Didn't go inside but because I'm frustrated with a couple other franchises, decided to try my luck at this Hardee's. Went through the drive through about 4 pm on a weekday. I was the only dude to have the drive through all to myself!!! Ordered a strawberry shake, their sourdough burger, famous star double, large fry and a large coke. Everything was fresh and delicious. The shake tasted like it had real ice cream. Was just on point. The Girl at the window was all smiles, just very nice. Don't always go to eat from a restaurant or fast food place because it's usually expensive and not tasty anymore. Quite the opposite at this particular time. Not sure if I hit the hit or miss but want to let everyone know the food and service was perfect. Wish I could remember the name of the nice lady at the window but if ever I get in the mood for some Hardee's, that's the place I'm going back to. read more

Hubby went thru the Drive Thru to get me cheese grits. I'm not feeling my greatest today. Their was only 1 car ahead of us. Like most businesses in Jacksonville, they seemed short handed. When we got to the window, the cashier was not there. Looks like she's putting the orders together as well as taking orders and payment. I forgot to take a picture of the food. I'm giving this fast food joint an extra star because it's the best Hardee's I've been to in Jacksonville. Food is always hot and fresh. Employees are always friendly. What more could you ask you? Everyone should already be aware of the fact Hardee's makes a pretty good burger. What some may not know is they make some really good soft & hard tacos. They are better than Taco Bell and they are actually cheaper. Not only do they taste better, but they really load them up with meat and cheese - no skimping on these bad boys. Perhaps you're old enough (like me) to remember way back in the day when McDonald's use to fry their apple pies? They were so good. I was so disappointed when they went to "baking" them. Yuck! Well, if you miss those apple pies, look no farther because you can find them at Hardee's! YUM YUM YUMMY! They are generally a buck each, but they often have a special where you can get 2 for $1. Other than Chick-Fil-A, Hardee's is my favourite place to grab a biscuit in the morning. I love ham biscuits and Hardee's is the only fast food joint I'm aware of where I can find them. I've just recently become a fan of their bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. They're pretty delicious. The best time to get their biscuits is at 5am, right after they open. That's always when they are at their best. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30am, so if it's after 10:00am, you may want to hold off ordering anything with a biscuit because by that point they've stopped making them, they aren't at their freshest, and I'll sometimes get one that's pretty hard. Call me crazy, but I like Hardee's even though I probably come once a year, if that. It takes a little longer than normal since they don't make your food until you order. That's a good thing though. I've never had an issue with the service. Matter of fact, the server I had was really nice. I brought in their coupon page from the mail and it expires the next day. I told her that she could keep them for other customers. She said I should keep them as she will take them expired anyway. Yet, I already have the newest coupons, so I left them behind. She ended up offering them to the next customer while I waited. Okay, so I made a special trip to get the Thanksgiving in a Box meal @ $6.99 Three stuffing coated chicken tenders, green beans coated in onion and sweet potato fries with a side of chicken gravy. Note: this meal is only available in Jacksonville. So how cool is that? I have to say, it was a pretty good meal considering it is from a fast food place. I cute twist on a traditional Thanksgiving meal. I shared with my son who also enjoyed it. The green beans were probably my favorite. Yes, almost all of the Hardees locations are not super busy and you have to wait for your order, but that is a good thing. I don't go very often, but I always have a good experience when we do. Our food always comes out hot and fresh, unlike some other competitors. They always have coupons and I enjoy the special burgers. My favorite is the Jim Beam burger, but I haven't seen them come around for a while now. Breakfast and lunch are suprisingly very good. Their fries are better than other fast food restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised to find a mushroom burger and it tastes pretty good. Their 1/3 of s pound burgers makes them bigger than the big Mac and the Whopper. Their drive thru service may be slower but it is accurate and the food is Great. Even their desert of apple pie tastes good. If you are tired of the food from other drive-thru restaurants give Hardees a try. Enjoy my friends. read more

This is the best Hardee's location I've been to in Jacksonville. The food is excellent (for a fast food joint) and the service is wonderful. The lobby and parking lot are always kept clean. Even when there is a long wait in line, the food is delivered fast and hot!! If there is ever a mistake made on an order, let the manager know and he or she will fix it in a hurry- no questions asked (unlike some fast food joints). read more

In all the time that I've lived in the South, I had never eaten at a Hardee's. I know, I know, you are all shaking your finger at me in disgust. I'm glad that I waited until this particular day, though, because Hardee's blew my expectations completely out of the water. I stopped in here for a late afternoon lunch with my sister-in-law and niece. Hardee's has this great deal going that for $5, you can get the following: a double cheeseburger, a chili dog, french fries, apple turnover and a drink. It was such a steal that we ordered two (as we wanted some food to bring to my older niece once she got out of school). For a fast food joint, the burger that I had was fantastic. The meat was juicy, not too greasy, and the patties were huge. I don't think I've ever been this satisfied with a fast food place. I think Hardee's just became my venue of choice when it comes to fast food. read more

Before I rail on this Hardee's let me be clear about the fact that, in general, I am a huge Hardee's/Carl's Jr. fan. I think their burgers are better than most of the other major chains. So, my issues with Hardee's stem from this single location. I have never ever had a good experience at this location. I generally go through the drive-thru taking food home for my family and expect relatively quick, friendly service. That simply doesn't happen. The staff aren't even remotely friendly. In fact it seems as though their personalities have been cooked away in the deep fryer. Most times I arrive at the window to pay and pick up my food they don't even say hello or really acknowledge me other than to grab my credit card while they play candy crush on their phones. I've actually been there while one girl yelled at her 'boo' on her phone. Without fail though, the most aggravating thing about this place is that my food takes an eternity to come out. Every time they make me "pull ahead" and wait by the curb while someone brings it out to me. It always makes me question what exactly they are doing to my food that they don't want me by the window to observe. This place really needs to get it's crap together! The only reason I keep returning is that it is the only Hardee's on my way home from work. I have started avoiding it altogether but it's a shame because I really love those greasy burgers and beer-battered onion rings.... read more

I have always loved Hardee's, but today I found this one, which will now be my new Go-to Hardee's. I have dietary restrictions, making my order annoying and confusing. (I don't eat fast food a lot, but who can turn away Hardee's!). The woman working the register was brand new, first day. She was super friendly and patient. I visited this Hardees on August 7th shortly after noon. I stood at the counter waiting for anyone to acknowledge my presence. The manager and two others were joking around in the drive-thru area. No other customers were in line at the time. One employee walked past the counter to the back area. The manager and another employee walked past the counter to the office. No one ever made eye or verbal contact with me. After five minutes I gave up and went to another restaurant a couple blocks away.
