We ordered the new chicken finger combo Tge chicken was too salty. Hard & overcooked The sauce was nasty too much vinegar. Combo doesn't have a biscuit. Fries were good so was slaw. You can choose 1 side for the combo. I thought sauce would taste like sauce on the chicken sandwich but it didn't. Staff was courteous & friendly. The hubby and I eat at KFC quite a bit. We're big fans of their $5 boxes. Our food has always been hot and only once did I have a problem. My chicken breast was dry, but that could have been because we got our food about 10 minutes before they closed. Other than that one time, I've never had a problem with my food at all. This has now become our regular KFC since we moved several months ago. I do miss our old KFC on the westside of town because of the super friendly employees there. The employees at this location aren't nearly as friendly and sometimes they are even rude. Whatever... just give me my chicken and let me be on my way. LOL I like extra gravy on my mashed potatoes and they do it here, but they charge me for it. They never once charged me at my old KFC. Again... whatever. The food is perfectly fine, it's just the employees I have a problem with here. I keep hoping they'll build a KFC at River City Marketplace so I don't have to deal with this one any longer. Great service. The manager there is always polite. If something is wrong she fixed it with a smile. There is a manager if she is there I will leave. I did speak with store manager about my concerns and she replaced my order and even gave me a cake for my inconvenience. My food was hot and chicken was very juicy and tasteful. KFC on Edgewood across from Harveys supermarket in Jacksonville FL is the worst place in history, if they not short on food then the computers don't work with one person working drive through it's like 30 minutes just to give your order but if the lobby open then you have to worry about the nastiest attitudes and that's aside from the sewage smell you get off and on. The worst fast food restaurant on the planet. I was in the drive thru for 10 minutes and the cars never moved. Went and parked to go inside and order. There was a guy just finishing his order. I got a nasty look from a lady at the register. When I got up to the counter she turned around and left. She proceeded to look busy doing circles in the back. The manager was counting a register ignored me. A couple of other employees came by the register and ignored me. I stood there for about 10 minutes or so and left. Horrible customer service. What I can say about the KFC is that my chicken is hot when I get it. Sometimes you may find a line and you might have to wait . I order the popcorn chicken ( they renamed it but it's popcorn chicken to me .) A spicy wedge potatoes and a drink (the $5 Meal Deal). Usually this fills me up. The $5 fill up meal I got was good & the upgraded menu & displays are really nice but the service/availability was an issue. My recollection was this was not the first time. The inside is upgraded & reconfigured nicely. I ordered the thigh & drum stick meal but was told they didn't have dark meat. I asked would more be prepared (it was near an hour till closing). Horrible customer service. The drive thru employee was rude and barely spoke. He even read my order back wrong. I ordered mash potatoes and the container had potatoes all over the side. Another employee set my drink on the window (instead of handing it to me) so, I had to wait for the drive through employee to come back and hand it to me... again not speaking. This location is okay at best... The service here is very slow even when their not busy.... The inside of the restaurant was clean, although this may have been due to the fact there was no one eating in the restaurant. The food typically comes out hot and fresh (even with slow service). Some of the employees are friendly... Others not so much. We will continue to use this location since it's the only KFC near us. read more

Sunday dinner turned out to be not so good at this local restaurant. My family has always enjoyed KFC chicken and was disappointed in our food, and customer service. The girl who took our order was so "out of it, and spacey" she was not paying attention to her customers and ignoring questions. The menu at this restaurant has recently changed and is totally different from the store near my office on University Blvd. The store across the street from Memorial Hospital is 5 stars. They have the easy to read menu, and the usual combo options, and even still has the Chicken Pot Pie that is one of my favorites. The cashier at the store on Dunn Ave, Sunday, told me it was "discontinued". And, their new menu does not have the combo choices. So, at lunch yesterday, I checked out the store on University and was pleased to find that they still had the same menu as before. The girls behind the counter at this store were surprised that the store on Dunn was so different. I guess it is the choice of owners. I hope the owners on Dunn change back to the old menu soon. A true classic American favorite chain stores should all be alike and keep the customers favorites on the top of their list of choices. Our food on Sunday was cold and not fresh tasting. My son (14 and tall) was totally ignored when he went and asked for butter for his biscuit. I had to go get it. And, was told "he did not pay for the food, we only give to paying customers" WHAT THE #&% IS UP WITH THAT KIND OF COMMENT? I will continue eating and getting dinners to go from the store on University, but will not on Dunn until they change it back to the way it used to be. The worst KFC I have visited. I stop in on a Sunday afternoon for some hot wings. The service was terrible. Several folks arrived ahead of me and were waiting inline to place their order. The only person taking orders was also handling customers waiting for their orders which was extremely slow coming. She truly acted as if she did not want to be there. As she was getting complaints from those who were being skipped and whose orders were ready she ignored those of us who were waiting to place orders. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. Ok now I like hot stuff. So when I saw that KFC came out with some Nashville Hot Chicken I just had to. I even heard that Kevin Sbraga also had to check it out. He never replied back weather he liked it or not. Well I got some and let me tell you the tenders that I got were good. Pretty fiery also with some good crunch to them. The heat was not a smack you in the mouth type. It is that slow burn that hits you about mid way thru the 2nd tender. By the 4th tender it was up there. Not the Kenny Gilbert's hot but then not many folks beat his yummy fiery chicken. This stuff did stick with you for a minute but quickly calmed it's act after a few minutes. I have never sat for so long before being greeted by staff at a KFC,or so long for my food. I sat for a good 5 min. While a manager asisted the cashier because she didn't count her drawer correct. And neither even acknowledge my exsistance untill the cashier left and a new cashier came and took my order .. Then I waited another 10 min for my order then by the end I had to settle for no white mean (it wasn't cooked ) and no mashed potatoes (because it wasn't cooked) . I am not sure if it's management or staff but they really need to get someone in there that can get orders together.
