Found that this location had a buffet while passing through on I-70. Drove the 5 miles off the interstate and found a not so busy dining room. However, the buffet was fresh and was being attended to. All food was really good, and the only thing a tad stale was the bread pudding. Would I go out of my way to visit again? No. But if I was a local, this location would be worth visits every now and then. read more

I have to give this KFC 5 stars because it was the site of what was probably the biggest and longest fit of laughter of my entire childhood. I won't name my friend, but I will say that it's the same I guy I mention in my Mancino's review (the sword collector). Anyway, we were both pretty young, probably 4th or 5th grade. I was hanging out with him for the weekend as I often did. After watching some of the TV shows I wasn't allowed to watch at my own home or was simply unable to watch for want of cable tv (In Living Color, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, MST3K, etc.) and playing video games that many in parents' church feared would lead me to the dark satanic arts (hey, if you don't want me to go dark mage maybe give the white mage some cooler spells) my friend's mom took us out to KFC for the fine buffet they had. I remember us both enjoying the food. My friend, well, let's just say that his digestive system had finished processing some previous meals and decided to release a little pressure. It was loud. This used to be a good KFC. Not anymore. Our orders have been wrong the last 3 visits and this will be our last visit to this location. We ordered an 8 piece bucket of original recipe and extra sides. When we got home we found a single piece or original recipe in the bottom of the bucket and the other 6 pieces were crispy. They shorted us one full piece and tried to sneak in the crispy chicken thinking we wouldn't notice I guess. We hate the crispy chicken as it is usually all broke up and unevenly cooked with grease on the bottom side where it sits for hours before they put it out their drive through window. The side items had maybe a cup of mashed potatoes and slaw. We ordered extra potatoes and you could take all the potatoes out of one bowl and pile it in the second bowl and have room to spare. Usually love KFC, but not this time! The food was pretty good on the buffet but the employees need better training on how to treat customers! I am disabled from a stroke and in a wheel chair. My 15 year old daughter and I take some local neighbor kids to church and Sunday School. We came to KFC for lunch that seemed a good price for what you get. They charged the 2 11 year olds we had with us for adult buffets ($8.99) So we had 4 adults and 4 chilldren's buffet for a total of $57.00. Now granted the kids we had come from government section 8 housing, where the parents are more interested in drugs than their kids. That's why my daughter and I take so many kids, it is a treat to go to church and out to eat. Most are on medication, and they did get rowdy at the end when we were leaving. But one of the employees came and stood by our table waiting for us to leave. We had everyone pick up their stuff, we didn't leave messes. My daughter was trying to hurry and leave, I told her to slow down----I paid almost $60 to eat there and I wouldn't be intimidated like that! Now 2 of the kids spilled their drinks, and a woman did come out and have to mop that up. This employee heard me talking about how much I paid and we didn't leave a mess, and I wasn't going to be treated that way! The woman said---we even had to mop up some pop! I said------it is called a restaurant! I just think if there is a 50 year old woman, her daughter who is 15, then we had 2 11 year old children, 2 7 year olds and 2 5 year olds-----there might be a pop spill or the kids get kind of loud. This KFC is great. I go there for the buffet which is well stocked most of the time. If you don't want the "Original Chicken" that's already on the buffet they will be more than happy to let you get the "Extra Crispy and/or Grilled". The people here are friendly. The food on the buffet is always fresh and hot. read more

I downloaded Yelp to specifically leave a review. Me and my husband are active duty military traveling through from New York back to missouri (and no i do not expect special treatment i am just explaining the long drive. We are PSCing back home and went to purchase our house) . I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with our twins. We were ordering food here via drive thru - I was about to pee myself and walked in and explained that I was pregnant and had to pee. Their restroom was open, and the male worker there SCREAMED at me rudely "NO" when I asked could i use the bathroom... I did pee myself right in the parking lot. I LITERALLY could see the worker laughing at me after. Disgusting and horrible. I made my husband leave the drive thru and not get service from here. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I just ordered my food from here. I asked for an extra biscuit and they gave me a raw one...sad! I will never come to this location again. The chubby black girl with glasses had a horrible attitude. They have greatly improved the quality of their food and customer service since my last review. I said I would never go back but I did. I have not had their buffet in years so not sure if it's any better but the drive thru is a lot better and the food is a lot better. Not sure if they have retrained their staff but they actually smile and are friendly to you now and even try to complete special request. read more

Owners are rude, the food is usually cold and THREE times in a row I ordered a $5 dollar meal, add on a side of mac and cheese, and they always forget the add on, even though I get charged for it. It tasted like they had had some chicken laying around under hot lights for a few hours and then just put it back into the deep fryer to make it piping hot. Just went to newly remodeled store last night (ISat. evening) Should have taken the hint when other customer was complaining about want something they didn't have cooked yet. But thought well everyone is different . But buffet was not very appealing food dried out, out of original recipe breast which is what older guy was wanting, customers needing more dinner ware, reg, coke out had to use diet, but most of all food was cold or luke warm except for chicken. They had line from door you would think that food would be stocked in trays. Finally older guy walked up to cashier demanded wanted money back. We WON'T be back even worse than before. Management needs to be in store and retain or make sure it is run right. When you just have kids running your business not going to work they need trained!! So sad they spent all that money remodeling maybe should have spent more wisely getting more employees on shift and training. read more
