Luckily, I was able to find the secret entrance to the service area without having to get on thruway. While, I was so happy and lucky to find the secret passage was not so happy with my meal and the service received at this location. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of any of the locations on the thruway as they tend to be sub par. Location was not busy but staff took quite awhile to take and fulfill orders. Like all non freestanding locations they do not use the chick fil an app to take orders, earn points, and pay through app. Additionally, they do not offer chicken strips. Food tasted like it had refrigerator burn and had been reheated and did not taste fresh. Service was slow and had to wait a considerable amount of time for service. While it is a great fast food, food choice on thruway it is really not worth it given cost and quality of food.

The fries were interesting. They were nicely crisp, and they were lightly covered with some kind of coating that was both subtly spicy and subtly sweet. They were certainly fine, but I'll explore other sides on future visits like the cole slaw and the pickled radishes. The price for a combo, $13.99 plus tax and tip extra... well ... since I'm really here for the chicken, maybe next time I'll just order a big batch of wings and do something else instead of (the starchy) sides.
