The Classic Philly Cheesesteak was on point. Very good and I'm hugely picky about a cheesesteak. Then again I'm a picky eater anyway LOL... but yep thats the way to go. We frequent Miami grill often. Very rare to not have a line, but would much rather wait in line for Miami Grill than Cookout hands down. Out of the three late night places to grab a bite Miami Grill is the place to be. Never had a problem with special requests on sandwiches, food is always hot and ready. The lines are long but we've gotten used to it. Wish this location was in a better spot/building, the actual pick up window has very narrow drive in like it used to be a bank location. I've been eating here for decades (literately) and I feel the customer service has been much better in the past. The food was great! Some parts of the "behind the counter" area that can be Seen are very dirty. The backs of registers and overhead wires are covered in grease. Sorry, I worked in food service for years, this kinda filth takes along time to build up given it was so far away from any hot grease. I had special instructions to have half the cheese steak sub with no veggies. when she brought it out I asked her if she had read those instructions she said no their internet wasn't working. Miami Subs is a one-of-a-kind fast food spot located on a tough side of town. When I last walked in, I noticed the building had been totally remodeled... And it needed it. Let's throw my verdict: I'll admit, the menu is pretty damn pricey. We went and got our milkshakes at the BK nearby 'cause they were maybe a dollar less than here. The crispy wings are something you would want for a full stomach though -- they have that chicken strip breading (similar to Hooters' wings). Their seasoned fries are tasty too, but really they're like most other frozen seasoned fries you can buy at Bi-Lo, heh. However, you might want to go for their wings, as they do have good flavor. Never tried any other items from their menu there yet, but I will continue the journey of this review after I go back. They have alcohol, too. That's rare for a fast food joint. Miami Subs is expensive, but it's a good hit and run fast food place if you have the extra cash. High 3 on this one. ;) read more
