Aww, my daughter ordered delivery & our order was short. We were missing 2 desserts & the portions were ridiculous. I got the red velvet cheesecake which I was disappointed. My last visit I didn't get a dessert. I know I won't ever order delivery again. When my order be missing part of it then this makes me look at things differently. The restaurant was really busy but the staff were very attentive and open to answer any of our questions. The dining area was clean and spacious. Ok let me just start by saying this place is the only "chicken spot" in Jax to serve food till 4am, so if you get the munchies late at night or just got through clubbing..this the spot to go to. Now my very first visit was on 05/31/24 (Friday). My total came to $26 if I remember correctly. I kid yall not, the amount of time it took me to decide what I wanted to eat..felt like it was EXACTLY how long it took them to bring me my food. I'm telling you it was so hot and fresh too I opened the box and nothin but smoke comin out the box! Everything was so fresh and seasoned to the T. Now that was my first visit, 06/02 (Sunday) 3:45AM I go back to the spot, my mom had ordered DoorDash earlier and got a lamb gyro. I tasted a bite of the gyro and thought..you know what would probably be good..that Philly cheesesteak with pita bread like the gyro. So what do I do? I go get that! And it was the smoothest transaction ever. They were accommodating to everything I asked for, extra peppers, onions, mushrooms, extra mayo. Plus they're always making good suggestions about different sauces that would go great with my order. That sandwich was fire!! Only $13 too With that being said, I wanna give a special shout out to Sammy and James!...Sammy usually takes the orders and James is passing the food out. You can tell they really do care about providing excellent customer service. I'm a Uber eats / DoorDash delivery driver (I've tried their food a couple times) and it's always so good. yes they're super super busy : but that's what's going to happen when a restaurant is really good. They always have cars wrapped around the drive through , at least 10 cars waiting on their food. They're definitely super good food, a lot of flavor - always been very accommodating if you want extra flavor , sauces , for how busy they are they work super hard and are always trying their best to put the customer first. They just got a new sign , new menu, new tv's to watch while you're waiting, super clean inside . It's definitely a really good place to eat. In the past this was my go to for tasty chicken and shrimp. However this time I ordered 3 flavored chicken combos . The chicken tasted old. Upon looking at it closer it was discolored. Paid an additional $3.50 upcharge on my meal to substitute corn nuggets instead of fries and they gave me 6 nuggets. I guess they thought if they spread them out and put 3 each in the left and right side pocket of the styrophoam carryout container I wouldn't think that was crazy. I am visiting family in Jacksonville and wanted a fish dinner, so I went to Jax Fish-Shrimp-Chicken not knowing anything about it. I have to say it was the worst chicken and fish place I've ever been to in all the states and cities I've ever traveled. I ordered the flounder dinner and an order of fried conch. After getting the food (and thinking it was going to be piping hot), I went to my family's house, which is not far. When I opened the container, the food was NOT hot and looked old and dried out, as if it was re-fried. It tasted even worse than it looked - horrible! I ended up throwing it out! What a waste of my time and money! I now know that when I come back to Jacksonville, I will NOT be frequenting this restaurant ever again!
