The staff were a well oiled and polished machine! Food came out fast and was delicious!

I haven't tried this KFC location before, we picked up an 8-pcs combo to-go because I didn't feel like cooking. The drive-thru was pretty empty, so our order was processed quickly. The drive-thru cashier was courteous and got all our orders correctly. Overall, it was a positive experience.

At first glance, this may seem like another run of the mill KFC. But the service I received today was stellar. The food was tasty, and the price was acceptable. Happy customer.

Is it just me or does everyone else also get micro mutated wings that are always broken? Chicken or maybe pigeon wings? Where does KFC source these grade F wings?

Okay, okay, four stars is probs a little grade inflation-y, but this KFC helped me accomplish my mission of having a delicious fast food lunch. I love cole slaw, and Rei R.'s recent review reminded me that I haven't been to a KFC in at least a decade. (At the KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combo joints that are so popular in the Midwest, I always go Taco Bell.) I roll up through the drive thru and order myself a large slaw, large diet soda, and a Chicken Little sandwich. The young woman who took my order was super friendly. In no time at all, I received my food. And it was glorious. Best restaurant (or grocery store) slaw I have had in a long time. My time in the ATL notwithstanding, I prefer Pepsi to Coke, and my diet Pepsi was so bubbly fresh. The Chicken Little gave me equally as much pleasure as a Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger, which is my standard for dollar-ish menu items. Would I want to dine in? Probably not: that's for Raising Cane's, even though their slaw is so sub-par. But next time I need some slaw and a sammie and I'm alone, the Damonte Ranch KFC will be my choice.

The only time I have to wait is when I order 25 chicken little's which is understandable.

Two large (the biggest I've ever seen) white meat chicken tenders. Dipped in buffalo sauce with lettuce and tomato. Such a huge sandwich I gave one of the tenders to my DH and I still couldn't finish my tots. My DH order the brisket sandwich. He gave me half cause it was so big! I took it home and had it for dinner. It was delish!! The meat was so tender and just enough kick to truly make it memorable. He ordered an Arnold Palmer and the waitress kept it refilled. Service was excellent!! We will for sure be back here!!

For appetizers, we had wings and their beet salad. Wings were crispy good and the salad so fresh. We split an order of the Parlor burger with fries. They do a good job of splitting our order. Plenty of ranch on the side. Love ranch! For, dessert we had their Whistle pig bread pudding. My favorite. I can honestly say they have the best bread pudding in town. A must try. Our friend had an issue but it was unrelated to our current visit. Which was promptly addressed by the manager. Overall, we highly recommend The Parlor. Come in have a meal. Solid edition, the chain lineup in South Reno. Normally this wouldn't be my choice, but I've got…read moreyoung kids and they are all about the chicken tenders. Luckily, the ones here at Slim Chickens are fresh and well seasoned, and it come with a range of delicious Housemade sauces that made for a great experience each time. Unintentionally the spot has become our go to value meal when the kids are pleading for us to take them out for lunch for dinner. The Sunday special where a kid meal is $1.99 with the purchase of an adult meal has become a once a month treat. Having the app also has exposed to other unique offerings and their newest menu addition too. They've been doing a lot of solid digital marketing in the general vicinity as well and I often find great value offerings through that channel as well. Most recently that was discovering the 20 piece boneless Hall, which for $10 was enough to feed both of my kids or me a little snack and one of the kids as well. Four stars is because sometimes the offerings shown online are a little tricky to find either in the app or at the kiosk in store. I've had to start orders on the kiosk, then abandoned them and then head to the cash register where the friendly staff is more than willing to jump in and help me locate exactly what I'm talking about. They've never seemed to not know about a promotion which I do really appreciate. The chicken tenders are usually well cooked and crispy and juicy, but I do find them a bit on the salty side personally, some of the sauce is also fall a little bit flat. I tried the cayenne ranch last visit and thought it barely had a kick or any flavor beyond being just a loser style ranch dressing. The fries are really weird. I think they need some work unless I say something specifically I feel like I always get the end of the bachelorette prize they're warm, not hot but they're limp and often quite greasy if I ask them well done or Crispy I feel like they get overcooked so I just don't know at this point how to best enjoy the french fries here. All that service is always 100% and the staff is always able to put a smile on your face. My kids ripped through the sauces and the staff never hesitate to hook them up with extra one or two and they always treat them with the same respect, they would treat us at the counter, which I greatly appreciate. Again, I'm very solid addition to self Reno from Guy Wootan. I'm happy my kids dragged me in the first time and will continue to visit in the future.

Slim Chickens might be called "slim" because their portions leave a lot to be desired. Overall portions are too small and items are very overpriced! I ordered the wrap and it cost over $10 for the wrap alone. It came out and the wrap was max 6 inches long and very small, hardly any chicken and used too much ranch (probably to cover the dryness). It was gone in a few bites. For reference, the sauce cups are the small sauce cups that hold maybe a tablespoon of sauce. The wrap was barely the size of a snack wrap. Do with that what you will. Kind of a rip off.
