My son got his haircut next door to here and he saw their photo of croffle in the window and asked for one. We had time since we were just running errands to have a quick bite so we walked in. We were greeted upon entering. It's a cute little space and I looked over and saw two men working very hard and quickly in the kitchen. The gentleman that took our order was friendly enough. I ordered a Korean cheese corn dog with ketchup, mustard and sugar, an order of dumplings, pickled radishes, a plain croffle, and two drinks. That ran us about $24 with tax, it was a very affordable meal. I didn't want to push it and over order. I did want to try their popcorn chicken and wings. I ordered based solely on my cravings today and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious. I loved being able to order pickled radishes, that was a refreshing addition to my meal. Sorry late review (2 weeks ago 1/14/26) First time trying this place--such a cute little restaurant with about 4-5 tables. There was only one other couple dining in, and it was their first time as well. The owner was very pleasant, and it seems he and his brother also do the cooking, which gave the place a nice family-run feel. I ordered the 16-piece combo ($30) with two sides, which allowed me to try four different flavors. I went with two of their more popular options--Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy--along with K-Soy and Galbi. I really enjoyed the two sides; I chose the potato salad and mandu (dumplings). I definitely want to go back to try their popcorn chicken, popcorn tofu, and the croffle dessert. But my oh my this place was SO GOOD! My family and I ordered a regular, a soy garlic, and the popcorn chicken rice bowl flavored as sweet and spicy. Sides were fries and veggie sticks and dipping was ranch. I really loved how they breaded the chicken. Their breading taste felt like home and memory. It wasn't all too hard, like you'll bite a battering clump but it wasn't burnt or hard, it was just right. He said the sauce is the sweet & spicy and the soy garlic! I decided to get the chicken & rice bowl (popcorn chicken) with the sweet & spicy sauce which was so very good! The bowl is huge! Perfect meal for two! But you know me, I could not stop with one entree. Therefore I ordered my husband's favorite chicken wings. They were Gigantic and super duper crispy with the soy garlic sauce which came with baby carrots, and celery, along with a cup of ranch dressing nice touch did not have to pay extra for the ranch! The location is small -- and it's kept very clean. I let the employee know that this was my first time trying it out and he gave some recommendations. I liked the flavors --the Galbi was really good. I don't normally eat fried chicken but Basak does a great job on the seasoning and frying. It's very clean if that makes sense. No oily residue and tastes very fresh. This is my second time going and the quality is consistent. Even my husband who doesn't like fried food really enjoyed it. Also they do have non-fried chicken which is also very flavorful. The sauces are quite addictive! I tried the spicy soy which was actually spicy and delicious. I would definitely get the pickled radish and/or kimchee to pair with the main entree. The staff are friendly and quick with the order. I and my friend ordered the 8 piece chicken wings with the Soy Garlic and Cheese sauces. Both were very good, though I was much more impressed with the soy garlic. The meat was tender and hot. The radishes added a good sour contrast to the sweet and deep wing flavors. The potato salad was okay. Its texture was too grainy and mushy than I wanted. Otherwise, I will definitely come back. I was impressed with the food here. Finally!! A Korean chicken joint in Reno/Sparks!! And it's locally owned! The pictures I took of the wings don't do it justice, because in real life their chicken is large, juicy and perfectly crispy. They also drench it in sauce so every inch is covered so no need for a dipping sauce. They have several flavors to choose from such as: garlic soy, K spicy, K soy, spicy soy sweet and spicy (yangnyeom) and dry rubs such as sweet cheese and spicy curry. I got a 20 pieces of wings with these flavors: garlic soy, K soy and sweet and spicy. I don't have the highest tolerance for spicy, but the sweet and spicy wasn't spicy at all for me. The other two sauces also had a touch of sweetness to them, but it didn't take away from the soy sauce flavor. We also had the Korean corn dog and the sweet cheese seasoned fries that both weren't photographed because they ended up in our stomach long before we got home. The Korean corn dog can be accessorized with ketchup, sugar and mustard, but is honesty good on its own already. The seasoned sweet cheese fries were good, but was a dry rub which I wasn't expecting. I ordered 8 which allowed me two flavors. The flavor selection is very limited, so if you like tradition wing flavors only it may not be the spot for you. I went with soy garlic and soy spicy. The garlic was my favorite of the two but both had impressive flavoring, although i didnt taste any spicy in the soy spicy. I was worried the soy would make it salty but that was not the case. They had a wonderful crunch as well. I went with onion rings as a side and was not let down there either. The only area this spot might be lacking is the ambiance and decor, as it still has an unfinished look about it. Loving this new chicken place! Very convenient to walk to on my lunch breaks. You get a lot of food for the price, and they have lunch specials. Heard a new Korean wings restaurant recently opened in the area so my sister and I came here on a Wednesday night for pick up. The ease of placing to go order online was awesome, very convenient now a days. We were able to place our order and head out from northwest reno as it was going to be 17 minutes for the order to be ready. By the time we got there it was a before 8 pm and there were 2 tables with people finishing up their meals, which was a good sign being that it was later at night. The vibrant walls made it welcoming. We were greeted almost immediately and was able to pick up our food without waiting. We ended up last minute ordering side dishes before we left! I hope to come back and try the food at the restaurant as the food cooled down by the time we came back home to eat. I will say the wings were pretty meaty. We held off on getting anything spicy in case my kids or step mom wanted to try the food. We ordered the Korean corn dog with sugar, fries seasoned with curry, and 8 wings with k-soy and sweet cheese. Overall, the food was more on the sweet side, a given for some korean food. This is usually paired with the spicier tastes, so I hope to try those flavors next time. The corn salad and k- potato salad gave our meals balance to cut through the sweet flavors.
