Walked in for dinner but after 20+ minute waits the last 2 visits, seeing a wall of folks waiting and talking to them, we opted to eat elsewhere tonight. don't know where to start. I guess I should start by saying 40 dollars for this meal is beyond NOT WORTH it. The potato wedges were absolutely gross, wet, greasy and so soggy couldn't even pick them up. Mashed potatoes and gravy was super thick and not sure exactly what kind od gravy this was. It definitely was not chicken and was a little on the spicy side. The biscuits was old and crunchy couldn't eat but the center. The chicken strip was the only thing that was editable. The family meal was suppose to come with 3 large side and they forgot one of our side!The dinning room was clean but slippery spots here and there in the floor. We get the chicken breast strips original and put them in the air fryer for about 4-5 minutes which makes them crispy and soooo good. Try Asian sweet chili sauce for dipping. Gen Lee's is the bomb. read more

Just went to Lees to get my grandma some chicken. I read the coupon to them before I placed my order and then proceeded to order. They asked me what drink I wanted and I replied. When I went around to the window she gave me my drink and I gave her the coupon. Then she told me I couldn't use it because I got a drink. She said the coupon did not have a drink on it so she couldnt honor the coupon. I told her I read them the coupon and THEY were the ones that asked me what drink I wanted. I told her I could pay for the drink or they could take it back and she said there was nothing they could do because I didn't order what was on the coupon. She started to then talk to me slow and asked if I was understanding the situation like I was stupid. She was very rude and disrespectful. Didn't even want to try and be helpful. went to the store on 01-28-24. wanted baked chicken as advertised on the men. was told I would have to wait 15 minutes. I was ok with that but then was told only chicken strip. I was advised if I wanted baked chicken other than strips I would need to let them know a day in advance. no place on the menu does it state this. and have never needed to make special arrangements for menu items at a fast food place. in my opinion that's definitely not fast food read more

One time when I was a kid my family was driving back into town from a trip visiting relatives in another state, presumably Wisconsin, and we picked up some chicken from a competitor. It was very juicy and I consumed it with the unfettered ferocity of a velociraptor nearly extinct from starvation. Love, love, love Lee's famous recipe chicken and I can honestly say out of the the 30 + years I've been coming to Lee's I have only had a few not so great experiences. But I cant even recall those bad times because I have had many many more positive experiences. When they were located on grand ave. I found it to be a treat to grab a friend and make a chicken run that was delicious and enjoyable both in taste and in the atmosphere. When they moved to our new location I feared with the bigger store they would lose the small hometown vibe. Nope they sure didn't and it is noticeable and appreciated so much. When we come either through the drive thru or in to order the staff is always nice. They accommodate my kiddos all chicken legs request with a smile and are happy to do so. The food is still amazing and I'll continue to eat here with family, friends or by myself. Thanks for keeping things the same and for the hometown hospitality you give us. read more

Very good fried chicken at reasonable prices. I enjoyed a 10 piece family meal for 3 of us and it was loaded with like 14 pieces. This could have been because the patrons hooked us up after we had to wait 15 mins for the chicken breasts. Lee's has the best fast food fried chicken. This location always has great chicken strips - the breading is perfect and they are large. I also love their fried pickles with ranch dipping sauce. I've always had fast and friendly service at this location. And don't forget the sweet tea! read more
