I paid almost 25$ to have to go back for half my order now my food is cold and gross. I understand that they are very busy. They are only allowing food to go through their drive-through. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive-through, I was given the incorrect order. I pulled around and try to knock on their door and a teenage boy motioned for me to get back in line. I shook my head no as I just didn't have another 15 minutes to waste in line. At that point, even though I was banging on the door, he ignored me. So I drove around the building and pulled alongside a car and shouted to the guy at the drive-through window that my order was wrong. He told me to get back in line. I told him I'd already waited 15 minutes and I didn't have the time to wait and he said "well that's how you get your food ". That was nearly 20 years ago when I insisted that my sister ordered mashed potatoes and gravy to satisfy my pregnancy-induced craving. One thing that has been really difficult about taking this class at PSU is that I'm not hungry when I leave work at 4:30 for my hour-and-a-half car ride. By the time I got to Tilton, I thought I could use a snack. The golden arches called to me from the Exit 20 off-ramp. But what did I see in the distance? A KFC! I hadn't eaten KFC in ages, so I figured I'd give it a try. For less than $5, and less than 5 MINUTES from off-ramp to on-ramp, I got a tasty 3 piece boneless chicken finger thingy with mashed potatoes and gravy- the same mashed potatoes and gravy that fueled my journey into labor and childbirth! Very disappointed in this place. I stopped with my elderly parents at this KFC on the way back home from a road trip to a funeral. We stopped there at 7pm. The staff had a young teenage girl who decided THAT was the time to sweep and wash the floor in the dining room around our feet while we were eating. It was quite appalling. Not to menton the slip and fall safety hazard she created for customers. The bathrooms were completely disgusting. Had we seen the bathrooms before ordering our food we would have turned on our heels and headed to the Tilton Diner. Clearly supervision in this store is lacking. My husband and I ordered the $5 fill up with the hot Nashville chicken (which we paid an up charge for). We parked in the parking lot to eat the food. There were no pickles on the chicken, as advertised, but unfortunately that was the least of my concern. Whoever made the order neglected to put the chicken in the designated plastic container, as advertised. Since the dripping chicken was put into the paper/cardboard box, it leaked the oily hot sauce all over the bag and through the bag onto my dashboard, seat, ruined my pants, and my coat. By the time I cleaned everything up, in hopes it would not stain my vehicle, there was none of the sauce left on the chicken.
