Still a good location, I understand the attempt at getting people through the drive thru faster, but I don't know if the 4 lanes of waiting is working.... I also question how sustainable that method will work as it gets much colder outside. Anyway, I prefer the curbside pickup, but it is not always an available option. Lately I've been hooked on the autumn spice milkshake! I was skeptical, I'm not really a person who goes for holiday specials with 'spice' in the name. But I had seen a lot of great things about it. I'm so glad I gave it a try, it really is delicious! It's got some sort of cookie crumble on top and throughout that I can't quite place. At first I was getting Christmas vibes, but after having it more than once, it's aptly named the autumn spice and I have to admit that chick fil a is a better judge of seasonal flavors than I am haha. Went to this chick-fil-a drive thru is confusing, i accidentally cut the line and Roxy was extremely rude about it she yelled at me saying that I cut the line and the line started in the back, didn't let me speak or say I'm sorry. I could've easily got out of line so I can go where the line actually is, she then told Annie to take my order, I apologized to Annie saying I didn't know and that I'm sorry she was super sweet! read more

Needed a quick lunch and being gluten free I don't have a lot of options. The grilled chicken nuggets were slimy and had very little flavor and the fries had so much salt I could hardly eat them. Chick-fil-a isn't usually my first choice, but normally the food tastes okay and I have no problem finishing it, and know that I was able to be full and go about my day. What a nightmare navigating their make shift drive through maze. I never eat here so I guess I cut through the drive thru lane. There were two young employees chasing after me, apparently I missed where the spot was to order. I felt pressured to hurry and order because of the cars behind me. I have only been here twice and both times were sadly dissatisfied. The 1st time I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was not soup. It was a thick dip. I literally could take chips and scoop mush onto the chip and eat. Terrible drive through, they rush taking your order and walks away as you tell them what you want. They will then ask you to pull up and just to walk away again. This leads to messing up our orders since this happened in multiple occasions. Make sure to check your food before driving away. read more

I think it had been at least a decade since I last ate at one of these. And with a veritable boom of both chain and local chicken shops opening in SLC, what in the world was I doing here the other night? And with a line of cars that was at least 25 vehicles deep, why did I stay? This is what we do for those we care about. When a portion of the night's proceeds go to help them out, then the Chick has lured you in and you show up and you order food and you make a return to the fast chicken spot. Is it awesome? Nah. Is it dependable? You bet; that's how it became a mega brand. But I have to give a hat tip where a hat tip is due, and that kid out there running the drive through with his tablet in sub freezing temps was on the ball. And though the line of cars stretched across the entire development and the inside of the restaurant was full, I didn't wait more than 15 minutes to order, and after ordering, I waited less than 5 minutes to get my food. That's a feat. Is it a good thing that food is that fast? I mean, probably not in the grand scheme of how broken our idea of food is in the USA... but when I was just there to do a solid, I was grateful to be in and out quickly-ish. read more

I don't want to love Chik Fil A as much as I do. But there's a reason they have a cult following. Even when the drive through has an ominous line in front of you, they move through the cars very quickly. They've got the process down to an efficient science-and they never lose the customer service touch that we've all grown to love and expect from this chain. The food is consistent. I do love the chicken sandwich, although the fries are not my favorite. Nothing wrong with them, I just prefer regular fries or tots. OMG if Chik Fil A carried tots I would die and go to Heaven. Never in my life have I been disappointed with a chic-fil-a breakfast sammy until today. The biscuit was so undercooked all I could taste was dough. I had to take my chicken out of the biscuit to eat it. The chicken was delicious as usual and saves them from a one star. The potatoes were stale, undercooked, and the only flavor they had was the flavor of grease. I ate two and had to be done with them. They weren't rushed either because there was no one in line and we were able to pull right up to the ordering speaker. Sorry chickies but you need some work. read more

Worst chick fil a experience ever. I had 3 kids with me. The kids' food was ready instantly but I didn't get fries or chicken for myself. Odd. I waited a bit. Nothing. I went to the counter and the dude who took my order said they had a lot of orders and blew me off. So I kept waiting. Then a trainee asked if I was still waiting for food. I said I was. She left to ask about it. She was gone awhile then came back surprised I still didn't have food. She left again and came back with the wrong order. I took it to the order taker guy and he accused me of ordering the wrong thing. I always order grilled nuggets- I know that's what I said. He pointed out that the receipt said nuggets... am I supposed to know that "nuggets" means breaded fried nuggets and not grilled nuggets? The customer should have full knowledge of shorthand on receipts and correct them? Then I finally got my grilled chicken. No fork so I had to get up again. I felt sad and ignored and disrespected by the order taker guy. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name. We found out that Chick-fil-A is not the same wherever you go. The restaurant in Riverton still does not have their lobby open post Covid. Unsure if that is because of staffing or if because they're still afraid. The restaurant in Draper is absolutely amazing. And I would rate that one number one in the valley. The restaurant on Redwood Road and about 53rd S. is probably one of the poorest restaurants and I would not recommend you going there. read more

Tender and juicy breaded chicken breast a top a flaky biscuit with just a hint of butter. You can order any of their sauces, but it is not necessary and less is definably more in this case. Their coffee is fresh and strong, and they will make it too your taste by adding your requested amount of cream and/or sugar. I'm not a fan of their hashbrown "coins", but I'm a fan of homefries and not hashbrown. My husband likes their crispy exterior and tender interior.
