I have not been to KFC in a long time! I went today and got the 2 piece meal deal with mashed potatoes and a biscuit! Traded the drum stick for a breast $1 extra. I can't believe how bad the chicken has gotten! Barely any meat a lot of fat just chunks of fat so disgusting! I definitely don't recommend eating here! The potatoes and biscuit were great but for a chicken place the chicken is absolutely disgusting! And for almost $7 I got mashed potatoes and a biscuit! read more

The wife had a dinner/scheduling snafu and stopped to pick me up some chicken in a rush. She forgot I forbade her to go here. It was terrible. The oil was clearly old, AND they had been under a heat lamp for WAY too long (note the dark brown color). The meat had changed texture, including some dried out on the drumstick. I sincerely hope I don't get food poisoning. I don't understand how they remain in business. This isn't my first bad experience at this restaurant, but I'm going to try to make it my last. read more

Cookies are a crock what happened tonthe big cookies? The gal at the register tried saying the price of the K1 went up because of giving the customer mashed potatoes and gravy as well as cole slaw. Then back tracked when she miss spoke and lied about what she said instead of admitting to the mistake. She treated the customers like we were in the wrong and she didn't do anything wrong. After ordering we waited over ten minutes for two chicken sandwiches it felt like they had never made chicken before we ordered. They did give us two cookies but the cookies weren't the best ): and the sandwiches had more than double the needed mayo as if they were upset at us. I have never even been here before and thought it would be as good as I remembered. I think not. Place was slightly dirty inside (like the tables had not been cleaned from the person before us.) I can see why chic fil a is so busy and why they are putting a Popeyes in town. KFC is becoming an irrelevant brand to this generation. read more

Okay, see, I gave them a chance. I went to a second KFC as a check on myself. The last one was so miserable. Over-salted under-flavored, extra-dry chicken. Nothing at all like what we used to get from KFC. Well, this location, too, was heavy on the salt. Over-heavy, in fact. Other than the kidney-bursting salt, there was no real flavoring, certainly not the original recipe of The Colonel, who must be rolling over in his grave now, for the umpteenth time, as he does each time the Elite at KFC headquarters finds another way to cut back on costs (and flavor). I am truly saddened. I doubt there are many who remember the old A&Ws, the first MacDonald's, donuts with real oil instead of the artificial slop the government forces bakeries to use now, or the original Kentucky Friend Chicken. So the loss is only for those who remember. New generations will think the junk they eat is what the fuss was all about when those businesses started. Like the "re-educated" citizens of Airstrip One, they will have nothing to compare their downgraded super-flavorific-dishes with, so they will not realize they are being sold only the name, not the product. I joined Yelp because I'm so disappointed with the KFC near UNC. Ordered a 4 piece meal for dinner on my way home from a long day. Got home and found that the chicken was OLD and STALE...and BURNED. I think they had chicken left over from lunch and decided to recook it to save money. I just threw it all away. They also didn't include a biscuit...probably would have been stale anyways. I actually see friendly and familiar faces at this location. No high turnover. My orders are fresh and the staff care about what they do. The manager is awesome as well and will often greet you and asks how youre doing when she sees you. We will always be repeat customers. read more

I've gone here before and asked them politely could I wait for fresh chicken, they blatantly lied to me and told me the chicken was fresh and when I left it was very old chicken. Well I just left there it was 9:06 when I got there, they don't close until 10 and I had a very rude girl take my order, when I told her I wanted an 8 piece crispy she said they were out of crispy....I told her I could wait for crispy and then she sighs and says that the cook left early!!!! Sunday Evening 3/24 at 7:40 went and ordered over $35 worth of food only to witness Ezekiel drop box of food on floor and then proceed to pick it up and place it in the bag. I brought this to order takers attention (Ericka) I then spoke to a shift lead named Lexie in which she just stated sorry. I then get to my work location to realize they gave no utensils to eat with, no butter or honey for the biscuits... Ericka was the only employee that seemed to acknowledge that it was wrong on dropping food to floor and continuing to bag it up.. I'd really like a chance to talk with the Franchise Owner. read more

About 6 months ago I came to this location. I ordered 1 food item and 1 bottled drink. The ONE food item i ordered could not have been messed up more. I ordered macaroni and cheese and it was luke warm AT BEST and inedible. When I said no, she told another employee to ring me up and proceeded to tell her the wrong order..again. I again said no, she huffed off. I then placed a 30+$ order and proceeded to watch yet another employee bag up my order. I ordered 6 shrimp, she gave me 3...I ordered 3 sides, got none. When I asked, the response was "oh shit", went over and literally grabbed a handful of fries (thank god she at least had on gloves) and a container of slaw, set it on the counter and walked away. I advised that I ordered mashed n gravy, corn and slaw. She took the fries and gave me mashed and corn...no gravy....no bag...no nada.
