It consisted of a layer of carrot cake, a layer of cheesecake icing, a layer of carrot cake, another layer of cheesecake icing, and topped crumbled carrot cake, served with a dollop of whipped cream. Overall: Quick service. Food was delicious. BBQ Pork on a bun sandwich basket, which includes two sides. Hot, fresh tender pork in the Eastern style (vinegar base). Fries were crisp and hot, hush puppies were crispy, sweet and had a hint of salt. Eastern brined vinegar pork was tender, juicy and filling. No need for toppings! Located on the turn into Pisgah National State park, Hawg is clearly a favorite, and placed in just the right spot to bring in locals and tourists alike. Even on the 4th of July with crowds surging there was plenty of room and plenty of good food. I opted for to-go and only waited for 15 minutes (at 2pm.) It was still delicious, hot, and fresh. The Eastern basket, as it was called, included a BBQ pork sandwich on a bun and two sides. The marinated pork and drizzle of extra vinegar was plenty to flavor this delicious sandwich. A side of their fresh fries and hushpuppies rounded out the meal. With plenty of BBQ favorites including Ribs, burgers, brisket, and fried chicken, a hearty, delicious, filling, and quick meal feels perfect after visiting the nearby Pisgah park and relaxing on the river in an inter-tube on a beautiful summer day. Also, visit Dolly's Dairy Bar across the way for a tasty ice cream treat or The Pisgah Tavern at The Hub for plenty of on tap ice cold drinks.

It was threads of meat doused in sauce before it got to the table. They replaced it with pork BBQ which was average, but not enough reason for me to come back. I went here years ago and forgot how bad it was.

Never been so happy to be "hustled" in my life! First of…read moreall, I have to thank my daughter Lauren for turning me on to this place! She RAVED about it a few weeks ago and loved it so much she did a Google review on it! I have to say she was "DEAD ON" with her review! ( Go look at Google Reviews if you want to read it). As I am a native New Orleanian it's hard to impress me when it comes to food in general. I am extremely particular about most food I eat, and chicken wings are no exception. Too many people think that when you're from New Orleans everything you eat has to be loaded with cayenne pepper or salt. (They're completely wrong by the way, but that's a story for another day)... Anyway, even with Lauren's recommendation of the place I wasn't expecting a whole lot. At best I thought that they might have some flavorful chicken; I was also hoping that it wouldn't be dry. In short, this place blew me away! They have taken great care to create sauces that tease and delight your pallet, from slightly sweet blends, to burn the lips off your body (if you like that sort of thing), ! Seriously, there is something for EVERYONE here! I had a couple of different types of wings. I love sauces, but I'm a big fan of dry rubs as well. The lemon pepper here is better than any. I've tasted anywhere! I also had the Poppin Cherry wings, which if I'm gonna be honest, I thought it might've been way too sweet for my pallet, but surprise! They would just right, sweet with a nice kick at the end! I also had the Jammin jerk which reminded me of the Caribbean. The Peach knockout wings fooled me, because although they started off tasting somewhat sweet, but as soon as you got a good bite the heat hit you back of your throat! All in all, I think I tried six different sauces and one dry rub. None of them disappointed as evidenced by the pictures below. In addition, they have to be some of the sweetest people above that since I've been here in North Carolina. The host is wonderful, and she even gave us some advice on other places to try while we're here. I also got a chance to meet the chef, and it's clear that he loves what he does as evidenced by the way his food tastes and the way he talks about it. I love me some people that love what they do, and this young man does! As we speak, I'm on my way back to Hustle to get hustled again! Don't miss out on the spot, especially for you locals! Oh, I almost You be doing yourself a grave disservice if you don't go, try it!

The first thing I noticed was that you order at the register and then to the end of that counter you have the drink station and the condiments and all that other good stuff. The menu had a small but good variety of options. There were shareables, tenders, smash burgers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and wings. I decided to go with the wrap and got the Asian chicken wrap. My mom and I sat down and the food was out in 10 minutes. My wrap was warm and pretty flavorful I would say. The chicken was grilled in a sweet sauce that kind of tasted like teriyaki, and it came with lettuce and tomato in it. As my side I decided to give the Mac and Cheese a try. I would say that the mac and cheese wasn't too impressive but it also did surprise me because it wasnt like your average bright yellow mac and cheese. So I would definitely try out another side when I get to come back here. Overall I enjoyed my visit at hustle wings. The service was good, the food was good. If you're in the area and want to try something new give this place a try.

First we ordered a rack of baby backs for $40 with two sides. Ribs cooked to perfection. Broccoli salad the best I've ever had. Sweet potato mash also super flavorful. Lastly, we ordered six smoked wings with sweet chili sauce. Wings were delicious, sauce could use a little more sweetness, more on the spicy side. The restaurant had indoor seating, along with a large outdoor area with plenty of tables. We headed inside, got into a relatively short line, and tried to figure out the ordering process, which was a little confusing at first. We eventually figured it out. One thing on the menu caught my attention: "Moink balls," which were described as bacon-wrapped meatballs. When I asked the server what kind of meat was in them, he told me they were out of Moink balls. I said okay, but asked if he could still tell me what kind of meat was in the meatball. He seemed very annoyed by the question, said "meat," when I pressed him, he said that he didn't know. We ended up ordering pulled pork, ribs, roasted corn, and mac and cheese. The food itself was good, and I especially liked the corn. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite get past the way that server responded to what seemed like a simple and reasonable question.

This was my first trip to South Carolina and the first stop was Southern Manners - it did not disappoint! We had a huge group of ladies to celebrate our bride and the staff were all fabulous - big shout out to our cashier/server, Jaden! He was amazing and so accommodating with our 19 top. The ordering was as smooth as it could be and Jaden made sure to go around asking any questions he had about the orders. The food came out relatively quick considering how many people we had and I really appreciate the staff. The pricing was very reasonable and i would recommend if you're looking for a real home-y feeling restaurant with good food! In regards to ordering, we had special accommodations because we were a big group, but normal flow has customers ordering and paying when they walk in the door and then the food is brought to your table. It has a fast food vibe, but I didn't mind it! The line moved pretty quick while we were there. Can't wait to go back!
