The chicken use to be cooked fresh and tasted fresh. Unfortunately it no longer tastes fresh. It tastes old. Like previously cooked and then microwaved. The chicken is dry, not juicy. The sides are the best part instead of an honorable mention. I'm not buying chicken nuggets. The nuggets are more expensive than McDonalds and doesn't have white meat/ breast meat. The service is really great. Unfortunately, there's no more free refills on any drink. I still love the Mountain Dew sweet lightning. KFC has to return to serving fresh, hot, deep fried chicken or else people will find a restaurant that will. Stop serving microwaved chicken. Charging an extra $10-$15 since 2021 is unacceptable for the poor food quality. Chicken per piece went from $4 per piece ( 2021 ) to $9 per piece. *Everyone in the restaurant does speak English. The staff are Latino, and yes, Americans are a diverse group. If you're demanding all white/ Caucasian people, perhaps Seattle or Washington state isn't for you. Learn a second language, it's not that difficult. Multiple nations have multiple languages.

Four dollars worth of mashed potatoes and gravy that probably cost them $.10 to make

so this is the second time I was quite shocked by my order the first time I ordered a three piece strip chicken three pieces like the kind you can get at McDonald's for like five dollars it was like $22. I just about fainted fact I asked them to confirm the price. This time I just get a mashed potato and gravy, thinking I'm gonna get a a reasonable size bowl not a 3 ounce little container for four dollars‼. I simply cannot believe it probably cost them $.10 to throw a teeny tiny scoop of potatoes a little bit of gravy in a teeny tiny little container and charge four dollars ‼‼‼ I'm NOT sorry BECAUSE THIS IS THE LAST TIME KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN RIPS ME OFF ‼‼‼

Missing biscuit and drumstick was replaced by a half of a wing piece. Mobile order beware

My order was missing items. The app doesn't allow for me to address the missing items. I called the number several times and someone would pick up the phone and hang it up immediately without answering. Please check your order at restaurant.

The extra crispy chicken is awesome. They don't let you choose white or dark meat from the doordash menu, however. The pieces are big, but spendy. About $3.50 each. The 18-piece bucket is $60, and $72 for the meal deal. The sides are adequate, but they don't offer baked beans like Ezell's. The potato salad is pretty good, and the mashed and gravy is pretty standard. Not too big a fan of coleslaw, but they have it. KFC has fried chicken over Chick-filet, but the latter is closed on Sunday. Chick-filet has only strips and sandwiches, no dinners. So I prefer KFC when I can afford it.

Cashier: Rivera charged me for whatever she was bringing home for the night since it wasn't my $4 or so sriracha cheese curds
    Tammy E.

I figured out why the sriracha cheese curds here cost me $11 when I found the receipt -- the cashier charged me for whatever it was she was bringing home that night to give to her friends or family I guess. The receipt shows 2 x lemon cake a la carte items. What a scam.

Little bite sized "hot wings". They look bigger due to how close I took the photo, but don't be fooled. Darker color due to using old oil.

Yummy Teriyaki & Fried Chicken has been rebranded to Teriyaki and More Edmonds, which has it's own…read moreYelp page. It looks like online ordering is cheaper than in store, which is interesting. While Teriyaki is the first thing read, I want to say the curry and fried chicken are the stars of the show (I have not had the teriyaki though, but reasons will be explained). As soon as you step inside the store, there is a strong curry smell surrounding the room. Curry is definitely strong and likely popular from first impression. Second, the fried chicken looks mouthwatering and there are different lunch combos. It's also possible to only get 5 pieces of chicken for $10, in case you aren't as hungry. Basically a quarter order, given how a full order is 20 pieces. A full order can easily be split between 2 people, but I'd push for 3 people as well. Crispy Yangnyeom Chicken - they offered me sauce on the side, which I gladly took for an opportunity to try the chicken plain. Otherwise you can opt for the chicken being glazed already. Chicken was double fried by the crunchy taste and extremely juicy. Fresh out, the chicken was also tender and burning. Yangnyeom sauce here is spicier than other places, which is more realistic of yangnyeom. Others tend to focus on the sweetness. Overall delicious and a huge portion. Crispy Ban Ban Chicken - today I learned that Ban Ban is half yangnyeom half original. In this case, half the chicken was original and half was spicier with yangnyeom sauce on the side. For a more authentic Korean experience, you may opt for this as it's a popular choice and allows one to get both sides.

Folks, this place deserves more attention. If you're ever in the Edmonds area craving some Asian…read morefood, this generous mom & pop shop delivers in massive, both metaphorically and literally, ways. My wife and I stopped by, and by some recommendations, we ordered: 5-piece Korean fried chicken (soy garlic flavor) Japanese Curry Katsu Teriyaki and Katsu combo I'm just going to lump the reviews of the katsu orders together. Right off the bay, these portions are LARGE. This place serves generous plates that can easily be two separate meals. The star of the show for me was the katsu. The breading was light but crunchy, and the katsu paired with the katsu sauce? Unbelievable. The curry was also nice too with the curry adding a thick layer of goodness onto an impeccable piece of meat. I'm already thinking of more katsu. The teriyaki was great too. Nice and simple, you can't go wrong with the teriyaki. If you want more of the sweet teriyaki sauce, there's a stand near the register where you can grab a bottle to lather on more. The Korean fried chicken - probably the largest pieces of chicken pieces (drums, wings) I've ever received at a restaurant. The soy garlic flavor was really prominent, and it also had a fantastic crunch to it all. My only qualm, albeit a tiny small one, was that it didn't pack that *crunchiness* of Korean fried chicken, as in it seemed like it was only fried once. But no matter, we were both enthralled by all the meats and flavors. Come one, come all. This place truly is a gem in Edmonds and can easily missed while driving down the road. It's no glamour or pompous shine, but this humble restaurant sure packs a punch. I'm full while writing this review and already planning my next trip back.

Food safety should be the number one priority for any food business, and Jollof Hub failed to…read moredemonstrate that. Don't get me wrong, the food tasted amazing, the portion sizes are great, and the price was justified. However, the negatives outweigh the positives for this restaurant. Me and 3 other people came in, and the store was empty. We ordered 3 okra soups, 1 with chicken, 2 with lamb, and 1 jollof rice chicken plate. The first plate took about 40 minutes to come out, which was an egusi soup to which we had not ordered. We still had to wait longer for all of our food to come out. Upon my food arriving, I noticed there was a hair in the Saran Wrap of the fufu, making contact with my food. Because we had already waited so long for our food to come out, I didn't bother to mention it to the worker. Comparing Jollof Hub to Pass D Jollof, this place has better portion sizes and better pricing. It was $26 for okra soup that includes protein and 2 portions of fufu whilst PDJ charges $34 for okra soup, you have to pay extra for protein, and 1 portion of fufu. That said, I don't think I'd come back here due to the food safety issue.

Rating: 3.5 Stars. Rounding up to support a small business…read more Jollof Hub West African Cuisines in Shoreline is the third west Africa restaurant in our area that we visited. It ranks the third out of the three (sorry). They focus on Gambia, Senegal, and Nigeria. The west Africa region has their own set of spices that are uniquely flavored and so delicious. Their meats are perhaps cut traditionally - coarsely butchered with lots of bones (again, sorry). The interior of the restaurant is modestly decorated with tables that can support a group. The service is very kind though his English is limited; I did more googling afterwards to answer my questions. Business was very slow, not much take-out orders, either. One server covered two tables plus two takeouts during the time we were there on a Saturday night. I hope business picks up. They have their own parking lot with more spaces in the back. The Food: Lamb Afar, with vermicelli, $23.99 - 4 Stars The meat is very well seasoned and tender. It is difficult to sort the meat from the bones. Just be aware this is more of a hands-on dish vs a fork and knife dish. Serving size is so gigantic that hubby didn't finish, which is a rare phenomenon. This may have been a 3.5 Stars dish, but due to the portion, rounded up. Benachin (Jollof rice), $22.99 - 2.5 Stars I asked the server which is his favorite dish, and he named this one. The Jollof rice recipe is commonly the focus and signature of a restaurant or of a household. Both their rice and the meat are drier than I expected. We have had better versions of the Jollof rice elsewhere. I would have preferred more tender meat also. Most of this went home to be modified (which turned out great!). Meat Pies, $7 - 4.5 Stars I have found meat pies at West African and at soul food restaurants. I personally enjoy the seasonings used in the West African versions better. These are impeccably seasoned with a kick and perfectly fried. I preferred this dish over my entrée for sure.
