4 piece lunch special with spicy garlic sauce

Tried for first time and was very impressed with quality of food. There's a few seats to eat in but grand daughter wanted to eat in truck and that was fine. Chicken is really good, I got the 4 piece lunch special with spicy garlic sauce and onion rings. She got same original with waffle fries. Both were great, a bit pricey in my opinion at $35 for 2 lunch specials but good nonetheless.

We came here for dinner on a Sunday evening and it wasn't too busy. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside and 5 bar stools inside. There is also utensils, napkins, wet naps, and disposable gloves to eat the chicken which is nice. Note there is NO public bathroom here. As for food we ordered the soy garlic, honey garlic, and cheesy chicken. Soy garlic and honey garlic were absolutely delicious! The cheese one was very disappointing. It was tossed in cheese powder but had no other flavor and was underwhelmingly bland. For the price, I feel like it's pretty steep. I'm used to Korean fried chicken places including pickled radish as a side so I was disappointed about that. I think for lunch it looks to be a better deal. Also note the vending machine is 1000% a rip off. The claw doesn't go anywhere near the edge of the machine so can't get anything. It's only a $1 but I'm just letting y'all know.

I'm not sure when this location opened, but it's definitely new and kind of hidden in a strip mall--easy to miss, but clearly word is getting out because it was super busy when we went. It came highly recommended by a friend, so of course we had to check it out. It's a counter-service place, so you order up front and either take it to go or grab one of the few tables they have. There's limited seating inside, with a small bar-style table by the window and a couple sidewalk tables--but know that it's pretty tight if you're planning to dine in. The guy at the counter was incredibly friendly, walked us through the menu, and answered all our questions without rushing us. Speaking of the menu..it's huge. You'll find everything from crispy fried chicken and dumplings to authentic Asian entrees, plus sides like regular and sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks etc. Here's what we tried -- + spicy garlic bone-in wings (very good) + sweet chili boneless wings (favorite) + cheese drumsticks ( don't know what we were expecting, but the wings are pretty much just tossed in powdered cheese. It was just ok! + sweet potato fries + pork dumplings We enjoyed everything! I will say the wings are bit too breaded for our liking, but very tasty still!

Tiny place with little seating but has so many options! The menu contains an impressive list of appetizers from cheese curds to dumplings to Korean corn dogs. Some items are a little pricier but worth it, especially with fast service. I ordered the garlic spicy chicken sandwich (not very spicy and fries included), 6 pc tender of garlic soy tenders, and an extra order of fries. Will be back! :D

This was our first visit to CM Korean Fried Chicken. I ordered the garlic soy wings and my husband ordered the original chicken tenders. I wish I would have seen they have disposable gloves to wear when eating the extremely sticky wings. My hands were a mess and they don't have a public restroom to use. Luckily I had a water bottle in my car to rinse my hands. The chicken wings were great. I loved the garlic soy sauce. They were crispy with a thick breading. My husband's chicken tenders were good. He asked for the sweet chili sauce to use for dipping. There are only 5 high top seats against the window with a small counter to eat at in the restaurant. And they were all full while we were eating.

I love this place. Chicken is always crispy and sauced perfectly. I love the garlic spicy sauce. I picked up to go but there wasn't much of a seating area.

This is a a small and mighty restaurant!! It's nicely decorated, and they made good use of their limited space. The service was great, the guy at the counter was super nice and helpful. We got Spicy Garlic Wings, Chicken Dumplings, and Cheese Sticks. Wow!!!! Everything was so deliciously made!!! There is so much flavor packed into each and every bite!!! I can't wait to come back and eat something else!!!

CM Korean Fried Chicken makes amazing fried chicken--crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with that signature crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. If we were talking about just the food, this would easily be a five-star spot. However, the price is definitely a downside. While I don't mind paying for quality, the cost was high enough that I'd think twice before returning. On top of that, it's takeout only, which made things tricky since it's not close to me. After spending that much, I wasn't about to let my food get cold on the drive home, but eating in my car wasn't ideal either. If you're nearby and don't mind the price, it's absolutely worth trying. But for me, the combination of cost and lack of dine-in options makes it more of a once-in-a-while treat rather than a go-to spot.

I was over in the Keystone Avenue area with my daughter today and she wanted to try CM Korean Fried Chicken. I'll start my review by saying that the food was much better than I ever expected it to be, by looking at the place. So let's start with the pros. The chicken (we each got strips but they also have wings, as well as bone in chicken) was on point and executed very well. They were juicy and hot. I ordered the sweet chili strips and they were breaded and tossed in the sauce and excellent. My daughter ordered the Hot White Onion tenders and they came with a bowl of cold but spicy creamed garlic type sauce and a separate container of sliced onions. Likewise she said they were very good. Each of our lunches came with about 6 tenders, which was definitely enough for a meal. Now let's discuss the cons. There is really no place to eat inside and it's set up as a purely take out location. No tables, no customer accessible restroom, etc. They do have a very small counter like area at the front of the restaurant with some chairs setup for waiting on your order. That all said, we actually ate at that counter because quite frankly I wasn't paying what I did for 2 orders of chicken strips & 2 canned drinks, even as good as they were, to eat it in my vehicle. Next, the prices are high for what is in the end just chicken tenders (albeit very good ones) either tossed in sauce or served with a side of sauce. Our bill after tax for 2 orders of tenders (no sides) and 2 canned drinks after tax but before tip (yes they have a tip line for completely carry out chicken) was right at $45. We were there during the weekend. It does appear that may have some lunch specials Monday thru Friday during the mid day that likely has some smaller portions for less $$. Parking was OK as it was in a strip mall type location. So if you want some good Korean cluck and you're not too worried about saving a buck, give CM Korean Fried chicken a try.

    Lunch Special: wings & fries
    Jessica B.

My daughter is the sweetest person ever. She decided to treat me to lunch today & got us the lunch special. I had the wings combo with French fries. I opted for the honey garlic sauce. The chicken was crunchy, hot to temperature & the sauce was perfect and so flavorful. I was a little scared because the lunch special only offered 3 wings haha but it was more than enough. The wings were a nice size and very filling & the fries were also good. My daughter said the people were very friendly. It's small inside but she said it's very clean. They have an option to dine in but she got our food to go. The prices are a little higher than I would prefer for a lunch special ($11.99) but the food made up for it & thank goodness she paid for it haha. I suggest going to check them out.

I heard the hype about Korean chicken for a while just never had it....until I went to a chicken and beer festival. I became an instant fan but was sad that I lived on the oppopposite side of town. Then I heard of a second location opening in broad ripple and realized I was going to be close so this was my chance to stop in. This location is specifically advertised as take out only, but there is like on long bar table when you walk in. It's a smaller establishment so I see why it would be take out. Upon arrival, there was k-pop playing with posters of different groups on the walls. One of the employees greeted me as I walked in and could tell I was a first timer so he went through the menu with me. I decided on some sweet chili chicken tenders for my husband and garlic soy chicken wings for myself. I also got an order of spring rolls and decided to try a Korean drink. The drink was a strawberry cream soda which was very good. It had no caffeine, no preservatives, and no corn syrup. After about a 10 minute wait my food was ready to go. It smelled so good I was tempted to open it up on the ride home. Once I got home, my husband and I dove in to the food. The chicken was so crispy and the garlic soy had a little kick. I understand why it's their most popular flavor. I got about 7 wings. I don lt remember becauae I demolished them so fast. There were about 5 chicken tenders and they were a nice size. My husband struggled to finish the last one, but he did. Overall the hype is there. I'm very glad I got the opportunity to visit and though I'm not in the area often I will be sure to stop here again.

Well I wanted to see what the hype was all about so I came here for lunch! The cashier was pleasant and patient while I checked out the menu. I got a 7 piece wing with golden curry sauce and Cole slaw. The hype is right! This chicken was crispy and flavorful, the sauce has a sweetness but also a mild spice with garlic and herbs, it was fantastic!!!! The Cole slaw is regular slaw but not too sweet, definitely recommend!!!!

Late lunch here in BR. New place opened last week. Garlic Spicy Drumsticks, and Sweet Onion Fries were good, well seasoned, and not overly garlicky. You will need water to wash it all down. Service was fast, but there was only 1 group ahead of me.

One of the reasons I loved it was the traditional charcoal grill, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. Most places use gas grills, but charcoal really gives the meat that authentic Korean BBQ flavor. Because of my past visits, I came in expecting the same level of food quality and service. However, it seems the restaurant may now be under new ownership because the experience felt very different from what I remembered. Service was noticeably slower, and the food quality was not what I had come to expect from Bando. The bulgogi, galbi, chicken, and marinated pork were all brought out together on one plate. When I asked if I could order just beef, I was told that meats cannot be selected individually. Instead, I could choose three meats that would be served in half portions. We were also told that if any of the meat was not finished, there would be an additional $10 charge per person. Another surprise was that the usual Korean BBQ accompaniments were missing. Typically, all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ includes items like steamed egg and soybean soup, but neither were provided. Lettuce for wraps was also charged separately at $4. It's unfortunate because this used to be one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots. The charcoal grill is still a great feature, but overall, the experience wasn't the same as before. Free parking is available, which at least makes visiting convenient. Sadly, it may be time for me to start looking for a new Korean BBQ restaurant.

I loved how many good option were on the menu - but that there wasn't an overwhelming amount of things on the menu. To me that means you do certain things well!! I had the kimchi ramen, and everyone else had the spicy ramen. We shared the chili garlic edamame and pan fried dumplings. The chili garlic edamame was SO GOOD and garlicky!! All of us loved our ramen! Flavorful, and not overly spicy. We will definitely be back.

Both of us landed on 1/5. Here's what we ordered: the Mega Bowl Ramen (Chashu & Shrimp) combo with Thai Tea and a Pork Bun, the Fried Squid Tentacle, and the Pork Belly Kamameshi. The ramen was salty and just didn't taste good, which was a real letdown given the crowd. The noodles came out firmer than what we're used to at places in Texas and Japan, and the chashu was the single best part of the whole bowl. The Thai Tea was a complete miss--it looked good but was overwhelmingly milky, like 85% milk, which isn't what Thai tea typically tastes like. The Pork Bun was drowning in sauce and overwhelming to eat. The Fried Squid Tentacle was the highlight of the meal, though it's comparable to what you'd find elsewhere. The Pork Belly Kamameshi was the worst item by far with a tiny amount of rice with a huge amount of sauce piled on top. We got through only about a fifth of the pan because it was too intense and far too little rice. To be fair, this spot gets a lot of love online for its broth and its novelty robot server (can be found in a lot of Japanese restaurants) so tastes clearly vary. But for the two of us, the meal was salty, oversauced, and unbalanced, and we wouldn't come back. 1/5.

Half of the appetizers were known to me and were wonderful, while the other half was a food adventure. I ordered the spicy chicken sauté and my wife got the mild version of the same. You get a good size portion and it was absolutely amazing and very tasty. You have the option of having the restaurant chef cooking your meal, or you can have them bring the ingredients to you and you can cook it yourself on the in-table cook top. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is new and the dining area was very clean. Parking in front is very small and challenging. I recommend you park in the rear of the restaurant. This restaurant was a great experience and I know we will come back again.
