If you're looking for a gym with…read moreknowledgeable coaching, a welcoming atmosphere, and training that's suitable for everyone from complete beginners to competitive fighters, I highly recommend checking it out. One of the biggest reasons I've enjoyed training here is Coach Daniel. He's incredibly patient, takes the time to explain not just what to do, but why you're doing it, and genuinely wants every athlete to improve. No matter your experience level, he makes sure you understand the techniques and never makes newer students feel out of place. He also regularly stays after class to work pads and help anyone who wants extra practice, which says a lot about how much he cares about helping people develop. The classes are well structured and purposeful. They build combinations step by step, include technical drills as well as conditioning and endurance work, and always have a clear focus. I also appreciate that every class includes stretching and mobility work to help prepare your body before training. The culture of the gym is another thing that stands out. Everyone is respectful, supportive, and there to help each other improve. There's no ego or intimidation--just a great group of people who work hard and push each other in a positive way. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn self-defense, train Muay Thai for the first time, or compete at a high level, this gym provides an environment where you can grow. I've had a fantastic experience here, and I highly recommend Yacoubian Muay Thai to anyone looking for quality coaching and an outstanding team.

I've never seen him listen so attentively or follow instructions so well in any other sport or activity. They were firm when needed, patient, and always willing to help my son throughout the class. What stood out to me the most was the culture of teamwork and support. Several of the kids went out of their way to help my son, and it was great to see the older students taking an active role in keeping the younger kids engaged, attentive, and included. It truly felt like a welcoming community. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend Gracie Barra to any parent looking for a structured, supportive, and confidence-building activity for their child.

Never ending source of knowledge and wisdom from his extensive fighting experience in the ring and his dedication through several martial arts. He can take you from zero or fine tune what you want to work on. He helped me specifically with my weakness which were low and mid kicking strikes. He spotted what I was doing wrong right away. He tore apart my form and started me from the beginning. After a few tweaks, I was on my way. He explained in detail why it was wrong in his view and gave countless situations he countered in the ring to show and drilled me until I got it right. I value his character, knowledge, wisdom, and training greatly and would recommend anyone who is interested in the arts. With my deepest sincerity, thank you for your time and passing of some of your knowledge during our time in training Sifu!

What can I say about this place??!! Honestly, Super awesome place for kids and adults to have fun,…read moreget physical, learn discipline and gain new friends. My son has only be coming for about a month at 6 years old. We tried when he was about 3 or 4 at their old location and he was not ready to focus. The training area is huge and the kids all have plenty of room to practice. This place is a little bit of a drive for us even though we have a handful of martial arts studios closer to us, we don't mind the drive since the teachers are so great. Mr. Jason, Mr. Brandon and Mrs. Noelle are so patient and you can tell they all love their "jobs". They make it look effortless on how well they get all the kids to interact, listen and respond. The class sizes are managed by belt sizes and there are always enough teachers that every kid gets attention. They just had their 10 year anniversary even though we have only been coming a month we feel like part of the family already and plan on staying for as long as our son gets a black belt ;) Also, I really love how this place is also month to month pay structure. We come 2x a week. I recommend having your kids do a 2 week trial. They wont regret it!! No pressure to sign up, the kids all look so eager to be there and you can see how many people were at their 10yr anniversary not to mention all that couldn't make it. Highly recommended and thanks to everyone working together there to making you feel a part of the family. Kudos to our neighbor Sara for the referral!
