Recently remodeled and a big improvement. Lines are nice and crisp and not dated. A very big improvement in esthetics and appearance. When I went here a couple of years ago, I questioned how clean it was. No doubt now because it is apparent that it is clean and sanitation protocols are in place and management cares. Over the past couple of months I've been a couple of times. One time I went through the drive thru, the other I went side but still took the meal to go. My experience with the local KFC's has been varied. They are either very good or very bad. Very bad translates to Chicken so overcooked that it has gone from extra crispy to the Charcoal Stage. While I give them high marks on Sanitation, the Quality of the Food is acceptable but nothing outstanding. Wish they offered something other than Mash Potatoes as a side. Good but not I had in mind. KFC's including this one have a hang up on Unsweetened Tea. Order it and you've get an unsweetened tea with so much sugar in it that a spoon will stand up in it either 8 or 9 times out of 10. Not to pick of KFC but Bojangles are almost as bad when it comes to Unsweetened Tea. This one is kind of middle of the road for the area with some better and others a lot worse. You'll get a nice filling lunch at a good price but at the same time, will not be something to write home about. Only average at best. read more

Yikes. Nice new remodeled interior, but would recommend upgrading the employees as well. Stood at the register for over 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Several people made eye contact with me but no one acknowledged me. Finally the drive thru employee came over to take my order but wasn't friendly and seemed to have attitude. When my food finally came out 10 minutes later it was cold and my fry container was half full. Chicken was dry and chewy like rubber. Won't be coming back. read more

Terrible. They left a sandwich out. A spot of BBQ sauce on the one sandwich we did get. Mashed potatoes with maybe a couple teaspoons of gravy. Coleslaw was room temperature. read more

I would give 1/2 star if possible. Went there to pick up dinner,ordered got to the window to pay and the girl informed us that there was 5 minutes left on some of the food. I said it would have been nice to known that before we paid. Another lady standing behind her has a smart comment. We drove Forward to get food they had the drinks wrong, and we had to pull forward. We sat there at least 15 minutes when the girl came out and looked shocked that we were still there. THEY FORGOT THE PULLED US UP!! Not the best KFC around. Their chicken is always tough (not tender and juicy like other KFC). The last time I have them a shot the chicken was tough again, and I swear there was maybe 1/4 teaspoon of gravy on my mashed potatoes. A few things for yesterday afternoon's manager to consider. Service/kindness/-rudeness! The worst experience ever from any business. She got all huffy because after a half hour's wait in the three car drive through I blew my car horn. She got real snippy with me. "Did you blow your horn!?"She told me I could leave if I didn't like waiting. I failed to mention 4 cars did just that. We went back and forth with each other. Now this is supposed to be a manager? We're short handed she curtly said. Not my problem. Looks to me they were waiting on some group inside.... I seen some come out for air.and making the drive thru people wait at least 10 minutes before they took our orders. Almost totally neglected. I don't know if this a corporate or franchise owned business? But the manager didn't care one bit! And the food was terrible! For now on I will just drive by and blow my horn. Worst KFC I've ever been to. They have usually disappointed us but the last time we went (and I do mean the LAST TIME), the chicken looked like it had a disease, you could see the bones in the legs and they were black. The cole slaw was just chopped up cabbage, no sauce. The biscuits weren't even brown on top and they were doughy inside. We got two orders of mashed potatoes and they gave us one small gravy. We looked at KFC website before our visit to decide what we wanted to purchase. We decided on the $20 Fill-Up which said it came with 8 pc chicken, 4 biscuits, 2 mashed potatoes & gravy and 1 slaw. When we got to the Lincolnton NC store, we went inside to place our order, I clarified that we wanted the $20 Fill-Up and the woman taking our order said "It comes with 8 pc chicken, 4 biscuits, 1 slaw, 1 mashed potatoes & gravy, and 1 mashed potatoes." And I said "It's supposed to be 2 mashed potatoes and gravy. I want gravy on both orders of mashed potatoes." She the proceeded to tell me that "they changed it. We can only put gravy on one order of the potatoes." I even referred to the photo of the $20 Fill Up advertisement that was directly over her head and pointed out that it shows 2 mashed potatoes and gravy in the photo." She said "I know it does, Ma'am, but they changed it and gravy only comes on one mashed potato now." I looked at my husband and said "Let's just go to Bojangles!" And the lady said "Okay, goodbye then." Who is the "THEY" who changed it? Because THEY didn't change it on the website. THEY didn't change it on the television commercials. THEY didn't change it on the sign that's hanging up over the heads of the cashiers! We had planned to buy other items as well, so you lost at least $30 over ONE SPOONFUL OF GRAVY. Let that sink in for a minute. ONE SPOONFUL OF GRAVY sent a customer from your store to the competition. Just got home from going thru drive thru...it took nearly 20-25 minutes to go thru line I order the $5.00 Pot pie and Chicken tenders. When got to window the girl ask me what I ordered and told her, after going to take an order thru drive thru she took my money and after several minutes she gave me my bag but I sat there waiting for my two drinks, she finally ask did I have drinks with that I told her two Dr. Peppers, she gave me my drinks and I drove home. Got home and WTF I open my bag and the first box I opened was Chicken Livers, damn, I open the second box and guess what another order of Chicken Livers, neither my wife or I eat chicken livers. This is the worst I have ever had at KFC, POOR SERVICE AND TOTOLY GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER. The dogs ate the livers, Wasted time and money I will not be going back. read more
