I went to this location to redeem a gift voucher that I received in the mail from corporate after having a bad experience at a different location. This location is a newer one, with an automatic sliding glass door entry and nice, new kiosks for ordering. I was greeted upon entry and told that someone would be right with me... and they actually were! I placed my order and provided the voucher which was applied forthwith. I ordered the desk of the day, which was an 8-piece bucket of chicken. I love the smaller, more appropriately-sized buckets that they now use. I also opted to add-on, for an additional $10, 2 large side and 4 biscuits. That's a steal considering the price for each individual item. $5 each for the large side and biscuits will run you $1.39 each, so you're getting over $5 worth of biscuits for free. The food didn't take long to be prepared and it made for a delicious and nostalgic weekday dinner for my family. First of all, I wish all mangers of fast food restaurants would train their employees the way Culver's managers do. Culver's management has found the way to make great tasting food consistently with employees who seem to enjoy their work. That said, I like KFC chicken, but it's a crap shoot on whether it's going to be great or mediocre. I arrived at KFC at 5pm and asked if the chicken was fresh or left over from lunch. The employee told me the chicken had been cooked not long ago. So, I ordered the Thursday special of eight chicken tenders for $10 to go. I have to say I wasted my money because the chicken tenders were not good. Not only that, but the KFC dipping sauces are absolutely terrible. The honey mustard dipping sauce tasted like mustard bug spray. However, the biscuits this time were great. Fresh, hot, and fluffy. But last time they were hard like hockey pucks. I'll keep going to KFC for chicken, but not often. And I don't think I'll get the chicken tenders again. read more

So let me share what just happened for me.. I went through the drive through and ordered a kid's meal. And some mashed potato poppers... The first time around, everybody was very nice. When I parked, I realized that I got the wrong thing and still needed poppers... So I came through the drive through and let them know that I didn't get what I ordered. I was told that it would take about three minutes to cook. 10-15 minutes later.. I finally get out the car and go in... Nobody even cooked them.. The response I got was" sorry we got really busy".. it's five thirty p m when I got there and no one was here, but me and the two people add the tables inside. Now i'm waiting another five minutes... And when I told them, I would have rather them, just say you, they forgot all they did was look at me.And say okay. Unbelievable. read more

It would appear that the hiring practices at this stop have gone down the tubes. Went through the drive thru. It took forever, I get up to the speaker, the person taking the order (turned out to be the manager) either wasn't listening or didn't care. I gave him my order 4 times. Then he tried to overcharge me. I have to pull around and wait for my order. I checked it before I left. They got it wrong. As I was waiting for my drink, I sas the manager beating on the counter. Stopped by here this evening for a quick bucket of chicken to take to my small group and received pretty quick service in a very nice restaurant. The only drawback was $34 for 16 piece bucket seemed a bit crazy but I guess that's the going rate these days. The chicken was good ! read more

Every now and then, I get a hankering for some Kentucky Fried Chicken and nothing else will do. My neighborhood KFC closed about 8 months ago, but fortunately, this new restaurant opened near Grand Park. It's so new, that it's surrounded by construction. The drive through and kitchen were in operation when I drove up to other a family meal. I got the 8 piece bucket, extra crispy, with mashed potatoes, slaw and biscuits for $25. The food came out fairly quickly and the staff were friendly. The chicken was still warm, delicious and juicy when I got home. The Colonel would be proud how well his recipes were followed. Listen, I know this is just a KFC but I feel like this location deserves some more love than it has so far. I didn't go here when it first opened so my experiences have been relatively recent and um, this place exceeds my expectations. The food from the drive thru is always fast and hot and correct. I know that is how fast food *should* be but we all know that isn't always the case. It is nice to be able to just pull in quick and get out when in a hurry out running errands. Their own flavor of Mountain Dew is also a nice treat and their new fries are delicious. Hopefully this place stays the solid, reliable and tasty place it is in the future! read more

When you order 50 dollars worth of food, you should get what you order. I won't be going back to KFC. Terrible.

Tonight my order was to be ready at 6:30 so I went at 6:45 knowing they would be late and they had not even started making my order. This was the second time I ordered from the very new KFC--first I ordered the 4pc extra crispy--it was very dry and tasted like it had been sitting for hours--the second time I ordered on-line --was ready in 5 minutes this should have told me it was sitting for who knows when--ordered the traditional--very dry and tasteless---prices keep going higher and the pieces are getting smaller--very small---the is not like the KFC of old days where the food was fresh and tasty---1*** star rating--will not buy again--the probably not be in business much longer if they keep this up.. read more

At first glance, the entire outside looks like it's 75% complete. Inside is nice and clean, but the entire place already smells like every gas station that serves fried chicken. I recommend the drive-thru if you don't want an assault on your sense of smell. I can't speak to the quality of food, as we never received our food. We ordered two chicken sandwiches (just the sandwich), after paying we were instructed to pull into a parking spot and wait. We waited 20 min, then got our refund. Highly suggest bypassing the mobile app and don't go inside to order. Location prioritizes the drive through over literally everything else. As I waited over 30 min past when my mobile order was supposed to be ready I was told it would be 12 more minutes so I had to leave and come back. Meanwhile they filled drive through orders for buckets (which I had ordered) in less than 3 min so it wasn't a cooking delay. They were clearly giving available cooked items to drive thru at the expense of other people waiting to keep their drive thru stats up. read more

We ordered online and picked the food up at the drive through. When we got home we discovered they hadn't included any utensils or dipping sauces for the chicken tenders, and the biscuits were completely raw inside. They were inedible. Very disappointing. When I called they said they were sorry and we could come pick up new biscuits and dipping sauces. I declined as we were having a family thing and I didn't want to leave again. Hopefully it was just an off night. The rest of the food was yummy. I'll give them a second chance for sure. read more
