This is a KFC/Long John Silvers combo restaurant. It's located on the corner of Eldorado and Highway 423, next to the CVS and across the road from Walmart. Unfortunately, this restaurant seems to suffer from the same issue that many fast food restaurants in the Frisco/Little Elm area suffer from. Poor performance by the staff and management that just doesn't seem to care. This all translates into low quality food. I stopped in to this KFC for a quick dinner at around 5:00 PM on a weekday. The dinning room was empty and I was the only one in the restaurant, though I did see pretty steady drive through traffic. While I was eating I counted two other people that walked in to pick up orders. Food (2/5): The food was pretty meh. I ordered a 2 pc. extra crispy chicken dinner and asked for a wing and a breast. I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as the side. I received the food pretty quickly, so there really wasn't much of a wait. The chicken was okay, but a bit greasy. The flavor seemed to be missing without the normal flavor profile that KFC usually delivers. The mashed potatoes were okay. The brown gravy was pretty good. Everything was warm as you would expect. The price was typical at $9. Staff (2/5): The staff wasn't unfriendly, but neither were they friendly. When I walked in, a guy casually walked over to the register to take my order. He didn't seem happy to be there. We wasn't moody, or angry, just... meh. No smile, no "how are you today", just blah. While I was eating I noticed all of the staff were like that, including the man I believed was the manager (different shirt from everyone else). You wouldn't describe any of them as friendly. Atmosphere (2/5): The dinning room wasn't messy, though as I said, there was no one in the restaurant. The restaurant had kind of an uninspiring quality to it. Almost like a restaurant that's been around a while and is kind of on the way out, so not much effort is put into making things look fresh. It's not that it was run down or anything, just... meh. One thing I did notice was that all of the employees were hispanic and were talking in Spanish. This coupled with the fact that no one else was in the restaurant meant I just had to set there eating dinner with only a bunch of people having a conversation I couldn't understand to listen to (of course I'm from Texas so I know a bit of Spanish you gringo). Now before you go all he's-racist on me, I'm not saying you can't speak Spanish in the U.S. I'm simply saying, it might be a good idea to know your audience. At best, people won't care. At worst, you're losing customers and creating an atmosphere of exclusion. Anyway, if you care about that kind of thing, be aware of it. Moving on... Parking (4/5): The parking in this area is fine. It's not overly abundant, since the parking is dedicated to this restaurant (meaning you can't park next door and walk over, since there's no "next door". It's a stand alone building). There wasn't much traffic into the restaurant, so you probably won't have a problem finding parking. Though if it got busy, that could be an issue. Overall (2/5): If you're in the mood for chicken and you don't mind meh chicken in a meh restaurant atmosphere at average prices where everyone is speaking spanish (sorry, had to get one more jab in for all the Karens who I know are making an angry face right now), then this KFC will probably do. Don't expect happy employees or managers and don't expect to walk out telling your friends how great it is. You'll probably say it was meh. read more

New to the area. Ordered our usual Tuesday KFC bucket; Chicken was old and re-fried. Bucket top was wet as well as napkins (hopefully with the coleslaw liquid?). Very strange place. I've been to this location numerous times and I've never had any issues. The customer service is decent and my food always comes out hot. I appreciate that if the chicken they give you is tiny, they'll double it so you'll have a fulfilling meal. This is a good location. read more

Poor service from the start. Greeted the young man courteously "Hey, how you doing". His response... "Dine-in or take out?" I chalk it up to youth, but that shouldn't be an excuse. Either way, with the world as it is today, I don't want to chance it by giving a coaching lesson in manners and customer service. Surely it will make it up in food. Nope! Order was wrong and thru picked the smallest and worse pieces of chicken. Got one of the 2 bowls, asked for honey BBQ and got regular. The bucket of chicken looked, felt, and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. I'm sure if I would have called back, I would have gotten a what I ordered and hopefully someone else to compensate for the experience and inconvenience, but honestly I don't want to go back. I haven't given up on KFC totally, just this location on Eldorado in Little Elm. This terrible level of service reflects on the management. With the amount of 1 star reviews, something has to give. In past I attempted to review this KFC but long John silver would pop up due to the fact they are both in same building. Please look at my photo to see past review on this KFC. That last 3-4 visits they messed up my order, always giving me thigh and drum stick when I asked for 2 breast 1 wing. Last visit the quality was worse. I vowed never to eat here again. Well by my surprise my wife ordered here for dinner. Well she ordered 2 3 piece box meal, all white meat, Mac and cheese in both, large mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw. Well by a stroke of God we did get all white meat. But we got original not extra crunchy, no biscuits in either box, cold potatoes, runny gravy, and Mac and cheese was very mushy. Now the chicken, I have never seen such small chicken breast coming out of any restaurant. If I saw them in grocery store I would not buy them. We got 4 breast all 4 were tiny. Normally when you tear open a KFC breast it is very juicy. This was not, it was dry. What the heck is going on there? I wish the owner would read these reviews and respond. I do not care if they offer a year of free food. NEVER again. I said that last time but wife called . She is now on board we will never eat here again NEVER! read more

Sat in drive through for 60ish seconds and no one answered when I went inside to pick up my mobile order I asked if the drive through was out of service and the man working was very very very rude not sure if he was the manager but I asked him to please get my food ready and he kept talking back and mumbling and was also saying rude things in Spanish. Food is consistently the same and good. I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the last 12 years. I ask for a senior discount or drink . Always in the past the resonance is meal comes with a drink , so a senior drink doesn't apply . Today my meal did not come with a drink. But they said they don't offer a free senior drink. I have never posted a bad review but I've tried multiple times to patronize my neighborhood KFC. Much to my dismay, I have been sadly disappointed. Some of The staff has no sense of what it's like to create a lasting experience that brings loyalty and repeat business. I have been to other KFC restaurants with a much better experience. The original recipe chicken is wet and void of crisp! They don't honor promotions at least that's what I've been told even after presenting a coupon with clear instructions for ringing in the discounts for free items. Everyone is the manager when you ask to speak with a manager...the response is "I am the manager". It feels like a game show " What''s My Line"? Will the real KFC Manager - please stand up! Wait...everyone is the Manager? They need a quality control managerial secret shopper to camp out and see how their brand is being tarnished. If you've ever been to the drive thru of this location, you'll soon realize you made the biggest mistake driving past every other fast food place on the way there. All I wanted was hush puppies. After spending I kid you not 25 minutes in the drive through, I got hush puppies. So there is a plus and reason they got one star. The person who runs the drive through I'm pretty sure doesn't wear the headset on their good ear. Every person who went through had to repeat themselves a good 3 times before she almost nailed it. She was nice enough to tell everyone they ran out of original recipe chicken. Then tell everyone they ran out of crispy recipe chicken. The KFC website clearly says this location is open until 11pm. I came here at 10:05pm and the restaurant appeared to be empty inside but couldn't tell if it was open or not. The drive through was lit up but nobody answered. I drove to the drive-through window and saw there was one teenaged girl inside and no other employees present. After some time, the teenager inside came to the window and stared at me instead of opening it. I don't like to lose a staring contest so I parked my car and stared back at her and eventually she opened the window. I told her that this location is supposed to be open until 11pm. The teenager then rudely replied "well we're not" and slammed the window shut. Ok, we have literally given up on KFC. BUT, we have gone there the last three or four times. Why? First off, if you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday there is the sweetest lady that works in there and she knows what is going on. She appears to be never stressed but gets our order accurately 100% of the time. We have had good experiences with other help there as well. Second, the food reminds us of when KFC was really good. We have eaten at KFC in the Dallas area but this one is tops! We live in Aubrey and will make the trip there if we are hungry for KFC. I honestly can say this is the first time ever I have reviewed a KFC. There was one in Allen, and we lived close to it but never went there because of one or two times of them not getting the order right and the food was poor. Sticking with these guys in LIttle Elm. I pulled up tonight to a drive through full of cars. Upon seeing that, I parked and went inside. Upon entry, I was told to use the drive thru. My response was that the line was too long and I had to use the drive through. After a lot of back and forth to which they would not accept my order, I asked for a manager. There wasn't one there. I asked for the name and was simply told "Jose" but the employee had to information (not even a phone number) to contact him. The lady even said there was a sign on the door that it was drive thru only. When I asked where the sign was, she said "they" took it down. "They" meaning the manager. So, 3/4 minutes of arguing because she would t take my order, I simply said to her "you know you could have already taken my order and given me my food in the time you've been telling me that you won't take my order". I downloaded yelp just so that I could leave this review! I imagine that the 1 star that you have is due to the inability for a review to be left with less than 1 star! This location is trash and just needs to be shut down. Poor management, poor service, and poor food quality. I got in the drive thru line and I should have known something when the truck in front of me started to back up so that I could let them out. It took me 15 minutes to place an order. Once I arrived at the window, I was given no total just handed a bag and asked for my card. Once I received my receipt I noticed that I was charged more than the advertised price, but had already driven off. I went inside so that I could receive a refund for the difference. After standing there for about 5 minutes someone finally walked over and I explained the issue. He kept looking at the menu and the receipt like the price would change on the menu. He finally had the manager come up and he did the same. He tells me that the price on my receipt is the right price. I asked for a refund. This man looks at me with an attitude and says, "where's my nuggets?!" I said right there in front of you. He snatches the bag and tosses the food. I said no apologies for the wasted time and incorrectly advertised pricing? No response. I asked for my receipt back he says, "no I gave you your money." At this point there are about 5 ppl in the inside behind me. I leave to go get my phone so that I can take a picture of the receipt. The doors were locked and the first guy tells a lady not to open the door for me. She opens the door only to find out that the entire time that they were standing there was for nothing because they refused to take any inside orders, but just let them continue to stand there without saying a word. I asked for the manager to come back up so that I could take a picture of my receipt, the manager returns and he tells me he threw it away! Waited in drive through line for twenty minutes. That did not bother me much. Ordered two piece white with fries and a 3 piece white with coke slaw. I decide to check my order before leaving after they told me the bucket I was given was for the three piece. The two piece was a breast and a thigh instead of breast and a wing. The three piece was two breasts and a leg instead of the wing. I had two fries and no coleslaw. I went inside to see about getting my order corrected. I explained my order to a confused employee. Then the girl who worked the drive through came up and asked what the problem was. I told her I ordered a two piece white which is a breast and a wing. She looked at the box and pointed at the chicken and said that was what I got. I explained to her that I know the difference between a thigh and a wing. Then she explained they were out of wings so they substituted the thigh. I told her that you can't just sub an item and not tell the customer. She said they were to not to tell people when they had to substitute. I asked to see someone in charge which made her angry. Long story short I negotiated for another breast and also got the Cole slaw that I had ordered. Amazingly when I got home the box with the additional breast had a wing in it as well! I would not suggest going to this KFC. On 7/7/21 my 81 year old father went in and ordered 4 chicken breasts and some legs and tenders. He had to repeat multiple times that he wanted 4 crispy breasts, since he won't eat anything other than breasts. When he got home and we were about to eat I noticed he received 4 crispy thighs. He went back to KFC to let them know he received the wrong thing. The manager, asked where are the other chicken pieces? He stated that they were at home and it was only the thighs that were wrong. She then started asking where the receipt was and he said he couldn't find it, and wasn't sure even if he got one. After they had him standing outside in the sun and heat the manager kept asking for a receipt. She than said she would give him $5 back and not even take down his name to make it correct the next time he goes in I'm wondering where the customer service is? He was an elderly man and was treated horribly, like they thought he was lying. He brought in the thighs do they could see it. Please think before going to this KFC!!! Every time you come here they have a line out in the street, and never have any food ready. They always say "let me see if we have any" then they end up always saying it'll be 20 minutes or whatever as if to sway you from ordering it. Well I just waited in the drive through for 20 minutes I'm already invested! And since COVID they have had the lobby closed even though every other place out here has reopened their lobby?!
