This is a great KFC. Been here twice, and it was excellent both times, they got my order perfect and fast both times, and here is something I loved - they included both honey and butter packets for the biscuits without me having to ask!! THANK YOU. That is called being thorough and I appreciate that. I moved here from the Bay Area and it's been years since anyone at a KFC over there included the proper things with the order, and/or managed to get it right. I'd have to rummage through the bag like a hungry badger hoping for no mistakes while tying up the drive through line. So this place is primo just for that alone. Now, I do have a gripe though, and I hope the manager reads this. Why oh why do you not have grilled chicken here? And no green beans or baked beans sides? What's up with that? Grilled has been on the KFC menu for years and is a great healthy option! Please bring those things back. The last 4 times we bought 12 pcs & 16 pcs meals, they ALWAYS short us on some things. One time they gave us 14 pcs on 16 pcs meals (short 2 breasts). The two times before that they short us on the side dish. We had to go back to get the rest of our meals. A few days ago we bought 12 pcs meal. We were supposed to get 3 pcs each of drum sticks, wing, thighs & breasts. What we got was 3 drum sticks, 3 wings, 5 thighs & 1 breast . We didn't come back because we didn't find that out until the next day. One or two times mistakes is understandable, but 4 times in a row? That's unacceptable! read more

0 star service should be negative I've never seen such an utter lack of care or customer avoidance the only thing these incompetent kids could think about was closing and this was an hour before closing. No one acknowledged me or the other 2 customers for 5-10 minutes they just kept walking by or working on whatever or should I say looking like they were working on something and doing anything they could to not acknowledge the customers or do anything productive like make the orders. Finally ended up getting help from someone in the back after 10 minutes or so and getting my order after another 20 minutes. Hubby and I went through the drive though around 1:30 after a medical appointment. We got the $40 meal deal and some extra sides. Oh my goodness, the original recipe chicken was delicious and hot, the biscuits were so yummy and flaky, and those mash taters were as good as I remember. I just had the worst experience at KFC in Grants Pass, OR. My son had just got out of surgery and we were in a hurry to get home, before his pain meds wore off. His favorite food is KFC, so I decided to try the app, thinking it was quicker. The time listed for it to be ready was 7:25 pm. It was not ready at that time. The kid at the drive up asked me nicely to please pull to the other side and come into the restaurant. I explained that I did not want to come in because I didn't want to leave my kiddo alone. The kid asked the manager if they could bring it out to us, and the manager said no. I joked with him saying that I'd need something free for my trouble. I did as requested, and waited another 10 minutes inside the restaurant. No one acknowledged me standing at the counter until the food was done. I asked the manager why there is a big sign, like 3 feet tall, in the lobby saying, "Mobile Orders....just ask and we'll bring your order to you." He said that they only bring the food to that sign. I told him that I was going to need his name so I could talk with corporate about this. He said, "It's Garland...it says right here on my hat." There was nothing on his hat but the KFC logo. He sarcastically told me to have a nice day and walked away. I then proceeded to check my order to see if they got that right. Nope. It was missing the fries. Garland offered no apology, he didn't try to make things right in any way. This guy just lost you a customer who used to come in at least 3 times a week. I just got back from Kentucky Fried Chicken in Grants Pass, Oregon. I ordered a Number 3 combo which was supposed to have two chicken breast, a drumstick, mashed potatoes, a biscuit and a drink for $9.89. I explained to the girl at the ordering box that I wanted to make sure I had two chicken breast and she said, "yes this comes with two chicken breast and a drumstick". When I got home to warm it up on a plate, this is what it looked like. Nothing like what the woman quoted me. This was not for me and I would never eat their crap, my husband was in the mood for KCF. Last three times that I went to KFC in Grants pass Oregon. The food was absolutely horrendous. I kept thinking it would get better at the second time and it was a tiny bit better maybe a little more crispy because we asked him to redo it. And the third time went in, the food was absolutely awful. We spent about $29-$30 and we got sides that were massive and terrible. I put everything in the fridge raider and nobody wanted to eat it. I didn't want to feed it to my dog cause I thought it was that bad not that I would ever feed anything bad to my dog. But it sure was a waste of money and it was really sad because it was our daughter who paid for it. She wanted to treat us and then when we got home the food sucked so I guess three times a charm. I'm never going back to KFC again. May not actually ever go to another one if there anything like the one in Grants pass. When I called in complaining, they were very sweet and kind and courteous to me, I did not ask to have anything replaced because I don't ever want to eat there again I don't recommend this to anybody. It's a waste of your money. If you want something crunchy and yummy maybe try sonic. Good luck. I have been dying for some good fried chicken for quite a while. I stopped at "another fried chicken place" where I was given two thighs for over seven dollars that were mostly bones and breading. Not awesome. Today I decided to give this KFC a try, and it was outstanding! I was able to actually walk in the restaurant, which I always prefer to drive through. The young man who helped me was very friendly and had great customer service. For $5.49 I got two big fat juicy thighs, delicious crispy seasoned french fries, a biscuit, iced tea and even a chocolate chip cookie! Total bonus on the cookie. I walked in and was the only customer at the time. Ordered a bucket of chicken and fries. They were out of chicken so it was a "5 minute wait." 20 minutes later the chicken was done. Then they realized they didn't have fries ready. That was another "5 minute wait." 25 minutes after that my order was ready. From the time I entered till the time I left it was a 45 minute wait. This review is NOT to reflect on KFC. But Yelp leaves no choices about food delivery services like DoorDash. I ordered KFC (which was fine) and had DoorDash deliver it. They overcharged me and then refused to refund my money. A bucket of chicken ended up costing over 31$!!! On my way home from work on 11/14 I stopped at the Grants Pass store to pick up dinner for my family. I asked for the $20 fill up, half original and half crispy. I was told by the boy working the drive thru that it was only available in crispy so I ordered it in crispy. He then talked to someone else (I assume someone was training him) then informed me that the crispy was not available either but I could order some chicken tenders. I waited as 8 customers behind me receives their order. I then approached the counter to ask how much longer, but the employee can't find my order. Not only is the Albertsons with the best chicken tenders I've ever had gone which makes this strip mall all the more empty: a barred and shuttered hulk of a building neighboring this tiny chicken shack, but the extremely long drive-thru line didn't seem to want to budge that Wednesday night we stopped by. They put us on hold before taking our simple order of two crispy chicken breasts and two biscuits. Grants Pass has the look and feel of a small town past its prime. One of its natives tells me it has a thriving drug problem these days which seems to validate its tired, shop-worn vibration. I love KFC. And I am in the generation that actually had Colonel Sanders himself in the commercials. So trust me, I have eaten my share (and probably others) of this chicken. This particular KFC was clean and had prompt service. I had a wonderful clerk (Jennifer) take our order. She was patient while my husband stood and slowly made up his mind on his order and even gave me our senior discount without me having to ask. What prompted the 3 star was not the accuracy of the order on the receipt. It was the incorrect items being placed in our bag to carry out. I don't like the feeling of having to unpack my items before I leave the counter. So I didn't. Perhaps the Manager could stress the importance of accuracy. This won't stop me from going back to this KFC. However I will now turn into that little old lady that unpacks her food at the counter before she repacks it and heads home. Dang. Beyond that, the Chicken is good, the baked beans seem to have gone back to the original recipe. I was NOT a huge fan of some KFC's sheading their OLD chicken and sticking it in for filler. And what can I say about the biscuit....LOVE the BISCUIT. I am not a fan of the potato's and gravy....and this is where my order went south......I ordered the coleslaw. This must have been a bad day in the chicken coop. When my wife and I entered the store it was apparent that there were problems. The KFC folks were clearly agitated by the dinner crowd that was milling about awaiting their orders. After ordering a pair of two-piece dinners and requesting breasts and drumsticks, we took a booth to await our ticket number. It was called after about ten minutes and I went to the counter to be told that I "couldn't have any "legs", or breasts, but they'd substitute thighs instead. I said "ok, anything but wings", and went back to waiting. Ten minutes later my number was called and I took the tray to our booth. The best part of the meal (s) were the biscuits and cookies. The thighs? SUPER GREASY, and mine were both half-RAW. Maybe we should have ordered Extra Crispy and they would have been cooked. Maybe not. I asked about "Tenders" and was told that it would be a LONG wait. All the KFC folk were yelling at each other about what items they were out of... Never again. Normally I don't complain. If it were just one person I would figure that they were having a bad day. BUT I did not feel that the person taking my order was really listening to me-(I ordered a #10 with 2 wings and a thigh-got 2 thighs and a leg-no wings at all).
