that off like ok whatever ..I'd like to order the chicken and waffles combo ...he asks what drink then I told him I wanted a Pepsi and for the side I'd like a mash potato ...he says ...oh no the combo comes with cherry poppers and a Pepsi and I said no the sign right here says I can make a combo with a ind side and a drink ...he's like sorry we can't do that ...ummm the sign right here in my face says I can make it a combo for $10 ...which is what I'd like to do after a few min of back and fourth he says oh ok So then I order a second meal of the 4 pc chicken regular with mash potato and a large drink and a jalapeño So pull forward the lady who was in front of me was still there at the window ...after a few min the kid pops out and tells her to pull forward ...(I would of left if I was her and was tempted to leave myself but my daughter wanted the waffle ...soooo we get to the window they don't come for about 5 min or so ...he finally gets to the window and says what were you waiting for so I repeated the order he pulls out the card machine and says "here...." he wanted me to tap my card so I asked him can you tell me what the total is first?! This is such a poorly run store. It is HORRIBLE. The wait is long and the food is made with NO F's at all. Since this store opened, it has been plagued with problems. It is a beautiful new store. If you go on the Nextdoor app, you can see many. many posts about this location in Goodyear, AZ and other locations in the area that are not positive. Unfortunately, I would venture to say that this is the worst managed KFC I have ever been to in my life. The customer experiences and the level of disrespect the customers have had to endure in addition to the lack of order accuracy, quality of food, or even inventory of food is absolutely incredible. Even today, 29 Dec 2022, on the web site for KFC at this location they are hiring for these positions: "4 Job Openings At 16980 W. I always hate to post a bad review because so many people rely on business to make a living and feed their families but this one is a must. My wife went to the drive-through today to buy some food for some friends of ours and the so-called manager , Breezy, in the drive-through had asked my wife to move into a another spot and my wife said why can't I stay here there's nobody behind me and I don't want to go in the sun and the lady said because I said so and my wife said but there's nobody behind me when somebody comes behind me then I'll move why should I have to move and she said because I'm telling you to and she said no I'll just stay here and if somebody comes behind me then I will move. And my wife said you know for somebody in the Foodservice business you're being pretty rude and Breezy said she didn't care and my wife said you shouldn't be in this in the service business then she said I don't care. She asked if there was a manager to speak to and she said we don't have a manager. When my wife asked for her name she said I don't have to give it to you and my wife said, OK got her got her food and moved on. So a couple hours later on my way home from work I went into speak to a manager and I stood at the counter for a good 3-4 minutes while four people in the back just did whatever it was they were doing and ignored me. Then a new girl clocked in and the same girl who gave my wife poor Customer Service told her to give me this big bag of food obviously not knowing who I was, and when she handed me the food and the two drinks I told the girl wow that's awesome I get a bunch of food and I haven't paid for anything yet. The girl looked shocked and then put the food away and asked how can I help you. I asked to speak to a manager and the same girl my wife spoke to came up and said how can I help you and I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes and and I asked her about my wife going in the drive-through and how she could speak to her the way she did when nobody was behind her and she did not want to go park in the hot sun she said I remember your wife and that's none of your business I didn't speak to you I spoke to her. I said that's a terrible attitude and she said she didn't care and I told her I would file a complaint against her she told me go right ahead I won't get fired anyway and I asked her her name and she refused to give me her name and said my name is on the receipt and I said fine. I said we will see about you having a job she said fine I'm not going to get fired anyway. It's a sad day when a company who has been in business as long as Kentucky fried chicken hires these people who have no right to be the face of their company because they provide poor customer service. As long as this young lady is at that store I will never ever buy anything from them again. My wife spent $40 today on food to take to our sick friends and had to put up with that type of attitude.
