We went thru the drive thru of store 766 in Goodyear AZ.. we love the food, but continue to be dissapointed by the service. My wife had allergies, so we are always careful to explain the allergy alerts. The young man raking the order seemed bothered by the extra precautions we voiced. I'd also like to point out that we understand that we went thru on Valentine's Day, so we expected a long line, but from the time of arrival, about 6:45, to the time we departed, 7:30, it was a 45 minute process, that's excessive.. we also drive 25 Minutes each way, so we are at almost two hours total trip. So you should understand my anger that for the second time in a row, there were problems with our order. We always order two extra beef patty's with no seasoning as a treat for our puppies.. we had them wait until we got home to give them their Pattie's, so we got home and either Patty was there. Calculating each, they are about $2.60 each patty.. Then we discover that the extra cheese sauce we were charged for was nowhere to be found, so there's another $2.50. On top of all that, we specifically asked for the allergy order to be seperate, and it wasn't, so my wife's fried had to be thrown out, there's another $5 I wasn't going to drive another 25 minutes to get these items, especially on valentines Night, so I called the 623-322-3544 number to speak to a manager.. I called once at 8:14pm to find it ring and ring and ring until I finally hung up.. I then called back at 8:23, someone answered, I said I needed to speak to a manager, I was then placed on hold.. at 8:27 o finally hung up and decided to take to twitter, Facebook, and Yelp to voice my frustrations, because this is totally unacceptable, when the total of our meal was over $50. read more

Also, the crinkle- cut fries (when done well) are some of the best fries in the game. I think Culvers is great, but the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is SO much better in the Midwest. Enough for 2 of us and we didn't finish them all. Gwen i believe her name was fabulous. I told ger it was my first time at Culvers so it would be a minute till i was ready to order. Food was hot and fresh when I received it. The service at the drive-through window was wonderful. The wait time, however, was less than desirable. The staff member that brought my food out to the car was courteous and professional. I had requested mayonnaise and pickle only on my grilled chicken sandwich and received two pickles which was less than preferred, next time I will ask for extra pickles to ensure that nearly every bite can have some pickle in it. This Culver's is generally good, but sometimes things don't go so smoothly. I ordered some ice cream, and the guy in the picture gave me a number, so I sat down at my table and waited... for at least 20 minutes. Nothing ever came. I went up to the counter and asked if they had my order, and he said, "What order?" I showed him my receipt, and it turns out the ice cream wasn't even in the system. Quick visit to share a burger with the hubster. We ordered a Deluxe Double Butterburger, and we always have them cut it in half. (Even when having am entire burger to ourselves... easier to eat. Great service as always, they even brewed a fresh pot of coffee for us. Btw, if you're not aware, they have REALLY GOOD coffee!! We did not know this until after about four years of visiting. This location is great: clean, fast, superb service most every time. We are big fans of the company and love their business model and values. We used to enjoy this Culver's but not anymore. We usually take our order to go. The past few times something is always missing from the bag or if you order a salad inevitably a few ingredients that should be in it are not. We actually say to each other I hope they got it right this time. When you call to let them know they say we'll send you a coupon. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. That still doesn't make up for the inconvenience. The older lady who finally took the order messed it up and marked it served when we ordered it. Finally asked if they could help and we asked for a manager. They had a difficult time finding the manager. After he came out and said that the order had not been started yet (45 minutes at this point) he never apologized for the mix up, offered two small custards for the delay. This place has gotten cheap and decided to charge 50 cents on top of their already-expensive prices. This means if you order onion rings, you'll have to pay for any dipping sauces. If you need sauces after an incredibly long amount of time waiting for them to bring out your food, they'll gladly take your credit card back to the register and charge you the 50 cents. Completely tacky. There are other ways to cut corners to save money. This is a completely off-putting way. There are plenty of other fast food places right next to Culver's. . read more
