It is very cool inside with ac and lots of people are sitting on the covered porch out back. There is a little pond adjacent. But service improved thereafter, even after the crowd started coming in. And even with the crowd the volume didn't raise much, making it easy to have a conversation without having to shout. Despite the location and physical appearance the restaurant was very crowded. I ordered a four-piece wing combo with fries at 1:30. The gentleman who took my order told me it would be 15 minutes. There weren't any open seats so I went to wait in my truck. After 15 minutes I went back inside and still waited another 15 minutes before my order was ready. This is clearly a community and family restaurant. While I waited I got a chance to check out all the baby pictures on the wall and socialize with all the other families waiting on their order. Overall I enjoyed my fried chicken but I don't understand what the hype was about. Yes it's super cheap. My order was $5 including tax but the wings were small and barely had any meat on them. I will be back but next time I will order a breast or thigh and not come during peak lunch hour.
