It was very tasty with a large portion of pork, pico de gallo, rice, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream topped with shredded lettuce and cheese. It was a lot to eat for $13. Portions are substantial and most patrons left with a box to take the remainder of their meals home. They have long hours from 7 am to 11 pm seven days a week. I noticed that they have an extensive breakfast menu too. Delivery of the food was very fast both for the dining in and drive-thru customers. One thing to note about their location. They're in the former Jack in the Box building on the corner of Cheryl Lane and Highway 99 across from the vacant Ray's Food Place in Phoenix. If you're driving from the south on Highway 99 you cannot cross the median to drive into the restaurant. You need to turn left at the light into the Ray's parking lot (or drive straight at the light into Ray's if coming from I-5), turn right and cross Cheryl Lane to get into their parking area or turn into the drive-thru for Lucy's Taco Shop. Leaving is back through the parking area to Cheryl Lane. Phoenix has a confusing interchange to get onto I-5. When you're leaving. drive past the Chevron station to turn left by the former Rite Aid to head towards the freeway entrances. Join Highway 99 in either direction from the light coming out of Ray's parking lot. It's worth the driving logistics the first time to get to Lucy's Taco Shop to support this family owned business. I know it won't be the last time I eat there!
