We ordered the Lamb Shan-e-Babur that serves 2, the Prawn Coconut, and the Chicken Karahi. The dishes do not come with any rice or naan, so we had 2 orders of rice and 2 orders of naan. Even though the rice portion was generous, we still found it quite pricy. Each of us was given a bottle of water (Pure Life), unnecessary use of plastic is not something that I like to see. And even worse was the surprise when we got the bill that there was a charge for it! The food was delivered by a robot. The portion was reasonable and the taste was good. The lamb was well cooked and tender, the prawns tasted very fresh, and the chicken had the perfect taste, the spice level was just right for all of us. The only thing that was a problem was there were some small sharp broken pieces of bone in the Chicken Karahi, my friend had a painful bite when she thought she was only having the sauce on rice. And when someone orders six pieces of chicken, they're obviously going to need more than a single serving of fries (just saying). Each piece of fried chicken was quite small, especially compared to chain restaurants like Church's Chicken or Kentucky Fried Chicken. I assume that this is because they use only halal meat in this restaurant (which I'm guessing is more expensive and more difficult to obtain than regular chicken). But to their credit, the restaurant's owners gave us eight pieces of chicken, which we appreciated as it helped make up for the small portions. Unfortunately, the chicken was also not salted and didn't even seem fried. It looked and tasted more like "boast chicken" which is the less oily and less greasy version of fried chicken. I can't speak for any other menu items at this restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend ordering their fried chicken. If you want to get a tastier fried chicken (and you're not afraid of going to Richmond) go to Red Rooster Fried Chicken instead. It's also a fried chicken restaurant, but resoundingly more delicious.

Portion size was a wee bit small though, as the combo bowls are physically smaller than the non combo bowls. Garlic naan is nice and buttery. Special mention. Paneer lababdar - nice big chunks of paneer. Really good sauce. Food was definitely tasty. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point. Recommended.
