While I understand being short-staffed can be stressful, I was placed on hold multiple times during the call while Jill repeatedly emphasized that she was working alone and assisting patients in the lobby. Although I tried to remain understanding and patient, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the reason for my visit regarding pre-operative care, I was told that I needed to drop off my pre-op orders before even being able to schedule an appointment. While I was willing to comply, the process seemed unusual and was not clearly explained. What concerned me most was Jill's demeanor when I politely asked for her name and role at the office for my own reference. She appeared offended and questioned why she was "being interviewed." Her response and overall attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a prospective patient. Customer service and professionalism are extremely important in healthcare settings, especially for new patients seeking care. Unfortunately, this interaction left such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable establishing care at this facility.

First I had a medical assistant call and asked a series of questions about me, and the the end she said the doctors assistant would call in a few minutes. I received a call from Jesse and he also asked a series of questions about me, also asked reason for seeing the doctor. When I talked to Dr Clark it went very smoothly and efficiently. He spent close to an hour with me, talking things through and looking things up on his phone for me. I've never felt so validated and TAKEN CARE OF in my life. (Which is crazy, because isn't that what doctors are supposed to do in the first place?) The only "real" negative about Dr.Dorio's office is the office itself. It's a bit like you time traveled to an asylum in the 70s -- small, windowless rooms, very dark hallways, etc. I definitely wouldn't want to be alone in there when the sun goes down, that's for sure! I was released from the hospital the next day and was only given half of the prescriptions I needed. I was told to call his office and when I did, was told he had left on vacation and to contact the Hospital I had been in. When you're really sick and dependant on someone else to help you... it's scary. After my tonsillectomy, I have not had any throat infections, at all what so ever, i literally do not snore AT ALL (I even recorded myself sleeping because I really didn't believe it, because I've been snoring for the past 6-7 years), no problems sleeping at all!
