We discussed Art's contribution to the area at 70 years old. He is truely a gem. He said they pride themselves on southern hospitality. The sides are also good, though truthfully not nearly as good as the chicken, and you get two with your meal. Oh, and their home made baked good are delicious as well. The staff are friendly and quick to point out the best deal on what you are ordering (there are specials almost every day). Plus the atmosphere is VERY relaxed, sort of a diner meets Cracker Barrel (without all the junk on the wall).
