I went today to KFC at this location on Sunday, December 28 through the drive-thru . I haven't been to a KFC in a long time because there's not one close to me. I live over on the beach but I just decided it was time for some Kentucky fried chicken. Not sure why the reviews are so poor but the food was excellent. The service was excellent and I did not go inside so I can't talk about the ambience however, the building did look kinda old and raggedy from the outside, but that's besides the point I just wanted to give them kudos Because a lot of people post stuff when they have a problem, but they don't give credit where credits due . I got the eight piece bucket and I got three full big size of sides and it was just delicious so thank you very much KFC you are very good!!!! read more

I placed a delivery order today at the Lynn Haven FL restaurant. I scheduled the delivery for tonight at 6:45. I was notified that our guests wouldn't be arriving until 8 pm. It's near impossible to change the delivery time on the app and was directed to call the restaurant directly. I called and a man said they have nothing to do with scheduling. He then talked to another employee who told him they would move the delivery time to 8 pm. I got a text stating the DoorDash driver was picking up my order and it would be delivered at 6:39 pm. The DoorDash driver called me and said he couldn't wait an hour & a half which I completely understand then another employee asked to speak with me ASKING (in very broken English) when I was going to pick up my order. WTF? It is and was always a DELIVERY order. Finally I told the DoorDash driver just to go ahead and bring it. I have had other issues with this location in the past including in the drive thru. I only wish we had a KFC in Panama City Beach. BTW, THE FAMILY MEAL WAS SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE 4 biscuits. The dining room was closed so we went through the drive thru. I suppose the world post covid is no service. They charged 2 times as much for what we got and we got half the food. It was hot, but half of the meal was missing. I didn't realize it until I got home and they have such poor service that it did no good to go back anyway. It's sad that most restaurants are turning this way. Store seemed cleanish inside. I didn't see the restroom facilities so no opinion there. Unfortunately I won't be back. read more

This location is closest to my house but probably the worst KFC I've been too. We normally never eat here but today we thought we'd give it another chance. The mashed potato bowl had almost zero gravy on it and only 5 small pieces of chicken. Would it kill them to at least cover the bowl with gravy and chicken? They were out of Capri Sun and ranch so we paid for items they couldn't deliver. The building is dirty and dilapidated. They still haven't replaced the large glass window that was damaged in hurricane Michael which was 5 years ago! That's a major indicator of a business that just doesn't care. Went last week. As we pulled up, the worker was going outside to smoke. We had to yell for help b4 the "manager" came out the ofc to wait on us. There was a sing for a special (10 pcs, 4 lg sides, 4 biscuits, cookies, and Large tea) for $33. When we asked him for that special, the told us "oh that's not supposed to be up there, that's over". Upon asking him if he was going to honor it since it was on the counter and no one saw fit to take it off, he laughed and said NO. So, I asked how long has it been over, and he said "it's been over for a while." The he tried to figure out how to work it to give us that with the same $ amount. Which I was appreciative for. The sign was now laying on the counter, and when the lady come back in from smoking, we ask her how long it's been over, and she didn't know. So, then he snatches the sign off the counter and go in the office saying "I'm not doing this tonight". My daughter asked him what he said, and he started speaking to the everyone in the back, in their broken English, possibly a Jamaican accent, they all start laughing and saying "nall mon". When I asked if there was enough to mix the original and crispy, they acted like I had offended them, and I finally asked the "manager" if he was going to just stare me down or help us with this order. Okay we finally decide on an order and all the while the 4 of them are laughing and talking trash, while preparing our order. We get home and half of the food I paid for wasn't in the bag. I chicken was HARD like it had been sitting in the warmer for a while. The legs were super small and hard. I would have left when the lady was going out to smoke all the while looking at us walking in, but my husband wanted their chicken and that's what I was going to do, NOT AGAIN THOUGH. The workers were so rude, and they feed of the actions of the "manager". If people don't want to work, let someone else have the job. WORSE SERVICE EVER. IF THERE'S A PRICE ADVERTISED THEY SHOULD HONOR IT AND NOT ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER. read more

Place is disgusting, place had just opened and dirty tables and floors from the night before. Manager always has his shirt out and looks filthy. The way he greets customers leaves something to be desired. Customers in front of me were Hispanic and I kind of took offense to the way he talked to them. I'm disappointed that so many of our legendary restaurants have become so degraded. This KFC is not up to standards. The lobby was moderately clean but well worn. Service was quick, as we were the only customers at the time. Around 6pm, our order of a three piece box and a sandwich was not freshly cooked bit precooked. The chix sandwich was rather chewy not hot and juicy. The 3 PC box was a little better. The fries they bragged about were left over. Definitely not fresh or crispy as requested. While we do like KFC, we won't be back here unless there are signs of improvement. Truly disappointed. read more

Saw the sign said new management so decided to give them a try. Stood in drive thru 4 minutes at the speaker talking and no response was patient thinking they were busy. Well drove up to window and had to raise my voice to catch the attention of lady inside asked if they are closed meanwhile its 3pm i know they are open she didnt apologize just shuffled to put her headset on when im right in front of her. Service at this location is horrible. Has been in forever. Seems like if owner is serious about turning things around needs to just clean house including managers. Ordered chicken tenders and they had none. Asked if they were going to make any and they had no intention of making any. Not in a good way, but WOW! First, the staff couldn't answer simple questions. (i.e. the price per piece of chicken). Second, we were asked if we wanted crispy or original chicken. When we requested crispy, we were informed they didn't have any ready but could have it if we wanted to wait 20 minutes. We went with original. While we waited, I looked over at their health inspection and saw that it was from 2017 (2 years ago)!!!! An that prompted me to search for the current inspection. The drumstick was overcooked and you could not taste the seasoning. The breast was better. The chicken was juicy but the crust was overcooked and the you could barely taste the seasoning. I was disappointed by the chicken. They were out of the coleslaw so I had the mashed potato and gravy. The biscuit was dry. I don't think I will have a craving for KFC for a long time read more

This place is awful! Pulled up and waited at the drive thru for 3min, with nobody answering. Decided to go inside to place my order. The people at the front had no idea how to take an order. The manager seemed to provide his employees with any training whatsoever. After finally placing my order, they started trying to figure how to make it. I ordered the "double down" sandwich, which is a promotional food item. Nobody had a clue how to make it. I was given my cup for the drink, but the machine was out of ice. After asking the manager to get me some ice, I filled my cup with every soda in the machine, trying to find one that was carbonated and not flat. I received my food, which was partially complete. Walked back in from my car and got the rest of my order. The fries were very basic and stale, the chick n sandwich was actually hot and fresh, but lacked flavor. The store was really outdated and didn't appear to have much care from the staff. Tables were filthy and the floor was extremely sticky. This place continues to give lousey service. We had a bad experience and thought to give them another chance. They got us again. We placed our order via the app 4 hours before pickup time. We arrived on time and were told there was 60 pieces of chicken ahead of our order. 20 minutes of waiting, the counter person came outside where I was standing and proceeded to put her hand on my shoulder just to verify we wanted extra crispy or would accept original. I told her that we ordered what we wanted. After 40 minutes of waiting, the manager placed the food on the counter. We asked if it was all there as last visit we were shorted 25% of our order. He didn't appreciate it being questioned but said it was all there because he packed it. KFC has lost another loyal customer as there are not enough positives from the visit that can redeem 2 consecutive lousey services. I realize covid is happening but seriously? Good to see them reopen after Hurricane Michael. A little hectic inside the restaurant but food was good.
