This little place is awesome. The staff is so friendly and kind. The flavors are amazing and truly make your mouth happy as you go in for bite after bite. Truly great little gem. Their fountain soda has that old school flavor that makes think of your childhood. Their wraps are fantastic and their new rice bowls are to die for tons of meat and great flavors. The saffron rice is moist and easy going down. Their pickled beets give that little zing and zang and the spicy sauce just makes your lips smile with that little good nice heat. The staff is friendly, the chicken wrap was amazing, but skip the fries because the grilled pita was amazing. The hummus was good but I would have loved a drizzle of olive oil on top. And the only thing missing was a true spicy sauce. But an employee I talked to said to try the red pepper dip next time and that it has a kick. Overall I will definitely be back. My wife and I went to get Shawarma for the first time at this restaurant but we were disappointed after finding out that it's not the original shawarma and they are selling Venezuelan burritos but calling it shawarma. We asked if we can add fries to the burrito shawarma but they refused to give us that option.. their excuse was that it will "break the pitta aka tortilla" if the added in it but that wasn't true because they could have. I have ran lots of restaurants in my life time but if you're trying to serve an item that is from a different culture make sure you keep it authentic and not make it your own burrito and calling it shawarma. It's misleading!!! In conclusion, as for service, if a customer is asking for a request and it's possible to do it, make sure you do anything you can to provide that service because it will benefit your business later. read more

Great local fast-ish food!!! The meat is extremely flavorful and tender and the ratio of filling to wrap was perfect. The falafel burger was ... I have no words, it was one of the best things I have tried and it was a great vegetarian option. The fries were crispy and had plantains which was different but the flavors just worked. They have a limited menu which is great because you don't feel overwhelmed with so many options. The staff is friendly, we got the food to go but it seems a great place to dine in. What a fantastic new addition to the area! We just got back from Istanbul earlier this year and have been craving good/authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern shawarma which is near impossible to come by in SLC. Very pleasantly surprised at how authentic this was, quality of the food was great, fries were crispy, all the sauces were perfectly balanced, Muhammara was off the hook- perfect mezze and the chips even held up in the fridge and were still perfectly crispy the next day. I saw this place on an Instagram reel and I knew this is definitely food I would love. I had high expectations and I was NOT disappointed. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! The only complaint was the meat to fry ratio on the loaded fries but it was still a really decent amount. The sauces were scrumptious. I loved the garlic on the fries. Food was fast, fresh and very flavorful. The service was top notch! They were warm and welcoming. I appreciated how enthusiastic they were about their food. It was a great experience! It is a place you could go in to and feel like you are just meant to be there! Try the gelato! Yum! The restaurant itself is a little bit dingy.... Feels like a hole in the wall if you will. I've been looking for good shawarma in Utah and I finally found it! I had the beef and chicken mix and it was delicious. The thin pita wrap was perfect and the filling was so saucy. I went with the combo that included pita and hummus and a drink. It was more than I could eat in one sitting but it comes in a convenient little box that made it easy to take my leftovers with me. They also had falafel and a falafel burger. If you need halal options you are safe to go with the chicken. We have been there a couple times. The food is really good. The price is more than you might spend at a fast food place but they give a lot of food so it is still a good value IMO. I especially like the falafel burger. I never had one before and it was surprisingly moist and crunchy with lots of flavor. Best falafel I ever had! The worst part of my experience here is that I forgot to take photos!!!! You must visit this place, their store front is so cute, clean and spacious. I ordered the mixed shawarma and pls just trust me that it was the best thing I've had all month. The tortilla was soft and fresh, and the meat was perfectly cooked. I have eaten here several times now and it is always freshly made with delicious ingredients and placed in their really awesome colorful packaging. The staff is always exceedingly courteous and helpful, making sure that you know how much they appreciate your business. I have had the Just Shawarma and the Alhambra Box with each of the meat options, Chicken, Beef, and mix. I've settled on the mix option, but if I'm feeling like eating a little less red meat I'm perfectly happy with the chicken only option. Really good food with great staff and attractive marketing seems like a sure fire ticket to success, but their location has been a bit cursed, imho. It started as a Mad Greek many years ago that I went to once and never again. Then they were El Valle, a Mexican place that actually stuck around for many years but, again, never seemed to flourish. Now they are Alhambra Shawarma. I really hope this one sticks. The big challenge with this location is that depending on your direction of travel they are going to be tough to get to. If heading west you'll need to make a U-Turn at the light, and then if you want to return to traveling west you're in for another U-Turn. Anyway, I'm a fan! read more

Friendly service, took a little bit to get our order because Food Truck Thursday's at the Gallivan Center are crazy busy, but it still got to us hot and fresh. I grabbed the Alhambra Box with chicken shawarma. It was divine! Seasoning on the meat feels thoughtful and compliments the vegetables and sauces well. The crinkle cut fries were super crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect. The Lava Sauce and Garlic Sauce are delicious and while not necessarily "needed" they add SO much to the experience. Also, the to-go packaging is beautifully designed and incredibly well put together; the little sauce holders are super smart. I wish more food trucks did this! read more

Our first and last visit. Food is mediocre at best. Overpriced for what you get. My main beef is with their attitude and service. We ordered a dish that had a choice of 3 proteins, with a menu note that you could mix or match, which i wanted to do. The woman at the counter looked at me like I had asked for sautéed oatmeal and refused with a loud NO. I tried to pay with 2 different credit cards. Both were rejected, which was weird since I had used them earlier in the day. I paid with cash and expected change. Instead, the cashier told me she was going to keep the change as her tip. Never had that happen before. I think they had programmed their machine to reject all cards so you would have to pay with cash and they would then claim the change as their "tip". Couple this unacceptable behavior with a 29 cent charge for a water cup, and you can see why i won't visit this third rate falafel stand again. read more
