I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at this KFC location. I am currently sick and have almost no voice, so when I placed my order in the drive-thru, the employee yelled, "You need to speak up because I can't hear you." There are much more respectful and professional ways to communicate with customers. When I got to the window, I calmly explained that his tone was rude and that customer service should be handled more respectfully. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the situation, he handed me my card back and told me, "You can go somewhere else with that." I asked to speak with the manager, and he claimed that he was the manager. If that's true, it's even more concerning because a manager should set the standard for professionalism, not treat customers with disrespect. I wasn't looking for an argument--I was simply expecting basic courtesy. This experience left me shocked and disappointed, and I won't be returning to this location. Went to get the Tuesday special, which we do all the time at other KFCs. This time they forgot about our order and we waited over 20 minutes before finding out what happened. At that time most of the chicken was gone to previous orders. We were also ripped off by not getting the correct amount of pieces. We upgraded to include sides and biscuits, again they failed to give us the correct amount. The cashier tried to tell us they couldn't exchange pieces since they're under new management. When talking to a manager about our order she informed the cashier they can exchange pieces for a small cost. The cashier obviously didn't know how so she invented a LIE. There was a new manager or someone wearing a suit, visiting with a couple of staff. That's probably part of the reason, was the visiting that was going on. Macclenney restaurants have a pretty bad reputation, but this is one of the worst. I agree with everyone else, just close the doors like many local restaurants are doing here. What could improve? EVERYTHING. I quit coming to this location several years ago because they were so bad. Today I just happened to be in Macclenny and saw that the hot wings were back and I used to love them so I pulled through. Let me say that it was a MISTAKE ! I have attached a couple photos. As someone who grew up on KFC as a kid, I was unpleasantly surprised when I walked into my local KFC in Macclenny Florida with the intention of ordering chicken tenders. As I stood at the counter, the service staff just stared at me. I asked if they were closed and one man apologetically said no but that he was not allowed to run the register and he indicated two women sitting at a table talking to each other and intentionally ignoring me as if I didn't matter. Terrible location. Only interested in drive thru customers. Almost impossible to get counter service, and then they are rude because they have to wait on you in person. 30 minute wait times? I don't think so. Just close the location if you don't care for the customers. read more

I wish I could say that customer service is top notch, but this is a fast food joint in small town MacClenny. I do not think there is such a thing as top notch customer service here. The cashier guy was not a teen but truly not an 'adult'... seems he was caught somewhere in between. May be the result of the world and his parents letting him believe that the world revolves around him. (that is a problem in this county). My food smelled delicious, and was still warm by the time I made my 10 minute detoured drive home. It tasted just fine. I wish I woulda picked the crispy instead of original though. I wish I could give this store a ZERO start rating!!! HORRIBLE customer service. The manager spoke rudely to me and my mom and threatened to call the sheriffs office because we were trying to order extra gravy on our mashed potato bowl! I have never seen customer service like this branch ! Definitely do NOT recommend for anyone to go here. ALSO, this branch never has chicken prepped ! Absolutely one of the worst places I've ever been in my life of any fast food or restaurant go through the drive-through at 7 PM, two hours before closing and I am told it will be a 45 minute wait for an eight piece original recipe. How could it possibly take 45 minutes to get eight pieces of chicken original recipe not crispy at 7 PM two hours before closing they don't want to drop any chicken it's a bunch of kids inside having a sleepover pillow fight pajama party for all I know they want a paycheck but they don't want to work for it and I'll blame upper management and ownership for not having any idea who is in their store if I had to have people like that running my business, I would either run it myself or close the doors. This restaurant was a disappointment. They were out of several things on the menu, the counter around the tea and drink machine was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the floors were very dirty. The morale of the employees did not appear to be very high either. read more
