recently had a very disappointing experience at a KFC drive-through. I ordered the #7 meal and when I pulled up to the window to pay, I was told that the tap-to-pay system wasn't working, so I paid with cash instead. After receiving my food and leaving, I noticed the chicken was extremely dark in color and very greasy, which made it appear old or overcooked. Because of the poor quality, I called the store expecting them to simply ask me to bring the chicken back so it could be replaced. Instead, the MANAGER told me that the chicken had been coming out like that all day. There was no apology, no concern about the quality, and no effort to correct the issue. That response alone was extremely disappointing from a customer service standpoint. This situation should never have escalated over three pieces of chicken. A simple acknowledgment and offer to replace the food would have resolved everything quickly. Unfortunately, the lack of care shown by the staff has made me reconsider returning. Experiences like this are why I will likely choose competitors such as Popeyes going forward. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers receive better quality food and service. read more

I'm giving three stars because the food was hot, and half right. I DID order mashed potatoes and coleslaw so that part was right. This place is always backed up in the drive-thru, mainly because they are so slow, but since it's the only KFC nearby it continues to get business. I specifically told them I wanted all dark meat, and they gave me all white meat. My kids were really craving chicken and suggested KFC. What I hoped was a quick in and out turned out to be a 35 minute wait. The place was crazy inside, the drive through and was backing up around the building, and only after ordering and paying did I hear the words, "we are out of chicken and it will be 30+ minutes before we have any." It would have been nice to hear that before I paid and as I contemplated getting a refund and going somewhere else, I couldn't even get them to acknowledge me. The workers spent more time complaining and yelling at each other and at one point, the young gentleman who took my order tried to get the ladies attention to speak with me and she looked right at me and then back to him and said "he can wait just like everybody else." First, they changed our order from what we told them in the drive-thru. They gave us a Big Box instead of the tenders combo we asked for. Second, the chicken they gave us did not taste good. Called inside of the store at 10:44am spoke with a employee and she said they are open but they don't have no chicken ready. That would mean that you are closed.
