The food is as expected each time - the undeniable taste of KFC chicken and biscuits, Pepsi products to keep us refreshed, and A&W options in case we didn't make a turn to a burger spot but then decided on one when we pulled in. This is the saving grace of this location for me - my food is hot and ready to be eaten each time. Rarely have I had anything from here that was inedible or stale. It is unfortunate that this is the closest location to me. Is this fast food? Yes. Is this a 5 star Michelin restaurant? No. Do I still want food that takes care of what I'm craving and service that is polite and efficient? Yes. I don't know why that's so hard at this location. My recent visit was placed through the app for pick up where we have to go inside to get our order. The doors were locked and the place was not closed. No signage to advise the inside closes at a certain time, no "go through the drive thru" sign. Just me getting moded when I tried to open both doors. If annoyed was a person, it was the person on the intercom when I said I had a pickup order. The outside of the building seems to stay clean but the parking lot is never full when I've been here so that may help. I placed my order at the drive-through for an eight piece bucket, with two sides and four biscuits. There was only one car in front of me in the drive-through lane. My card was charged at 7:09 PM and I was told it would be three minutes for biscuits because they were out. I Was asked to pull around to Parking Spot number one so I pulled around to stall one as I was requested to do. After about five minutes, nobody had come out and then they started delivering to other cars that were not there when I pulled up, there was nobody install one through four when I pulled up. By the way, the sign says mobile orders and delivery drivers come inside. The people that parked next to me were obviously from drive-through because nobody went inside, and their orders were delivered to them. That means one of those orders was after me, and regardless of whether they had extra crispy original recipe, there was plenty of chicken there that could've filled my order, which was first. Not sure why this is the way things are happening Then at 7:21. They finally came out and said oh we're sorry our cooks dropped the trays of extra crispy. We can do original recipe and I'll give you an extra free side. I said OK thinking it would come out within the next couple of minutes. it did not, many buckets came out for the three cars next to me that have since come and gone. Still nothing for me. Finally, she came out at 7:31 after telling me at 7:21 that the extra crispy would take 15 minutes. She came out at 7:31 with the original recipe And I said at this point I want extra crispy since I already waited this long. At 7:43 PM it looks like they put fresh chicken in the same holder as where the biscuits are. I finally went in at 7:47 PM and apparently that chicken was another batch of original recipe. The extra crispy they said had just come out. I was frustrated, and they asked what my order was, and I said the one I placed 40 minutes ago. The manager did a good job at that point and he refunded my money and threw in an extra side and a cake. I think he handled it well enough, except for the lack of communication. Service was SO BAD!!!!!! if I could give it 0 stars I would. I placed an order at 9:30 for 10:30 pickup. Went to go pick it up 5 minutes after at 10:35. I never got an email saying it was ready, but headed over anyways. Doors were locked, so I went through the drive through, and they two boys working there said they didn't have my order. I mentioned the order ID, and they claimed someone else had come and picked it up. There were no cars in the parking lot... and if the doors were locked, how could they have walked in and gotten it? I let them know It should not have been picked up and if my order could be made. They said they "ran out of chicken" even though the store was supposed to be open for another 25 minuets. I asked if could get different items that totaled to what I ordered, they said no. I asked if they could transfer my order to another location that had chicken, they said no. Hey KFC at Jordan Landing, you can improve by not having extremely rude management (Jody) who: 1. Manager Jody refused to honor an advertised special (2 for $6) and she refused to say why or apologize for the confusion of not posting this. Even when I showed it to her online with my phone she only became combative. She was very rude and argumentative when I said they should post a notice that they're not honoring nationally advertised specials. 2. Then she created a worse conflict and ultimately refused to give the corporate number because she was too busy escalating things when amazingly, another customer started attacking me verbally. Just wanted to give this KFC a quick review! Wanted to let these employees know what a wonderful job they did. Honestly, with everything shut down these people are working their asses off. They were incredibly busy and pulled it off with ease. Although, because it was SO SO busy wait times were long. They were able to effectively communicate and were VERY pleasant and sweet. Not to mention accommodating! Running orders out to customers is not easy. During these times, can I say how wonderful it is to see a smiling face. Got the $20 8 piece meal deal. This place has great food, but if you are wanting to go through the drive through super quick, don't count on it! Every time I have gone through the drive through, they always ask me to pull around front. Either they have to cook the fries, chicken, or something else. Every couple years, I get a hankering for some deep-fried chicken. This place being close, hits the spot. Like most KFC/A&W joints these days, they're a little worse for wear and sometimes the chicken has been sitting out a little too long. Maybe it's just me, but it always seems that this store is dark and silent. The employee who was out sweeping the floor was friendly and smiled, and she offered to help grab some napkins. That's cool, and I appreciated it. The guys behind the counter were stone-faced and silent. Not too friendly. Our food came out in decent time, no problems there, and I thought their drink selection was fine. No out of order machine this time around.
